How can I start adding a vietnamese language pack to the L90? Please help, I'm new to these type of phone and not sure what to do.
To use Vietnamese keyboard go to Settings > language and input > the little settings icon near LG keyboard (or whatever keyboard you are using) > input language and keyboard layout, and select vietnamese.
To get the system language to change, you go to Language & input and then hit language. However Vietnamese isn't there. Try this though: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wanam&hl=en

I've been hunting this issue on XDA but I've not found a solution, it's the eternal issue of keyboard switcher. I speak several languages, like a lot of people here. It is a royal pain to manually switch from english to french to spanish and back and forth. everytime i want to write in one language i have to change the entire locale.
So far, I found this:
-apowersms (if you go to setting, there is a language filter, which is very interesting because you can choose which language keyboard you need) (and the keyboard layout isn't so bad looking)
- softkeyboard (for the keyboard button, when you press it long, you can directly change to the language you want)
I'm trying to find, how to create a custom shortcut maybe to switch between the languages that I speak. something like this, so that I can switch languages for my gingerbread keyboard.
Does anyone out there have a better solution for my problem. let me know.
thanks
Using stock keyboard, go to the keyboard settings and search for something like "languages". Select the languages you want to use. Now swipe your finger on the space key to switch between the selected languages

Hello,
I've search for answer or anything like that, but didn't find.
Question: is it possible to leave only one language in keyboard popup (for example I'm from Lithuania so I would like to use only lithuanian languge). In keyboard settings there is only lithuanian language selected, but when I'm typing something and long hold on keys which have additional symbols (in lithuanian language) it pops-up with more that just lithuanian symbols. So is it possible to get rid of other symbols and leave only those that should be there?
I have a canadian version of the Note 5 and I want to change the display language
I go to General Management-Language and Input-Language.
There I have some suggested languages and I have the option to add other languages
so I select to add a new language.
For example I select Greek and then I put it at the top.
After that I see that the phone is half translated.
Some of the icons i.e contacts, phone, calendar are translated in Greek but the most important
the Settings is not translated apart 2-3 options.
Just to be sure I delete English and I leave Greek as the only display language and again nothing.
The phone is not fully translated and espeically the settings.
I change the language to German.
I have the same result. Some options in Settings are translated in German but the rest remains in english.
Then I select french.
It seems French is ok. All settings are translated and all basic icons.
Is there a fix for that?
Why do I have half translated display languages?
Do I need to add a special code where the phone will start clean in that particular language?
Hi
How do I change the input language? I have successfully added the second language in system settings but there is no globe on the keyboard to switch to it. Swiping on space also does not work.
Thanks
My android auto keyboard doesn't show the language change button and I have only English qwerty. My phone is Asus Rog Phone 3, I'm using the native keyboard. Even though my phone default language is in english I have my local language set both in the keyboard settings and in the android language settings and still the change language button is missing.
