A little help with upgrating my P7 to MY-Rom 3.3 , or any B609 Based Room it seems.

Dear everyone.
I am not a noob now, but i can't seem to upgrade my phone to any rom based on B609.
I rooted my phone as early as i got it out of the box last summer, by that time only one rom was avaiable, MiUi, but it was still under development to i went back to the stock rom.
I then flashed the recovery to the stock recovery that was b122 based i think.
Problems started when i wanted to do the automatic upgrades on the stock rom, they would download, but the would fail upon instalation.
So i decided to follow My-Rom 3.3 Instalation guide and in fastboot mode i flashed recovery b609 , then flashed recovery CWM
Neither recovery's were avaiable if i pressed vol+ and Power , CWM recovery would just hang on huawei logo and reboot after a minute or so.
I then reflashed TWRP recovery, and flashed the MyRom 3.3 , my phone stoped booting into android.
So in a act of dispair i flashed Material-One (all of this last two steps using TWRP) just to have a working android device in the meanwhile.
What am i doing wrong? My current setup is: Material-one, twrp recovery, and this is an L10 Huawei P7

Hi,
Flash the stock emui 3.0 recovery and install B609 with the three button methode (if this fails you may have to flash first emui 2.3 recovery and then B133). Now you should flash cwm and install MyRom.
So twrp works only together with emui 2.3 and cwm with 3.0.. I think this should work..

Thanks, i have been reading that most people want to downgrade from EMUI 3.0 to 2.3 would you say that it's better for me to stick to my current kernel?

Hm, to my mind emui 3.0 is much better than 2.3.. So there are some people wanting to downgrade, but the majority doesn't. Maybe look at some screenshots and decide whether to update or not to. But I would suggest to try it out

If you're still on EMUI 2.3, the only compatible TWRP is version 2.8.1.0. If you're on EMUI 3.0 use TWRP 2.8.7.0. Once in recovery delete ALL DATA by typing YES. From there you should be able to flash stock recovery and do a force-update of the ROM in question.

my huawei ascend P7-L10 firmware is P7-L07 android 4.4.2,i wan to flash back P7-L10 android 5.1?
i have try force upgrade always fail. i can't use the sp-flash tools because i didnt have the 'scatter-loading' file
how to flash it ? can any one help me please !!
any zip or rar for me to download ? thx:crying::crying:

Maybe you are just trying to flash a wrong firmware?

Is your current rom based on emui 2.3 or 3.0?
If 3.0: Flash any B6xx based custom rom (e.g. MyRom 3.3 or the B609.zip somebody posted a while ago) through twrp/cwm, then flash the stock emui 3.0 recovery and force an update with the normal B609/B621 using the three-button-methode.
If 2.3: do the same, but choose MyRom 1.2, stock emui 2.3 recovery and B133.

Do you remember what firmware you have??? Download fullOta-mf-pv only update.zip and extract update.app then use huawei extractor to extract system.img and if you have twrp 3.1.1.1 you can flash system.img using this twrp but this twrp it's for emui 5.0 if you don't have emui 5.0 use adb and fastboot to flash system.img

Yes i've emui 5.0 but TWRP version 3.0.3

I've a huawei P9 with FRomFuture Rom.
The current version is EMUI 4.1 Android 6.0
Recovery TWRP
I would like to back to official ROM or install new Rom (Based on Nougat version)
But i don"t know how to.
I've tried with dload but i don't have sdcard.
Can you help me please ?

download the stock rom suited for your device model and unzip the update.zip and copy the UPDATE.APP on your dload folder (you can create if you dont have)
and then turn off your device and press all three buttons (power, up and down volume buttons)
and wait for it to finish flashing the rom.
check also if your Bootloader is still unlock or not. :good:

I've tried this but update stuck at 5%.
Bootloader is unlocked maybe it's the cause or because update.app is on local memory not on external card ?

Install Stock EMUI on Huawei P9

Hello Guys,
I had installed a costum rom on my Huawei P9, but now I want to install stock EMUI.
I unlocked my bootloader
Intalled TWRP and flash custom rom...
Now I tried flash stock rom via dload but it does not work
If I want to flash the UPDATE.APP from the official Huawei Support (Android 6.0, EMUI 4.1.1, C432B182 Western Europe) appears a failure while flashing Cust.img and while flashing System.img, why?
Then I unzip UPDATE.APP via Huawei Update Extractor and flashed Boot.img, Recovery.img, System.img via fastboot mode (Cust.img was not found in the UPDATE.APP) (Firmware Finder a Full OTA EVA-L09C432B393)
And now what should I do, my P9 does not boot?
Did I forgot something?

I would say you have to rollback to MM with the official downgrade package then with dload burn a full MM ROM if you get the full B136 then you can run the updates... Or try a full b182
