You can achive something like that with Chroma ROM it works out of the flash (the box jaja) in portrait and landscape. If you have xposed you can use Gravity Box to enlarge the NavBar by 15% but only works in portrait mode.

Issues running app's with root permision

Hi there,
I Installed SuperSU 2.36 using TWRP (following the process in Nexus Root Toolkit app) and it looks fine but when I'm trying to run some app with root permisions like XMODgames or GameKiller the root permission screen appear and I select Allow (Permitir) but when the app is trying to run some game it say No Root access... I saw the register into Supersu (even I bought the Pro Version) and it show error: only position independent executables (PIE) are supported...
I verified the root permission with Root Checker App and it looks fine as rooted... even I tried successfully to re-install Supersu and update the binary and everything looks fine but all the app's that are asking root permission (and I already granted) does not work. the register show the same error message about PIE on each app...
I have a Nexus 7 (wifi 2013) with 5.0 LRX21P compilation...
Could you please help me to fix this?
Thanks in advance!
Those app are not supporting Lollipop yet. Contact their developers, this is not fault of SuperSU.

Seeder app problem with CM13's native root

I already granted root access to Seeder app (for extra smoothness) but it still says like I didn't grant it root access when I tap the ON switch. Anybody encountered this as well? (see attached picture)
I am currently using CM13 Snapshot-sprout8, stock kernel.
Try flashing supersu

Same here. Trying supersu.zip
Edit
Still not working

[MOD]Remove Navigation Bar for Android N DP4

You will need to ROOT the Nexus 6P (Android N DP4) so that you can make the required changes to the build.prop file. *NOTE: This process will work on systemless root
Nexus 6P Disable Navigation Bar
1. Download the Build Prop Editor Application
2. Launch the Build Prop Editor App
3. If Prompted, Let the Application Have Root Access via SuperSU
4. Tap the Pencil Icon at the Bottom(or the 3-dot menu at the top right and then tap on edit)
5. Scroll All the Way Down to the Bottom of the Build.Prop File
6. Create a New Line at the End of the File
7. Then Type or Paste the Following Text. . .
8. " qemu.hw.mainkeys = 1 "
9. Then Press the Save/Disk Icon at the Top Right
10. If Prompted, Grant Root Access to the Application Again
11. Wait for the ‘Build Prop Saved’ Toast Message to Appear at the Bottom

Navbar Replacement Apps:
-Swipe Navigation
-GMD GestureContol Lite
FYI - Using this method also disables Google now...
I would be suggest removing navigation bar using the layers loophole used by swipe navigation

Does "Swipe navigation" trick work on Android N ? Any other ways to do it on nougat ?

No it does not. I'm also looking for an alternate method. Had it running for awhile on Nougat official release, but if I accidentally long-pressed on any of my Swipe Navigation attempts, it would stop working and I'd be stuck in whatever app I was using. Having to shut down and reboot to get home is not ideal.
it removes the navbar but it also breaks my camera. suggestions?
edit; I fixed it using this mod I only had assistant enabled in the aroma installer http://forum.xda-developers.com/one...r-pixel-launcher-t3492677/page27#post70291365

I see you too had this issue on your moto x style , of the two zip's given which one should I use for my stock 7.0 x style
This methode use to work on my phone prior of Android O. But it completely break my system if when I tried on O DP1-2-3. It wont let me rebooting at all, goes directly in recovery and have to reflash system. I know the thread is concerning N and not O but wondering if anyone would have advise
Is there any other way of removing the nav bar ? I tried substratum to set the size to 0 but that won't work either
You can use a custom ROM, like Pure Nexus.

Immersive mode is one way of doing it but I personally hate it. Swiping the bottom of the screen will bring back the nav bar. When hidden the keyboard won't show. Plus it still doesn't give you back the screenestate, it is simply replaced with a black bar.
Custom ROM like Pure Nexus have the option because they are running N. The build prop mod use to work prior of O. Hope there will be a way of getting rid of that nav bar ! #givemebackpie

Ok, that's personal taste, I do prefer immersive with transparent navbar.
does it also work on Oreo
Currently my nexus 6P is running Oreo, I use the root explorer to add qemu.hw.mainkeys = 1 on Build Pro File, but it turned out bad, my whole system collapsed and I have to reflash the OS. Will this app work in Oreo? Many thanks.
Worked for z5 premium dual 6833 nougat 7.1.2 mokee. and stock sony 7.1.1 different firmwares.
Tnx
This method does not apply to my cell phone,android7.0,EMUI 5.0.1 OS。

[ONEPLUS 3] [HOW-TO] Change the DPI on OxygenOS

On OxygenOS we can't change the DPI via build.prop or via APP on the PlayStore flawlessly.
A way is to use ADB SHELL or TERMINAL EMULATOR.
Just type:
-> adb shell wm density DPI && adb reboot if you use ADB
-> wm density DPI (after that reboot the device) if you use terminal emulator
where DPI stands -> the number you want to set.
e.g: adb shell wm density 400 && adb reboot / or / wm density 400
To reset the DPI: just type adb shell wm density 480 && adb reboot / or / wm density 480
P.S: "It helps also for anyone how use systemless root (e.g SuperSu 2.78 SR4) and for OxygenOS beta 7 (no space left problem)"
NO ROOT NEEDED
That's not true - I've changed the DPI using Le DPI changer, using the edit build prop option

Try to reset it, after you put a DPI such as 400. =)
It not gonna stick after the first change.
When I used that app... I messed up my system.
My "option" is also for everyone who haven't some "room-space" on the system partition!

If you have root access it's far easier to delete apps from the system partition than use a method like this.
Not to mention you'll need to make space on the system partition anyway to use other mods

I think it's going to be a discussion :silly:...
Just to clarify:
if you use Systemless root + Le DPI Changer => you can't reset to the original DPI
you can use this method without root (so if you want to remain stock with locked bootloader => you can use this method to change your DPI)
I hope it's more clear now. =)
Sadly the terminal method doesn't work if you're not rooted, it spits out smth about permissions.
Why not just use build.prop editor? Using ro.sf.lcd_density=400 ?
Works perfect every time.

Please don't spread false information ... Manually changing value in build.prop DOES WORK.
I've been doing it since I bought the phone (on release) with every OOS version and never had any problems with it.

I use Root Essentials. It works.

Hide Navigation Bar?

Is there anyway to hide the navigation bar in any app? I'm on the global rom for the US.
install fluid navigation from play store and follow the instruction to enable it

Thanks, I installed it but it says it requires root to hide the navigation bar. Is there a way to hide without rooting my device?

Use navigation gesture app from xda google it.
But you need pc to run the adb command which will be prompted by the app...
Once the command is executed grant permission as required.
Root is not required...
Then you can hide the navigation bar and also can use the navigation gesture..
Enjoy !!!
I'm a little new to ADB. I have my red magic 3s in USB debugging mode but when I shift right click in the ADB folder and type ADB devices, powershell doesn't recognize the command. Do I need to download the Nubia USB driver first?
I finally figured it out! This is still much better now! I also bought the pro version of fng. It works great! Thanks again for the recommendation!
