Anyone have any idea why this is eating my battery and what I can do to stop it.

This is a common problem with lots of different options for fixing. Try clearing Google play services data and cache (go to all apps, Google play services, click manage storage, then clear all button at bottom), Google play store data/cache, sign out of your Google account before and sign back in after... If you haven't tried thst already.
Try doing some searches too. There are a ton of guides for fixing this issue on many forums - it's a pretty widespread issue.

Won't work until someone cracks the encryption keys. Its a security measure.
Streaming will not work... once netflix is ready, they will flip the switch and its game on.
I can't wait they need to release it you know there are more android users that iPhone and wp7

What if we changed the build fingerprint in the build.prop?

Engadget proposed that it might be a DRM call to something in the Revolution's processor.
Oh yea, we do need to get the libs for the DRM driver I believe. The drivers probably need to be modified though.

I've been wondering how people get such good battery life so I just checked what was eating mine and I saw that Facebook is absolutely destroying my battery. Is there a way to make the app more energy-efficient, and does this happen to anyone else?

What about under the Facebook Settings u could change the time under "Refresh interval" to a longer time period or even to Never.
Then on ur phone go to Manage applications/ Facebook then Force stop. Then check the usage several hrs later or the next day...

I did that a few hours ago and it seems to be a bit better. I'll check at the end of the day tomorrow and then see how much battery it uses.

The simplest answer is just to uninstall Facebook. Besides running yet another unneeded service on your phone, the app phones home to Facebook on you.
You gain battery life, and more privacy. Win win in my book.
Does anyone else experience maps screwing with their phone?

The image shows 6h20m of usage, my Maps app keeps starting on its own and is keeping my phone awake.
Even after I force close and remove all maps related services.
Does anyone have a solution to this that doesn't involve advanced task killer and the likes?
I'm on CM10, with 4.2.1 gapps.

I had this problem as well. Not with this app per say but for accessing any Accessibility Services. After googling it I came across the app that was causing the issue via a user on Redditz. The app was Lux & It has something to do with the filters the app applies. Disabling lux remedied the issue
Thx I will disable lux

Anyone try "Alternate Overlay" in the advanced settings of Lux (that may resolve the issue mentioned above)
