Here is a bootanimation.zip file for users using any of the Unofficial CM ROM's by Mustaavalkosta.
Install into /system/media, make sure permissions are set to rw-,r--,r-- and reboot.
New boot animations for Unofficial CM11, CM12 & CM12.1 for Desire HD / Inspire 4G.
They replace the default bootanimation.zip in /system/media.
Should be flashed in recovery after flashing the ROM, no need to install using a file manager with root access and checking file permissions are correct.
bootanimation-musta.zip has Mustaavalkosta's avatar as the static boot image
bootanimation-cm11.zip has the CM11 logo as the static boot image
bootanimation-cm12.zip has the CM12 logo as the static boot image
CM12 and CM12.1 use the same logo.
Thanx!

Make your spica "look" more i5800 stock by matching your touchwiz launcher with the i5800 shutdown screen converted as a boot animation for the spica. Two recovery update zip files are included in the package (SDM_i5800boot-package):
SDM_i5800bootanimation is a recovery zip file containing the modified boot animation.
SDM_i5800bootlogo contains the stock boot logo of the i5800 to make the boot process look more seamless from logo to animation.
Apply both or any of the zips under recovery.

thanks a lot man.
Hey everyone,
I'm trying to install the Honeycomb Hybrid - RC1 from the developer's section onto my Nook.
I've flashed a bunch of different ROMs on my Nook, Evo, and GTab, so I think I'm doing this right. I downloaded the .zip file and booted into recovery. Format Cache, System, Data, then flash the ZIP.
It says everything was successful and when I reboot I get the Cyanogen splash screen (coming from Nightly 99) then the screen blanks out. I have to manually power down the Nook and reboot into recovery.
Am I missing a step somewhere?
Thanks.
After reading the Dark ParanoidAndroid 2.54 ROM Nexus 7 thread, I've discovered that I wasn't the only one having the problem of being stuck at the all too familiar Google boot logo. Being the flashaholic that I am, I've decided to take it amongst myself to see if I could resolve the issue of being stuck during the boot sequence.
I made my Dark ParanoidAndroid 2.54 ROM work by taking the htop, Isof, and powertop files from ParanoidAndroid 2.54 ROM zip file and adding them to the /system/xbin/ folder within Dark ParanoidAndroid 2.54 ROM zip file. Then I proceeded to do the same with the /system/lib/modules/ folder from ParanoidAndroid 2.54 ROM zip file too.
So the 3 files that I've mentioned before and the modules folder was missing from the recent release of Dark ParanoidAndroid 2.54 ROM zip file. I'm not sure if this makes a difference or not but the last thing I've done to have a working copy... I've replaced the boot.img with a copy of franco-r25 latest release by renaming franco's boot-r25.img to just boot.img and placing it in the zip file where the original Dark ParanoidAndroid 2.54 boot.img once occupied.
Hello,
I'm running a rooted Lollipop 5.0.1 ("LRX22C.WW_epad-V12.14.1.17_20150713 044030454_201502120108") on my ASUS MemoPad 7 (ME572C) (WiFi + LTE) and I'd like to install the "Xpose for Lollipop" framework to it.
Therefore I downloaded the necessary files ("XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk" and "xposed-v72-sdk-x86.zip"). Installation of the apk was no problem, but I ran into problems when trying to install the zip. It seems that I only can install it via a custom recovery like CWM or TWRP. And to install one of this it's presupposed to have an unlocked bootloader. But I learned that it is currently impossible to unlock the bootloader officialy.
So I tried the following to install the zip without having a custom recovery:
tried the apps "Flashify (for root users)" and "[ROOT] Rashr - Flash Tool" without success. Flashify reports to have installed the zip but when I opened a file browser to check if the files were copied into the system folder or its subfolders they were not copied. And Rashr just installs zips when a custom recovery is installed
tried to copy the zip contents manually to the system folder and its subfolders with my "TotalCommander" file browser without success because writing access to that folder were denied
tried to copy the zip contents manually to the system folder and its subfolders with the root file browser of my "ROM Toolbox Pro". I was able to copy the files, but after restart it seems that the Memo Pad is stuck in a boot loop AFTER displaying the INTEL logo
Now I'm of the opinion, that I need to install a custom recovery. But how do I do that without unlocking the bootloader? There must be a way because I saw articles in the internet saying that they have flashed such a recovery but don't telling how.
Is there someone who can tell me how I do that?
