[Q] Change carrier text - Xperia Z3 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have 2 questions:
- Is it possible put a carrier logo instead of carrier label?
- Is it possible change mobile net text? For example, I don't want "G, E, H, H+..." I want "2G, 2G+, 3G, 3G+...."

Anybody?

Try Gravity Box (xposed module)

I have it but I only can change between LTE and 4G. I want a customizable text from every net indicator.

Android API does not allow to put text in the status bar.
Some ROMS (like Motorola and Miui) show the carrier's name, and most people complains that it takes all space for notifications so they usually disable this feature at settings...

[Q] Configure signal type icon on the status bar

Hi. I'm using a custom rom based on Latin America Retail for XT860. It's set to show the signal type icon (3G/E) even when data is disabled. I want to set it to appear only when data is enabled (like in the stock roms), i know it can be set editing the xml files but i don't know wich file and line.
Does anyone know what do i have to edit?

Disable network indicator arrows

Is there a way to disable the network indicator arrows (ul/dl) that show up when there's network traffic for wifi/data? On OEM 4.4.4 ROM, latest fw 157. Rooted as well if there's a way that requires it.

Remove "HD" from notification bar

I enabled VOLTE (I think) by putting a code into the dialer. Since then, next to my signal and 4G, it has "HD" on the notification bar. I have dual SIM so it shows twice (twice as unnecessary). Is there a way to hide this?
Im not rooted and never quite figured out how to use ADB etc...
I tried to include a picture, but I have not posted enough to add it.
If you can see HD in SIM, the reason is you carrier and you SIM Card have VoLTE service active, this allow make voice calls through LTE connection and is good for you.
The code for disable or enable "region check" is:
*#*#86583#*#*
Check in Settings / Network & Internet / Mobile Network / Advance
The option
Enhaced 4G LTE Mode OFF ON
Use LTE services to improve voice and
other communications (recommended)
This option ON or OFF the HD in you phone.
Use the code to activate the hide option, turn OFF and use the code again to hide the option.

Hello!
You can hide this icon via "System UI Tuner". You can access to it using Nova Launcher, you can search in Google about it.

5g lte widget

Does anyone know of a 5g 4g toggle / widget or easy way to change the network setting for the pixel 5? I don't see an easy way to do it without jumping through the settings menu hoops but I could be missing something. Running on t-mobile USA if that matters.
how do you do it through the menu?

Settings - Network & internet - Mobile network - Preferred network type
Then choose the toggle of the network you want to use 5g LTE 3g or 2g
I was just hoping to be able to more easily switch between 5g and lte if I'm not going to be doing anything too bandwidth intensive and want to extend my battery life.
ok, so the built in app "phone services" has this activity called radio info. you can create a shortcut to it using nova launcher for example, or other apps that let you create shortcuts directly to activities. there's a drop down menu there that lets you change the 4g/5g (and 3g and 2g too). it's not a one click solution, but it's much faster than the other way (like 2-3 clicks).
Hey u can change it in phone info
Then set preferred network type if u don't know these setting do not mess it.
*#*#4636#*#*
