[Q] Stuck during convertion to GE 4.3

Hi there,
I recently fully converted my HTC one to GE (4.2.2) referring to this Thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2358781). I somehow didn't manage to OTA to 4.3 so I downloaded the 4.3 RUU and flashed them. After this the common camera bug appeared and ich flashed back the old 4.2.2 RUU from the same thread. After doing this I read relocking bootloader will enable OTA from 4.2.2 to 4.3 so I did this resulting in no OTA + beeing unable to unlock bootloader again. Here is the Error message. Does anyone have an idea for newbies like me?

I used the fastboot oem unlock method.
I just figured it out somehow
I flashed the 4.3 RUU again then did the oem unlock and it worked. I think the problem was that hboot, radio etc. came from the 4.3 RUU but I "downgraded" with the 4.2.2 RUU.
At least I got it working with this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2390249) using CWM but sadly it's not a full convertion

Altough I read it is possible to fully convert with the 4.2.2 RUU and OTA update to 4.3 with no bugs I couldn't get it working. If you are planing on writing a tutorial I can contribute the "how-not-to-do" parts.

[SOLVED]Unable to unlock my bootloader

Here's my problem.
I've originally S-OFF my phone, Super CID afterwards. A week ago i sent my phone to warranty so made the humongous mistake to S-ON it.
Of course S-OFF didn't work again on 1.44 so i flashed some Asian RUU, S-OFF didn't work either(still 1.44 bootloader).
This is the time when i started considering unlocking my bootloader. Big surprise, the procedure completes successfully, i select yes, the phone reboots but the bootloader stays locked.
I applied the Dev Edition RUU, HBOOT 1.55 same problem.
Any solutions?
The solution is to restore your original CID

However, it's stange, which cid do you have now?

I started with 1.29.401.11 then RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.29.707.3_R_Radio_4A.14.3250.13_10.33.1150.01_release_311678_signed and the latest was RUU_M7_UL_JB43_SENSE50_MR_BrightstarUS_WWE_3.22.1540.1.

If you try to reflash the first ruu you said, you can flash it or you've an error?

Are you using an old token? I recommend getting a new token from HTCdev, and try again to unlock.
But you still have a problem of being S-On and SuperCID, you will not be able to change that even if you unlock bootloader again. revone will only work with hboot 1.44.

I did get a new token about 7 times. It's not the problem i think.
I am convinced i can't get S-OFF for the moment but at least i wish i could unlock the bootloader.

Could be because of SuperCID. I know that the unlock token is tied to your CID as well as other things, but thought if you got a new one it could work.
And with 1.54/1.55 there is no way to get s-off at the moment, unless you can find someone with a Java Card.

This is the only logical explanation that i can found.

Yes i was unlocked and had s-off in the past
I had to return it to stock for warranty to change the camera and it came back.
I want to unlock back now and cant.

So, after the flash of the unlock_code your bootloader won't be unlocked?

After i flash the Unlock_code.bin i get this result:

Next step is for disclaimer to pop up on phone screen but it doesnt.. it just remains on the hboot screen.

Most comments are right - it doesn't work for 4.4; you'll get the following error:

Unlocking the bootloader at htcdev.com is only for HTC One's running Sense UI, NOT for GPE HTC One's.

if its a gpe all you need to do is
get your adb/fastboot working on your comp
the unlock the boot loader using "fastboot oem unlock"
flash recovery in fastboot
get the supersu flashable zip and flash it in recovery
after that you will have root
advice for you as well is try to s-off asap to prevent any headaches later on..

Help to unlock bootloader HTC One Google Play Edition

I just received an HTC One GPE. It comes with 4.2.2; because of that, I cannot using fastboot with Windows 8.1. Then I let the OTA update to 4.4.2, then I use the command "fastboot oem unlock" but it gives me these error:

you should have done some homework before updating to 4.4(.x) -> "fastboot oem unlock" no longer seems to work.
since you have a functioning ROM, you could look into firewater to S-Off

As far as I know S-OFF requires the devices to be rooted, but I cannot grant any root access from now without unlock the bootloader

Thank you. However, the temp-root does not work. I am downloading the stock 4.3 GPE RUU to flash over. Hoping I can get this done. I will report later

you know that you can't downgrade without S-Off

So actually there is no solution to root/unlock_bootloader/s-off this? I guess I must stay with stock Google ROM

What you are experiencing is the well known GPE bootloader unlock bug. The only way to unlock it require S-OFF and the only way you can achieve s-off without having an unlocked bootloader is using Sunshine s-off.
Be very careful from now, if you make a mistake and the rom can't boot anymore, your phone will be good for garbage. Once S-OFF is achieved, we can help you unlock the bootloader.

Just launch the Sunshine app on your phone. It will run some tests then ask you to pay via PayPal or credit card. After you paid the phone wil reboot (may appear to bootloop). When the phone comes back on you'll be Unlocked Rooted and with s-off. All that good stuff in one shot
