So I've been having an issue with my screen rotation (gyro) lately. I cannot recall when it started but here's what happens. I got my s5 with 4.4.2 and ran XDK fine, no issues. Then I upgraded to 5.0 using muniz method and everything worked fine. At some point I flashed alliance 8.0 and at some point using that rom, my gyro stopped working. I tried downgrading to NCE from muniz thread and the rotation works fine through the setup and then once the homescreen appears, no more gyro. I can upgrade to 5.0 and it will work normal through the setup, but once again, when the home screen appears, no more gyro, then won't work until I downgrade to 4.4.2. Any thoughts? What gets me is that it works fine through the setup, but once the homescreen shows, it stops...

touch screen on milestone stopped working right after downgrade from CM7 to 2.1 or even 2.2 and now when i try to go back to cm7 i get this weird bootloop
I've got a similar issue, but not permanently. I'm using stock froyo and for some reason touchscreen is not working or working improperly after turning on screen from lock. I need to wait a couple of seconds, turn on the screen once more and most of the time it's fine. Any advice?
both of you,
format your SD CARD/PARTIONS when you are downgrading.
some files from previous ROMS can be affecting the STOCK ROM functionality when it starts fresh after fresh install.
happened to me a couple a times,
just reinstalling (properly) solves this issue.
So I have an issue where I try to toggle on my Wi-fi and it stays stuck on "Wifi turning on." I've done a few factory resets and it seems to fix it for about a day but it just breaks right after that. When I select the option in the quick settings bar, the icon appears as a faded grey-ed out color and stays that way for a long time and can't find any networks.
A little bg info: I bricked my phone with safestrap while accidently writing over the default boot slot and then resurrected it with an sm-n900a 4.4.2 rom and the latest version of Odin. Everything works fine except for the wi-fi. Worked fine for about 3 days and then broke. I've tried resetting and not enabling auto-configure for wifi and also I've disabled the auto network switch option. I am out of ideas.
Try reflashing the stock firmware using the 4 Odin files here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2838117
This will erase internal memory and give you a complete refreshed 4.4 stock rom. You can then root, safestrap, etc....
If you have Wi-Fi trouble after flashing the stock files you may have hardware issues.
I see my problem. The files I was using before were of an earlier version. Without knowing exactly how to search for the 4.4 Odin files, I couldn't fix it. Hopefully this fixes it. Thank you very much for pointing me in the right direction!
I recently updated my HTC One M7 from Android KITKAT to lollipop via OTA.. Before the update my wifi/Bluetooth are both working fine, at the first few hours after the update, my phone seems to work just fine then suddenly my wifi/Bluetooth are not turning ON, phone restarts randomly and stuck to the HTC One logo page. I search the web and follow the idea of rebooting to safe mode, rebooting to recovery clear cache/partitions and hard reset my phone many times but none of these works. I decided to revert back to kitkat (RUU) but still no working wifi and Bluetooth. I even tried to run the jelly bean which I believe is the original version when I first bought the phone, to my frustration, I STILL DON'T HAVE A WORKING WIFI/BLUETOOTH. Any solution?
Title says all, i have already re-flashed and checked the md5 to make sure it wasn't a bad flash...
I wish i would have backed up my original BL ever since i flashed the OA1 BL i have had screen flickering issues and have to push my power button 5 to 12 times in a row to tun the screen ON from waking up..
The screen will flicker really bad when i set it to low dim but bump it up and it works fine.. When i'm actually using the phone it works flawless no screen issues but run into trouble every single times when i try to turn the screen ON from a wake.
That's why i believe it's not a hardware issue. it's something in the firmware not working correctly in my revision model of the g900a.
Can i please get some new boot loaders to try out that someone might have???
I will try anything at this point i really need some help!
Bootloader Version:
G900AUCU2AOA1
Specs: G900A / Kit Kat 4.4.2 Stock
Thank you a lot,

I upgraded my C6J6 to the latest Mirek v7 ROM and it had been working fine except the camera until yesterday, the touchscreen completely stopped working. Mine does not come with Windows, I only use Android. I flashed the BIOS to 2.02 and reinstalled ROM again, but still the same issue.
Is this a hardware or software issue? Anyone can help? Thanks!
Welcome to the club. No solution yet :/
