The Galaxy S6 is powered by a 2550 mAh battery, right?
Then this if fairly interesting, see attached.
Anyone else see the same on their phone?
What custom ROM is that? Mine is stock, doesn't show battery capacity
EDIT: Looks like from your screenshot the FCC certification shows that the phone is a G925 not a G920, which would make it a Galaxy S6 edge. The S6 edge has a 2,600mAh battery instead of the regular S6's 2,550mAh.
The phone's is a S6, not a S6E. I'm running XtreStoLite, the ported version for TMO.

Hi all,
I have a focus but unfortunately it was shipped with a duplicate battery . I am looking for an original one. The one which comes with Focus is EB575152VA 1500mAh but I can find a EB575152VU for Galaxy S I9000 (only last letter diff)which looks exactly the same( atleast on screen) and same mAh at half the price. I also found many similar models of battery , i.e., EB575152LU,EB575152STD etc. Are these batteries same or is there a difference? More specifically, can I use the EB575152VU on my Focus?
Thanks in advance!!!

Afaik yes, it's the same battery for Samsung Captivate i897, Focus i917, Galaxy S i9000/4G t959V, Vibrant t959.
Amazon is agreeing with me
Yes, it does.
In fact, you should use the Samsung Galaxy S Plus (i-9001) battery at 1650 mAh, that's 10% extra capacity for an additional 0.5 mm thickness.
Two months have passed in 2014. As usual, releasing new cell phone would be the most exciting news for tech-fans. Right now most of people concern about the publishing of iPhone 6 and Samsung S5. Well, despite of iPhone 6, rumors said that Samsung S5 will adopt a special battery. What exactly is going on?
Few days ago, Phone Arena had posted an article about Samsung S5 battery information. It is said that Galaxy S5 will have a new type of Li-ion battery with 2900 mAh capacity, compared with 2600mAh in Galaxy S4, and rapid charging. With rapid charging technology deployed, it will get the S5 fully charged in under two hours.
The new type of Li-ion battery can store 20% more energy in the same footprint. Despite the increasing quantity in capacity, the battery size might stay the same, meaning more places for the internals, and a more compact handset.
Due to a more powerful performance in Galaxy S5, even the capacity increased, that doesn’t mean the standby time will sufficiently extend. In some ways, we still need backup battery or power bank to support our cell phone usage. If you tired of carrying heavy power bank or many backup batteries, you may try wireless charging receiver battery if you have Galaxy S4.
Anyway, no matter what S5 battery would be, as long as it keeps longer using time, it is acceptable, right?

Just order a TeKit 4200Mah Backup External Battery Charger Case For Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge from new egg $26 has anyone tried it yet?
Is there a high-capacity battery available for the Note 8 SM-N950U, something more in the 4000 mAh range like the Note 9? I'm not talking about the corny things that snap on the back and then recharge your battery, I'm talking about one that is the same size as the original, or a one that piggy backs onto the phone and augments the battery capacity of the original, not a power brick you charge from.
PS: I mean a real one, not a vendor that lies about the capacity.
Thanks!

The obvious answer in this case would be: H377 NO!!!
Is Samsung can't do it, no one else can.
I highly doubt you'll be able to find anything like that, sorry to say.

I was afraid of that because the Note 8 is isn't that old. I've seen the 18650 Li-Ions go from 2100 to 3600 so I was hoping to find something for the Note 8, or at least a case with a pretty flat battery that could add to its capacity. The only thing I see are the ones that charge the phone battery from the case battery.
Thanks for your feedback.

The original Samsung Note 4 battery was 3220 mAh. The typical replacement battery these days is 3600 mAh, so an original 3300 mAh Note 8 now having one that is 3700 mAh wouldn't be too crazy.

I once put an 8000 Mah battery into a Note 3. Jumped from 3200 to 8000, back in the days of removable battery. I think, you could do it. The problem being is that it'd be difficult to find a battery of a higher mah.

...for the same physical dimensions...
We are just trying to save the OP, the time and energy to find something that Samsung already perfected (for those physical dimensions). Anything else is an explosive Note 7 (all over again).
The OP's question is basically asking: "how to fit a truck battery in our Note 8, just to get a few more mAh". Apple, Samsung, and other manufacturers, finally got the formula right in my opinion. My phone lasts 2 days if I'm not gaming on my phone constantly

To make a jump like that normally means a larger back cover with removable batteries. That would work up through the Note 4. For the Note 8 or 9, it would require a new back cover. I could make one easily enough from plastic, but I don't know how it would affect the strength integrity of the phone because I'm half guessing that a good amount of its strength comes from the back cover. The only thing they make for them is a thicker case with a piggy-back battery for charging the main battery and no fast charging.

I know that the wire that connects the battery to the motherboard is different in both phones but can I take out the wire from the s6 active battery and use it on an s6 edge battery ? and also are the sizes of the two batteries the same?
I cannot buy an s6 active battery because I live in Iraq. and getting it from amazon is very costly. I need a different way for a battery for this phone.
