Installation
Step 1 (Rom)
1. Download Rom and Gapps and put the zips in sd card.
2. Go to recovery (Recommended Recovery)
3. Wipe Data/Factory Reset, Cache, Dalvik Cache.
4. Mount and Format system. (mounts and storage)
5. Flash the Rom.
6. Reboot.
7. Recomend reboot again after 1º boot
Step 2 (Gapps)
1. Go to recovery (CWM/TWRP)
2. Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
3. Flash Gapps
4. Wipe Cache, Dalvik Cache
5. Reboot

Damn smooth rom but gapps not working
Despite the solution you provided in the FAQ the google apps keeps on crashing :crying:...but seriously the rom is very smooth and fast...
I believe this rom is the fastest rom i have used till now...4.2.2 acer's look is also good ...

Slow Scrolling in contacts
Is there some issue in scrolling?
Scrolling in contacts is too slow. feels like a lag.
I think its a phone app issue. will try to install different contacts/dialer app.

Well for some reason all new lollipop roms dev have been advising to use twrp 2.8.5.0.

Rotation bug has been fixed by @scritch007........Maybe you can include that commit in the next build........
Please include the screenshots too........

I saw that rotation bug has been fixed! Due to my low bandwidth it will take more a day or two to implement that change in the rom! I have included screen shots already.. See in the Screen shots tab (This one is XDADB project)!

First of all thankss bro for providing the rom.. Using it on my XT1022... can be used as a daily driver.. But there r few bugs accordng to me..
1. No option to select 2g /3g networks in settings
2.Cant find superuser or root
3.Wifi hotspot not working.. It gives error

Post test report for Paranoid android for xt 1022
Xt 1022, flashed rom using twrp 2.8.5.0.
OP, upload ROM on G Drive as it's faster.
Bugs- Rotation bug present as reported by others.
Didn't experience any force closes as of now. Maybe because I did a clean installation.
Experiencing lags, only sometimes.
Not pre rooted, need to flash super SU.
Rom is very light weight, can be used for daily drivers. Battery performance is adequate as to my usage.

if you want to flash lollipop roms like 'cm12' or 'paranoid android 5.0.2' you should use twrp 2.8.5.0.For kitkat roms any recovery will do.

I installed the rom, but i forgot to swipe when it asked for flashings su zip...any way to root now ?

what the hell man.. i installed cm12 theme...theme got installed properly...when i applied...it rebooted and stucked at boot animation...(for along time) so i want to safe mode, uninstalled the theme , as soon as uninstalled finished...phone rebooted ad stucked at boot animation...i thought mayb system files has been corrupted, so dirty flashed pa rom, still no use...so went to twrp, cleared dalvik cache....n rebooted....then got the screen android is upgrading...the the apps got upgraded in split of a sec or so...again rebooted and stucked at bootanimation! what the hell was that...mayb its problem with theme manager....

No, not really a deal breaker.. It's just that some mods like stereo speaker mod uses aroma installer which CM recovery does not support.. There are other steps I'm aware of to do it.. Manually replacing system files etc.. CWM or TWRP would be a little handy in these cases, that's all..

Rom works really nice. I like all its features. I installed minimal gapps and it's super smooth. The only bug I've noticed so far is navbar dimensions don't work for me. Keep it going...

This is a basic CM 12 Stock 5.1 ROM , just like any other phone.....I am sorry to say i did NOT liked it.
Doesn't even have the SONY UI which is the most imp factor on a beast phone like Xperia Z.....
Rolling back to Existenz 3.5.5...

not working on my Gts6102 phone. nothing change. i follow all instruction

"The application BrcmBluetoothServices (process com.broadcom.bt.app.system) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
after reboot this keeps pop up and doesn't let me click anything else...

Unfortunately Not worked for me. Everything OK up to the step "reboot system now" then nothing happens. Never rebooted again. The screen remains blocked with the brand and model logos for a half hour. The first boot never finish. I have lost my phone.
Any suggestions?

i think that the PACKAGE you installed is not downloaded correctly,because there is nothink like this with any other person . re download it and the try flashing it with correct procedure.

can u go to the recovery.if yes, then try reinstalling the ROM.

i think u have not followed the installing guide properly re install ROM by following the guide provided in the post.GOOD LUCK :good:

I did exactly this step by step 3 times:
--put the ROM in the SD-card.
--go to recovery
--go to cwm recovery
--wipe data,cache,dalvik-cache,system.
--mount system,data,cache,SD card.
--go to install zip
--choose zip from SD card
--install it
--go back
--reboot system now
got the same behavior all the 3 times, sorry

have u ever installed CM 7.2 in your device,if yes and it worked properly then this ROM should also work . u can also try by re-downloading the ROM.
can u please post a video of your phone with installing to booting of the phone,so that i can get a better idea of the problem.

Its is a cm7 based rom and cm7 is not dual sim, not the rom's problem.

I download it correctly. it just chance my boot animation with zombie kernel. And one more thing how to wipe system that you said on you procedure? can you upload a video how to install it correctly

"wipe system" means format system in recovery mode.

Follow XDA rules, Its not recommended to make a thread not mentioning who have worked hard for making this rom so stable for daily using, stylish and cool, learn to mention names in credits, brother @shelowe , @Zane Kilgore , @AuliaYF , @c4lb0r0 and me @raisul2010.5396 put a lot effort to give it pure material design, released updates time to time wasnt that easy for us, I guess you will edit your thread, mention Credits section and wont violate the rules, thank you

Requirement
-Instaled Android 6 (Bootloader and Modem)

Instructions
1) Put the zip file in your SD Card
2) Reboot in Recovery Mode (use Twrp or Philz Recovery)
3) Wipe Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache and format /System (If running Philz Recovery use the "Clean before install a new rom" option)
4) Install the ROM
5) Reboot.
Note: First boot may take a while, that's normal. Once it booted setup your device and reboot again to ensure the full performance of the rom.
Bugs
-Not fully Stable, some time has lag
-On first boot Lag, after some time lag reduced
-Dualsim not work, but Dualsim IMEI detected
-AOD is not working, removed
-BlueLightFilter is not working better to disable it !!
-Edge Feeds and Edge light (disable it at first boot can make phone laggy!!)
-Don't use the resolution changer in settings or smart manager or you need to reflash clean because resolution changes!
-Camera on Potrait icon shifted slightly, note 7 camera features yet disappear in selection mode
-Drawing Photo Studio, snote, screen write not fully working, problem on libs display..

and let my device to test :angel:

On my friends phone , too much battery drain , still very laggy even after few reboots , and no incall ui
