SD Card on lollipop, rooted with Xposed - Galaxy Note 4 General

So now that we have xposed on lollipop, I was hoping we would be able to get external SD card support working, unfortunately I can't get apps to write to it for the life of me. Neither wanam, xinternalsd, external storage handler, nor KitKat SD fixer seem to be working. However, this seems to be working just fine: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nextapp.sdfix

ask the developers to update their apps.
extsdcard access has been re-enabled by Google, but apps need to request permission.
FX File explorer and dropsync are 2 examples of apps that have been properly updated and will request write permission, they have full access to the memory card without requiring root.

How did you manage to get xposed working?
I have a the N910F on lollipop, could you perhaps give me some information
Thanks

i see Wanam xposed is out for lollipop would give that a go use to love using it on the S5

the culprit is the kit kat disable the write to sd card function and i believe you have change the storage of the recorded call to external sd card. You can solve this by changing the storage back to internal storage.
Else, since you have root access you can solve this by installing sdcard fix from playstore...

If u mean the sdfix for write access, its no longer needed since first lollipop version
Of course it is needed even with Lollipop. Foulder Mount or Titanium Backup cant use SD1 without.
Fixed it with Xposed and HandleExternalStorage Module!

Rooted Xperia Z3C can NOT move apps to SD card

I am bewildered. Hope someone can help me with this issue.
Moving apps to SD card on Kitkat can only be accomplished on a rooted device, many posts say in these forums.
However, I am on a kitkat rooted device and I cannot move apps to SD card, by no means.
First off, in Settings-->Apps-->MyApp there isn't a "move to SD" button. Not for any of my +30 installed apps.
I have tried:
1.- Two different patches for this Kitkat problem (like SD Fix), but none of them work. They report that my device 'doesn't need to be fixed', or is already fixed, yet I can't move apps to my SD card. Indeed I can read/write, store pics, etc. But no apps can be moved to the card.
2.- App-manager applications (like Gemini), but they can't move my apps to SD card either. I get an error "no space left on card" (needless to say it's not true).
3.- Manual fix, successfully editing the famous platform.xml file. Yet, no apps can be moved to my SD card.
Question.- Am I doing something wrong, or rather I've wrongly understood that a rooted kitkat can accomplish moving apps to card?
Additional info: I was on Lollipop (23.4.A.1.200) and I've downgraded to Kitkat (23.1.A.1.28) in order to (successfully) root the device without unlocking. On Lollipop I didn't experience this issue.
Thank you in advance for any help.
N.B.- Before any moderator yells at me: I have done a lot of searching on these forums and I haven't found an identical problem like mine. But sorry if there is and I didn't see it.

Apps don't have access to an external SD card?

Hello!
I own the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (with stock Android 5.02) and programs such as uTorrent cannot save on the external SD card. Do I have to give extra write permissions to the apps? The apps can read only I think.
The tab is not rooted so far.
Did you try Stickmount ??
Look for sd card fix on play. You need to be rooted.
SD Fix KitKat writable USB worked for me.

Apps like Root Explorer and others that support Lollipops write access will prompt you to select the drive it will have permission to. If the app doesn't then, its outdated and wont access it. It has to do with the write permission that Google removed.

It's dysfunctional in lollipop. Only really works in MM.
WRITE permissions can be obtained globally as said by applying the sd fix.

As the op states, he is not rooted. So only apps that can ask for permission to use the SD card will.

He stated 'Yet' and it becomes obvious that root is required when downloading the Sd card fix and I already stated it requires root in my previous post.
If he wants global freedom to write to the sd card then that's the road to take.

Well that is a no brainer. Having root allows for all things to work but sacrifice security. I personally do not root anymore. My main apps, Root Explorer-MX Player-PLay Movies work with the MicroSD after a the permission was given.
Hopefully when MM comes we can have the option to adopt the extra storage and move on from this night mare

Adopted storage brings it's own issues. I for one don't use it as its implementation affects access to the sd card through custom recovery and other platforms.
However write access permissions are now much improved and any app can obtain these permissions if the user allows.
As regards security when rooting, it doesn't have to be a risk. It's up to the user to be aware of what rooting is and how to use it.
Root can still be Selinux aware. It's up to the user to ensure what they do with their device is safe.
I for one feel my device is more secure with root as *I* have control over my device not what the manufacturer decides.
I will take measures to protect myself if required.
Even some of the apps I use to protect myself need root.
The benefit of root to me personally far outweighs any perceived security issue.

a way to the root? On a AN1 watch with Android 4.1.1

i could not root my phone an1 watchphone , i tried mobogenie, kingo root, 1-click-root and so on.
It just has 250MB internal storage so that i can give up to have a messenger and email, radio and so on.....
When i move from internal to sd some apps, there is always up to 10MB per App left and now i deleted GOOGLE SERVICES except for Play Store.
Before i used Link2sd on an Samsung , that worked, but this i CANT ROOT!
Can anybody held me?
SD SWAP also needs root and Android up from Kitkat (4.4, i think).

1st this is the thread for Xposed not rooting your device
That being said after I did a simple search on Google, people have reviewed it here on XDA and are saying it's already rooted, just no supersu app, so just install supersu apk (sideload) and you should be OK.
