Hello,,
i want to buy the ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini. The Online Shop seller from Germany said,, that the ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini is finally rooted. I want to upgrade the phone of the new official ZTE Nubia ROM from the website nubia.cn. The Translation of this site is not so good and I want to know: I have to deactivate the root for the official Upgrade? The Online Shop seller don't give me an answer. My second Question is. When I upgrade the offical ROM, is the ZTE Nubia still rooted? My last question, can I upgrade the official ROM over Wifi (OTA). I hope a ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini user can help me. I do not need custom ROMs. Thx for your help.
The official ROM is V 1.19.

"can I upgrade the official ROM over Wifi (OTA)"?
I have TWRP recovery installed, so I couldn't do the OTA. But it was easy enough to download the rom and use TWRP to install, which is what I've done. I keep my phone rooted.

Hello sfletc,
you said I can Upgrade the ROM about TWRP. Do you can give me a short instruction, how to proceed? I think a problem is, i have to wipe all Data, install the first official Rom (v1.16 I think), Upgrade the newest ROM (v1.19) and make then the root and reinstall the google Services (gapps). Furthermore the chinese Language is the stardard, when I make the upgrade? And when ZTE brings a new version, I have to make the process again. Is this correct? I have only find a spanish instruction and these was very complicated. I want to upgrade the ROM easily and don't want trouble with the upgrade. Thx for your help.
greetings

RAW format Image capture for Nubia Z9 mini????
hi guys,
Since Nubia Z9 Mini runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop version) with latest Camera 2 APIs with Manual control over camera, would like to know if the default Camera App supports Image capturing in RAW format.
Also can we use third party application like Camera FV-5 which supports RAW format image capturing feature in Nubia Z9 mini.
Existing users of Nubia Z9 mini pls. confirm this for me..
Check my Google Drive for Nubia Z9 Mini .. I have English TWRP Recovery and the latest Official ROM with Google services + Root + unwanted Chinese apps removed.
thanks navin

have you proceed? If you dont, just wait. We all want the stock nandroid back up because the stock rom we found - like China, etc has some error on mobile data since bandwidth. If you use twrp, please make a nandroid back up upload it somewhere so we can get back at stock rom. Read the istruction here http://forum.xda-developers.com/and...-nubia-z9-mini-one-click-root-custom-t3130631 and after you install twrp - back up the system before you go any further.
intresting and very fast mod but only chinese lang on apk

First thing you will need to do is to upgrade to Gingerbread. Here is the link on how to install stock rom using odin along with all firmwares and drivers (check the "Preparations" section),
Flash stock rom on Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 using odin
If your PC cannot recognize the phone, its usually the drivers. Once installed, go to recovery mode (Power off and then hold Home+ Power button) and do a wipe data/ factory reset & wipe cache (otherwise bootloop might occur). Then restart. Now you have successfully flashed the stock rom. Here is the link for rooting and installing CWM 5 on Samsung Galaxy Ace,
How To Root and Unroot Samsung Galaxy Ace?
CWM 5.0.2.6 fix for Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830
If you are interested in installing the CM 11 KitKat rom, then you can try KitKat for all by @Salim El Yabouri which can be installed from CWM 5. While all other KitKat rom requires you to have CWM 6 which is kinda unstable. Here is the link,
Kitkat For All
Hope I Helped

Your bootloader is locked by Samsung. You can only flash signed firmwares by Samsung via Odin. You must first unlock your bootloader, then you can start flashing custom ROMs or custom recoveries for your phone. Unfortunately, there are no way to unlock it and there are no custom ROMs or recoveries for SM-G730V yet. This CM11 version on our forum is for the international and Latin American variant (GT-i8190/N/L) only.
And you should know that Odin saved your phone near a soft bricked phone

I think none currently working on it. Very less people using a SM-G730V variant of s3 mini. So I think, no, it will not ever be done.
Thumbs up for being helpful! Though the news sucks
Do I need to root s3 mini in order to flash cm11 with odin?
Also why doesn't odin see my phone?
Hello guys. I managed to flash the cm11 and twrp. The only problem is that i don't like the sms app. Is there a way to get the one that touchwiz had?
i don't think it is as easy as it sounds. you can deactivate stock sms app but i don't think you can easili install a new one...
I installed gosms for now but I want the Samsung SMS app

Dear friends i have installed v3.61 international in my indian z9 mini ,but after that everything running good ONLY ONE PROBLEM IS VIBRATION NOT WORKING even in the keyboard,i haved chacked other upgraded versions upto v4.03 but same problem. When I reverse to stock indian rom it works fine. help me plz
Can I flash Nubia Z9 mini NX511J rom on NX521J ?
Thank you for answer.
no
i try it but it not work
Nx521j rom
For anyone else who hase a Nubia Z9 mini with NX521J installed you can find the stock ROM for it on page 2 of:
XDA won't let me post actual link here as I'm new here, but if you google this NX521J_Z69_EN_KJD0J_V106 then you should find it. The page is in Thai, but click the middle one with the cloud (which says 'download' in Thai) and you'll get the link.
I spent a long long time finding this, was almost ready to give up, so hopefully this will help someone else who may have assumed their Z9 mini had a NX511J ROM as stock, especially when the box it came in said so, but it actually has a NX521J ROM as stock.
This may just be peculiar to Nubia phones in Thailand.
Once flashed the first menu is language, which is in English, so don't fret that you'll be flashing something that boot into Thai language.
how did you flash my phone only goes into qdloader mode now after false flash with nx511j
