If anyone can help me out i'm having a little bit of an issue. I just unlocked my Galaxy S phone with one of your guides on this website, but now i face the issue of not be able to connect to my Data. I'm with Rogers just unlocked the phone from Bell, and having a real hard time figuring out how to get it to work.
Now i can make calls and SMS and such but i cannot use my Data Plan ?

Thank you in advance.
You need to enter the APN information for Rogers. I don't know it, sorry, however it should be easy to come by.
How would i go about changing the APN ?
Sorry real newb to all this
Hey Ben

Ok, I've been trying to find the answer to this for quite some time, so I thought I would finally just ask. I have a Sprint HTC Hero that i flashed to Cricket. Everything works as of right now except MMS. I'm on The 55$ Android plan, so i was wondering if there was anyway to get MMS with my current setup, since there are android phones on cricket now. I'm running CM6.2, which I love. I don't want to downgrade to a 2.1 rom like people have been doing to get it to work, or use the proxy because i'm on the android plan and i shouldn't have to just for MMS. There has to be some way to get MMS to work, i just haven't been able to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
how'd you flash to cricket? pm me pls
Does any one know the correct apn for motorola droid gingerbread. CRICKET WIRELESS Because i can't send text messages. I could when i ran 2.2 but its not working now. Please does anyone know what it is i would really appreciate it.
I'm in the same boat. When i open the APN's and setup the cricket settings they dont' stick. When i save nothing is there.

Did you flash the newest ROM and are you a tmo custy or an at&t custy? BTW... if you read through the entire 3.2 post you'd have found the solution to your problems was setting the APN under Wireless and Networks.

Did that get fixed? I heard people were still having apn issues even after manually setting them. Guess I'm off to wade through that thread!
I am with T-Mobile and I did this last night using the 3.2 post nothing more and the phone was already root with the 2.2.2 upate.
I looked over the APN post but doesnt really explain lot or give details. I know T-Mobile has 3 APN's that they use so maybe I should call them and get the information for all 3 ? I am assuming one is for MMS and the other two are phone/Data ?
Can you text with this device? I have never been able to... Not without some kind of program like Gvoice or something.

Hello there,
First time poster. I've had a hell of a time trying to figure out this problem with my LG L90 D415, updated to the latest version of Lolipop, which I bought advertised as "unlocked" off eBay and intended to use with Consumer Cellular (CC), a virtual GSM network using bandwidth from the AT&T and T-Mobile networks. Such a phone is supposed to work on their network. It is now rooted and ready to go. However, I cannot change the APN settings to use data. Under settings, if I try to create a new APN with a different MNC number, the new APN will automatically be deleted. The phone is supposedly unlocked, and does seem to be so as it accepts the CC sim card and I am able to send and receive calls with it. It is now rooted using the one-click script by avicohh method.
As a side note, I also cannot send or receive text messages from anyone other than a friend who is on T-Mobile. I've contacted CC's tech support and they swear its the fact that the APN is still locked on the phone. I therefore plan to fix this problem so I can add the CC network's APN to see if it makes a difference on my phone.
I have since rooted the phone using the one-click method. I was even able to delete the T-Mobile APN entry by using a combination of BusyBox, /system/app mover, and APNManager apps. However this does not stop any APN without the T-Mobile MNC from being auto-deleted in Settings -> Mobile Network - APNs.
I have downloaded and installed the Android SDK suite in anticipation of flashing a rom onto the phone as a last resort fix. However, I cannot find a link to a rom for the D415 which I am certain does not contain the T-Mobile firmware and bloatware on it, neither on LG's website nor here.
I am hoping someone here has heard of this problem before and has an idea of what I can do to fix this frustrating APN problem caused by T-Mobile.
Have you tried this: http://forums.androidcentral.com/ve...41691-mod-add-apn-editor-system-settings.html

I just tried it. No luck, but thank you for the link. Looks like it applied to the same problem, but solved it only for an older version of Android. It will not work with my phone which has Lolipop. My problem is that the new APN entries get auto-deleted, not that they are greyed out as that link described.
I have contacted LG and T-Mobile technical support, and they keep pointing fingers at each other and cannot help me. After much insistence, T-Mobile has suggested that I go into one of their stores to solve the problem, and if a support tech cannot help me there, then I should return the phone to the vendor, which is what I intend to do.
If anyone has a clue how to unlock the APN settings on this phone, please help!
