Well that's weird no one want to get rid of his EFS , How ever you can clear EFS via Odin You will find option above The log ,
But MAKE SURE U BACK THE EFS UP FIRST .

open titanium backup.click the tick mark on the top right corner. it will ope anothr page.there u can select ur desired actio.if u want to back up ur downloaded apps den click run then select the apps u want 2 bakup.

Nandroid backup back up kernel too, TB don't do that. It backup apps and its data.

where is nv_data.bin?

Hi,everyone i need help in finding nv_data.bin file i need to edit it because I'm facing null imei problem i looked in /efs but there is no such file
I looked another s3 mini efs folder it also don't have such file but that phone is working normally i think it is hidden.help me out

i don't know either but you could try searching in a root file explorer app. Just check file explorer apps in playstore, I think es-explorer is kinda good and has root function.
In the explorer, just select the "/" (base folder) and then use the search function
i think it is gone any idea to restore it?

i don't have such a file (searched with Root Browser), but my phone is working fine
It means s3 mini don'nt uses such any file but where is imei located

nope i don't have such file, but note: my phone is demaged right now too, i have super bad signal in houses!
I also looked my sister's s3 mini it also doesn't have any such file but phone is working the question sets that where is imei located

i heard imei is in "efs", but what exactly this means, i don't know
This is the real problem if we find out where is imei we can restore it without any problem

Did you search and try things out of the other threads according to simmilar issues?
Other things involves mostly restoring nv data which our phone doesn't supports also I found a method but it requires to *#7284# qualcomm usb setting option which doesn't appears when I try to dial that code

If you've an old nandroid with efs backup then you could flash it, but i think you don't have right.. ?

If you had a nandroid (made before this problem occured) you could have restored your whole system to the point when it has been working I'll look into it and post here if I find smth

You could try to flash this repair firmware, it contains a lot of files!

I will donate for help! No mobile network signal, read details.

I have international lte s3 and i had stock 4.1.2 software on it and i decide to flash stock 4.3 with odin, i flashed few diferent stock roms 4.3 and all of them works apart from mobile carrier signal. It keep flashing no service after 2 second teying to find signal(no bars) and back to no service and over and over again. Any solution?

Anyway, I think you lost your efs partition. Does your phone shows IMEI number? If it doesn't, check out the sticky thread and read more on the efs/ IMEI section. It might help you. Cheers!

Same thing after flashing, now i turned off lte/wcdma/gsm i switched to wcdma/gsm and it get signal but when i reboot phone is comeback to no service/searching

When you reboot, try switching it completely off. Take out battery and turn it on.
You should also check with your carrier if the sim is 4G sim as many sim cards need to be changed for 4G.

Need help with messaging after odin

So I rooted my s5 then after having some issues decided to go back to complete stock. The problem im having is that before I rooted I was able to do a quick responce to a text without having to open the messaging app and now after root and odin back to stock I have to open the app. Any help would be great full.

Just rooting alone, and not doing any modifications or running rooted apps messed up your phone, right?
No I had rooted to do the download booster mod but didnt in the end cause I use isis and when I couldnt use It decided to do a odin refresh flash back to stock
