I am currently having this issue where my Galaxy S6, with Clean Rom 1.1, where when my phone restarts, it forgets all of its WiFI configuration data, and I have to re-enter passwords for the SSID's that I was connected to before the restart. This is a clean install, could anyone shed some light on whats causing this I would be tremendously appreciative.

Restore to stock, upgrade to latest OTA, re-install cleanROM 1.1. Or Odin to the OE2 ROM and reinstall cleanROM. You need to be on OE2 for cleanROM 1.1
Thank you! I did not know that the OTA included a firmware update.

No problem.
Or go to Scott's thread and flash the zip fix for this exact issue.

Which was for cleanROM 1.0 and will mess up 1.1, so he probably shouldn't.
Thanks again fellas.

okay currently running serendipity 3.5.2 and i wanna update it to the latest version that the developer has just released. Can you guys please tell me how to do that
Thanks
My first suggestion is don't update serendipity just yet, there are some known issue IIRC. But if not than go for it brotha man.
All it is, is doing the same thing you did before you flashed to a none stock rom. Make sure to Odin, re root if you didn't back up user data via TiBu and then just flash again kind sir.

All right thnx bro
Hello,
Hopefully I can get some help on this issue, I recently flashed AllianceROM from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1836453
The ROM itself works fine, but I'm facing an issue when trying to flash anything via CWM, it won't take any zip I throw at it, it just gets stuck on installing for a few minutes and then the phone restarts itself and it boots the same ROM, as if nothing happened. No errors, nothing.
I suspect I may have a partial root issue? or CWM is not properly installed?
if so, how should I go about fixing it? I read in some places they recommend downgrading to GB and then flashing ICS again, or is there something I can do on my current ROM to fix it?
If it helps, I'm running:
* Ficeto-Notecore V1.0 kernel
* Build Number AllianceROM ICS v2.1 XXLRG
Thanks a lot in advance,
Cheers,
Cris.
I fixed it,
In case anyone finds this in the future, here's what I did:
1. downloaded the latest notecore kernel from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1749863
2. flashed through Odin
CWM works now.

Thanks, I solved the problem by flashing notecore again via Odin.
Okay, I am new to this locked bootloader and safestrap stuff so please bare with me.
I am on an official 4.4.2 NC2 rooted Att Note 3.
The question is: Can I install the roms that are based off the leaked firmware? It seems pretty stupid but ooooh well.
I assume I can since the leaked update is still "signed" or whatever it is called.

Hey,
If you heard of any success stories why not? The only thing, if someone unlocked the bootloader tomorrow (Which i don't see happening anytime soon), you might be locked because with every firmware, I feel they try to lock down the device more, so if someone is close, you might be stuck!
Since you're on NC2, if it is based on the NC2 you should be fine, just make sure you backed up everything. Because I had an issue with restoring to stock NC2 read thread below.

You can always make a slot and install the rom without touching the stock. Safestrap should not modify your modem and firmware "Odin does".

More info would help. What firmware version did you flash? What version of Odin did you use? Have you checked your APN? What firmware was running on your phone before you flashed back?

Download this NCE file to your desktop, extract it. Flash the tar.md5 file in the AP slot using Odin 3.09. That should fix your problems. However it will reset your phone to stock so save everything that you may want to your desktop from your phone.
thanks dirtydodge
i did as you said it worked YOUR GREAT
I'm on the tmo Galaxy N4 (SM-910T) and I want to try a N7 port, but I flashed one and it's in a boot loop. I have reason to believe that it will not work on will I am still on DOK2 so, I wanted to know if there's any way to update my phone through ODIN to 6.0.1 because I've tried going back to stock but it won't let me update for some reason.... So I'm trying to figure out if there is some kind of file I could flash to update it, or perhaps a rom I could use that would let me update since my stock won't let me... Thanks in advance.
(PS. I seen a thread on someone wanting to downgrade from EPG2 to DOK2. They say you can't go back, and I only have one phone still on 5.1.1, which is my N4. Is EPG2 worth it? Should I stay on DOK2 or should I really persue updating?)
The epg2 tar should be available from Samsung or here on the forums. I believe I downloaded it from a post here somewhere because I couldn't get my phone to install the update through ota due to bad home Internet and using an mvno so there's no free update data. I like the stock MM although the settings screen and colors are all awful. It's not been bad on battery for me or had any real issues. Using stock with magisk only.
