Flashfire won't open? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

Im on a rooted galaxy s6 edge on the latest Ota, rooted with PPR 6.0 and i downloaded flashfire to switch over to clean rom but flashfire won't open? I try and it opens for half a second and just closes, not in recent apps or anything. Anyone else having issues?

turn off auto update of time and date, then set your year to 2013, after you flash your stuff change the date back

Glad I could help. I remembered issues back on my motor razer and even my s4 in the begin g where a date change made a lot of things work. Took a guess and it worked.

Pages about it have been already discussed on the FlashFire thread v20 is out and ready for update but you'll have to set your time back to auto and reboot or it won't install.
I've confirmed v20 working normally on my G925A

Thank you

5.1.1 issues and problems

Rom works almost perfect for me but sometimes screen wake takes around 5 sec. And after lockscreen phone lags for 10 sec cpu usage is too high even on idle then it settles.
I also experience launcher crashes. Phone randomly throw me back to lockscreen it just happened 5 min ago i was using twitter and phone just went to lockscreen.
Any1 else noticed these issues i guess these problems exist on sprint 5.1.1 checked other forums .
Ps: phone is wiped twice and it didnt help.
Update: culprit is fingerprint after disabling fingerprint lockscreen everything works flawless.
New update COI4 fixed fingerprint issue.
I have upgraded via 4 files at first post and did full wipe twice after installation , and just to be sure i have downloaded firmware from sammobile and flashed over again .
On first flash i did notice some lags and sudden application crashes just like you , but after flashing firmware from sammobile only thing i notice is when pressing recent apps toggle.
example. (when i clear recent applications and toggle recent apps over and over it lags, but not allways). If it helps try downloading firmware from sammobile or via kies and give it a try.

So updated from ota. And another problems is after lockscreen when i press multitasking button it doesnt respond i can still navigate through apps without lag etc then multitasking screen comes after 15 sec or something by itself. Its so weird problem. Its too bad that phone works excellent besides these problems. Something is wrong with lockscreen or fingerprint.
I am using fingerprint lock for it works fine,
Just noticed this when recent apps tray is empty it lags .. but when i open some apps it works perfect every time .. maybe some memory management . Give it a try maybe it's same with you .

Yes definetly same. Fingerprint works for me aswell but this lag happens very randomly , and power saving mode is just unusable in power saving it becomes constant ill probably wipe again but it doesnt seem to help me. Its like something abuse cpu after deepsleep.
So i'm not the only one .. If you are going to restore and wipe again, maybe try it over samsung kies, and let kies download firmware for you.
I didn't try this because of banking application, every time i wipe phone i need to go to the bank to get activation.

Did you customize the rom such as flashing TWRP and installed any zip file or is it completely stock when you get this lag ?

I will use it like this couple more days, maybe they release 5.1.1 for other countries with newer firmware files.
I was installed before n910c rulinglite s6 rom. I Did wipe data cache and I flashed n910c 5.1.1 poland coh4 rom. And didn't work direct call gestures. Proximity sensor won't work when I during call put my ear not turning off screen. Wifi passwords always forgetting every reboot. I flashed last night again same Rom and I did wipe data cache. I'm thinking solution where is the problem. I will flash tonight 5.0.1 Rom.
I was chanced build prop ro.securestorage.support=true to false but I think every sammobile flash Rom being stock true line. Never chanced other command lines.
Any idea solution?

I think the problem is about fingerprint. I removed lockscreen and fingerprints and the problem seems solved.
I have fingerprint error , action memo doesn't work

Dload and flash kernel and SU from Sevens thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/development/repack-kernel-root-android-6-0-t3232387
After you reboot google play services will start to force close. Itll be annoying but navigate to Settings->General->Apps and find play services and uninstall updates. It should stop after that. At least it did for me
---------- Post added at 01:30 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:25 AM ----------
This likely leads into the security FC but trying to access lockscreen options from display also FCs
If u just flash superu it wont reboot, it looks like it wants to but it just hangs on the lg screen.
Also had force reboots by just trying to uninstall apps. I would say this is highly experimental at this point

You have to flash BOTH the kernel and the SU zips. The SU zip only installs the app. The kernel is what actually enables root. And I would use TiBackup to uninstall things atm
Have you successfully got root to work on this port? I could not. Just stuck in bootloop.
Other bug is sd card doesn't read corretly.
Hopefully T-Mobile will have M soon. I really like the feel of it.

my experience so far,
only boots after flashing the rooted kernel, otherwise it gets stuck on the blue led. charging seems to be very very slow - it's estimating 12+ hours to get like 20% or so charge. If i'm not using the phone it appears to be charging at a decent speed so i'll leave it until the morning. Also, trying to uninstall apps causes a soft reboot.

Hello, and thanks for doing this. I can live without Bluetooth no problem, but there are a couple crushing bugs with this build. One being that I cannot uninstall anything (reboots instantly) another is that I cannot access the setting that allows app installation from unknown sources. Or any security setting for that matter. :S
Please advise on possible work arounds.
None at this point. I think we need H811 M bootstack for a full functioning build.

[Experiment] Root and deep sleep fix marshmallow N928

Note that this is temporary solution to root device. Still available SuperSU doesn't work as it should on latest base PA/PB. Still it is workin as it should on with custom (SELinux Permissive) kernel but for that kernel developers requires source code which samsung have yet not released. Damn, didn't see that the bootloader was updated and I generally never flash it. Anyway, I would like to report that the combination without the bootloader works just fine for now... Don't know if I should flash it now or wait for the next month's update.
EDIT: Flashed the new bootloader just now. Everything still fine! Didn't need to do anything else, recovery and root stayed.

Google Play Music question

Anyone here subscribe to google play music? Apparently you can only deauthorize 4 devices a year. So everytime I flash a rom I'm basically adding a new device. Which I think is up to 10, I'm really not sure. I just had to contact Google and they gave me a 1 time courtesy of removing all my devices because I was unable to add anymore. Is there anyway around this? Thanks

Thanks

I subscribe, and I flash all the time. I never had to reauthorize it.

what i mean is that i normally flaah "dirty", wich means without wiping any of my data, so it makes it across roms fine.

probably not, fepending what google uses to tell what the device is.. i always make a backup in twrp revovery, in case the flash doesnt go well, just in case. but it usyally is fine.
Restore your Android ID with TB and you won't have to authorize any more
Edit: I don't have time to track it down but there is a guide in the general section
2nd edit: here's the link my friends
