Since Xposed does not yet work on regular TW ROMs, I am trying to figure out if there is another way to modify the lock screen. I want to get rid of the persistent Airplane Mode notification, and would love to get back my status bar notifications instead of the ones that pop up on Lollipop.
Are either of these possible? I have tried a few lock screen replacements, but none of them really work that well (and it seems none of them have bluetooth as a trusted unlock device).
Thanks!

Hi,
I have my Z3C for 2 days now and I really like the phone! But there is a point where I am still struggeling, as I am coming from a MotoX.
Is is possible to activate notifications on the lockscreen? I don't want to swipe the notification bar down everytime I unlock the phone when somebody texts me. I tried some apps (DynamicNotifications, Notify!, Go Locker, Floatify) but none of them are working for me, or I am to stupid to use them Over that it would be great when the screen is lit up for some seconds when a notification appears.
I hope that somebody can help me!
Thanks
Try nils in the play store.
Floatify is my favorite for notifications
Nils is working great, thanks!
I also have been looking for a lock screen replacement and after using the MotoX a bit went with ACC display and really like it so far, its very clean and minimalistic, and allows me to see all my notifications and either interact or dismiss them from the lock screen.
Might try some of the suggestions and see if anything is better.
I have seen this on both the G900 and 870, remember in kitkat, you would get the little notification icons on the top bar? I've noticed they're gone. I know we get the notifications on the screen now. But, I was wondering if there's a way to get the icons back in addition or supplemental to the new notifications on screen. I noticed the icons do still come up if you're on your home screen of a different app. Sorry if this is a silly question, but figured I'd ask on here and see what happens. Thanks!
That's just the way Lollipop is unfortunately and there doesn't seem to be any way to change it that I have found.
I upgraded via Muniz method to 5.0, meaning I can downgrade to 4.4.2 if I need to, but I'd rather try and stick with Lollipop. However, if I can't do a few specific things, I may be forced to downgrade. Perhaps y'all can help me out.
1. I hate the new notification system. I'd rather not have the annoying iOS type notifications on my lockscreen, but there's no way to just get the little icon in the top when getting a message or something. It seems you have to have that heads up stuff. Am I wrong? Is there a way to bring back just the icon at the top of the screen? Along with that, there's no way to dismiss the notification on the lockscreen while leaving an icon in the status bar. Overall, I'm just really really hating the notification situation.
With that said, when my phone is airlplane mode, which is most of the day at work, there's a damn heads up notification on my lockscreen telling me that even though there's also an icon in my status bar. Same with when Power Saving mode is on and when I'm connected to Wifi.
2. The trusted places seems to lack WIFI options, and even when connected to my trusted bluetooth device, I still need to swipe to unlock. On my old GS3 with Xposed, I had the No Lock Home module which didn't require the swiping, while also worked with Wifi and BT.
3. So far, I'm really unimpressed with the camera. Are there any cameras out there that have manual focus that WORKS on the S5? (Not totally a Lollipop issue).
4. Is there a way to get rid of the typing keyboard chooser in the notification panel?
I'm sure I could add more to this as I go on, but I feel like if I can at least fix the notification situation, I'd be ok for now until Xposed works (if it ever works) on TW 5.0.
Thanks!
I'm running Muniz Deodexed Lollipop with Xposed. I have a module installed that gets rid of all the HUD notifications (except the phone call one) when my phone is unlocked. It doesn't seem to work, however, for lock screen notifications. I'm trying to find a way to bring back just an icon in the status bar when my phone is locked instead of having the info show up on the main screen. I've also tried editing the settings.db in a SQL Editor, but that did not work either.
Has anyone had any luck figuring this out? At this point, it's pretty much the only thing I don't like about 5.0.
Thanks!
Benzo Rom for the Nexus 6 running 5.1.1 Lollipop allows the ability to toggle a secure lock screen from the quick settings in the notification drawer. For example, from the launcher, I can pull down the notification drawer to access the quick settings panel and tap the lock screen option and it will automatically engage the lock screen even if there was a password/pattern/gesture/pin, etc. previously setup. If I tap it again, it will remove the secure lock screen.
My concern is that this feature was built into the custom ROM itself and I don't know an alternate solution to this. Is there any solution to achieve this?

I think starting in MM (6.0), Google locked down this feature in favor of the smart lock function. You can set a trusted place, trusted device (bluetooth or NFC), trusted face or unlock until it detects it's been set down (on body). More information
I think, because the intents/secure action has been removed, it's not going to be something offered as a quick tile. I'm not aware of a work around.
That said, it's possible a ROM like lineage might offer this type of functionality.

I am currently running Pure Nexus Android 7.1.2 and have done some extensive digging to realize that a lot of keyguard and lockscreen solutions for Nougat and Marshmallow aren't working at all.
Taskers keyguard toggle option as well as Secure Settings keyguard toggle and lock screen features are broken and not working.
Secure settings is pretty old and outdated as it's been well over 2 years since it's been updated. The only options left are Taskers AutoInput looks really painful and the only other option is SecureTasks. The thing with SecureTasks is that it's relatively new and hasn't been tested long term and the method to gain device ownership looks really sketchy.
