[Q] which rom/karnel is best and why ? - Android One (First-Generation) Cross-Device Genera

I am confused to choose which ROM is batter ,so help me and other to choose best ROM .

Use pac rom lp if you want customization and xposed
use cm12.1 if you want stable and clean rom
and for battery life use bb8.5 or tz it's your choice
but i recommend using black box

I m on lollipop 5.1 with mods and xposed modules working greatly.. So not tried other roms but as for kernel, i tried TZ, B Box upto 8.5, but cody kernel is best...seeming good battery backup

Which is the most stable custom rom?

Hi everybody,
i want to flash a new custom rom on my girlfriends galaxy ace.
She always mentioned, that her phonememory is full.
So i thought, that i can flash a slim and stable custom rom.
So i come to my question:
Which is the most stable and slim custom rom for her device?
Every all-day-using apps should work.
Best regards

Try stocklite. I have used it (v6) for quite some time and seems to suit your needs.
All custom roms are good and stable...
Try Apocalypse, you won't have any other rom
I'd say it's StockLite or S'perience.
I don't like the CM-based Roms, since I never had one that came even close to the battery-life of a stock-Rom.

Try Miracle v4 or Apocalypse based on CM7 (for many features)
or
StockLite based on Samsung firmware (for best battery life)
Myth2 or Apocalypse Final
Use any barebone ROM. What exactly are the everyday apps?
Since u ask that question [which is the most stable rom?] ... u should not even try because it's obviously u have no experience in flashing roms and i very recommand u to let the phone on stock rom.
Before flash it, be sure that u can fix bugs (if there are any) save data if she needs.
Stay on stock !
Man i miss the report button!!
Don't be a noob. Be a newbie..!!
Details here.

Only Way is buddy, is rooting the device & use scripts && Link2SD , Best way to stay stock and just Learn before going into the deep end.
Also install The CWM Recovery.

With CM7, you should use APOCALYPSE
With a ROM base stock, SII or The Myth very good for you :good:
Adrenaline rom is also not bad...Been using it for months and never fails me...

Well I would recommend you the Asylum ICS rom in CM9 base or if u want the AOKP go ahead with my rom Half-Illusion
Both are light and fast
Also can try the Paranoid Android rom if you want custom app dpi.
Above all roms are AOSP and doesn't include any samsung features!
Kernel comes with the custom rom. U can flash newer versions of kernel from the kernel repository link in my siggi.
BOOMED from my BOMBASTIC NOTE
Depends what features you are looking for,
If you're just looking for something smooth and stable and close to Stock (With Samsung Apps etc) then check out the ICS ROM CleaNote which comes bundled with the Dev's own kernel.
If you're not bothered about the Spen apps etc then I'd say give Paranoid Android a go..
It's personal preference really, Just have a read through the threads in the Dev section, Most of them have screenshots or a video showing features and installation method..
But, as You're on Stock ICS at the moment, be careful and DO NOT Wipe / Factory Reset on a STOCK ICS Kernel.
Cheers

As u said u ve been rooted y dont u try removing sum non essential apps from Titaniun Backup or Root Explorer App from Play Store as i truely recommend u dont try ant custom rom as non of rom r stable as in sum point....stock is stable and u dont lose ur s-pen apps as well....
but if u really curious den go for custom stock rom wid sum sort of tweaks done.....
First backup efs to multiple locations, use dr ketans tool thread to find out how

Speed and stability
Speed and stability depend both on rom as well as kernel.. most of the sammy based custom roms use notecore these days which is also my personal favorite:good:

Help me choosing a ROM, efficient, stable and good looking

Hi there,
I'm a proud owner of a galaxy ace and i found the vodafone stock rom too boring, slow, and the battery only lasts 1 day, so i've installed one 2.3.6 that i've found on sam firmwares website and it looks the same stock rom but i dont know why, the battery starts lasting 3-4 days |). However i was curious about cyanogenmod and i've installed the 7.2 nightly (last version), but the battery only lasts half a day-1 maximum, and i dont like the sms, phone and contacts app.
So i'm thinking about install the cyanogen 7.2 stable version or searching a new ROM, but as i dont know any other reliable, efficient, stable, without bugs and with a modern theme like ics. Can someone help me please?
PS: The ROM must have portuguese language support.
Thanks,
Best regards,

Thanks a lot for your help!!
I've decide that i've gonna try the radonmod 2.5 fat, and if i dont like i'll go to the cm7.2 stable and if the battery problem remains, i'll go for the vodafone 2.3.6 S5830XWKT6. I've a doubt. I've installed the last ROM once with odin, can i install it by cwm?
Stock firmwares with odin, this will be your baseband.
Custom with cwm, some require a specific baseband, which is mentioned in the rom's thread, otherwise any baseband will do.
search for stocklite it has gr8 battery backup
And CyanogenMod 7.2 Official also has a good battery life

Choose among these:
Stocklite V7 - latest Vesion - few bugs
Adrenaline Final - almost no more bugs (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538245)
Myth V2
Only Stock based roms can help u with extended battery life.

What you recommend me?

Hi guys! What rom and kernel you recommend me for best performance/graphics in gaming(Gta 3 etc.)?
Go reading around. There are hundreds of topics about this.
I can recommend PACman beta 6.0 flash that one first and then flash 6.1 over it. Great ROM, no UI glitch, nice battery life even with gaming.

Using stock deodexed DDULP8 firmware (Deodexed and Debloated) along with CoCore kernel with Clockworkmod Recovery. No issues here, everything works smooth. :good:
p.a.c-man beta 6.1.
seems to be almost free of bugs (only been using it since yesterday so i canĀ“t be sure), and the speed is up to par with gb roms.

[Q] Will I have better performace with some of KK ROMs instead of STOCK ROM?

Hi, question is already in title: Will I have better performace with some of KK ROMs instead of STOCK ROM?
I am looking for some ROM which will have better performance than stock one (it's mostly the only reason why I want to flash some (CM) rom) because currently I have quite a lot of lags on the stock ROM. Thx for answers
