I was on My-RoM v1.2 EMUI 2.3 and wanted to upgrade.
I flashed boot image BOOT_EMUI3.0_609. Now my phone is in a bootloop.
I think the fastest way to correct this would be to flash kernel fastboot image for 2.3. It is listed in this thread, but the link is dead:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/asc...ds-tweaks-kernels-recoverys-emui-2-3-t2966670
I can boot into fastboot mode, but nothing else. Any help would be appreciated.

On which firmware you was on Emui 2.3?B.133,B.135..etc
Honestly, I'm not sure. I got the phone new yesterday and followed the steps form here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-p7/development/rom-myrom-v1-0-emui-2-3-4-4-2-b135-t2948887
I now managed to flash TWRP recovery again. So that's something. But not sure how to proceed from here.
I managed to get into TWRP and followed the same steps again. I am now again in 2.3 and will leave it at that. Thank you for your response.

Let me guess, you installed xdaddeb's boot stack at some point. Get the download mode restore from his link, it's in my signature. Flash that in recovery.
Also don't flash the CM11 nightlies, they are built from JB drivers/kernel for the G2 and won't work with the KK basebands...

You have Fastboot? Did you try downloading the latest TWRP img file and doing a fastboot boot recovery.img or fastboot flash recovery recovery.img? (I really don't know if it will work)
Download http://dansroms.com/G2-TWRP/custom-twrp-2.8.0.1-vs980.zip and extract the recovery.img from that and use it.

hello.
since last week I blocked my memul I did some more search and followed the following howto:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=64018011#post64018011
And used the firmware from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-mini-2/general/stock-ruu-rom-recovry-htc-one-mini-2-t3250020
At the end, my phone is blocked again.. I certainly did something wrong, but I don't know what.
I've followed the guide and flashed the sock firmware for my phone but now when it boot up, I'm stuck on the boot screen (HTC , powered by android - attached image1.jpg) and nothing append. If I try power+vol down it take a screenshot (attached - image2.png).
I managed to flash back the TWRP but my backup are gone. I've a copy on my computer, but I don't know how to restore my phone.
What's the best option? flash a new rom or restore my backup? Either way, how I do that?
Thanks for your answer,
ciao
Problem solved. I managed to flash a CM rom through the adb sideload in the TWRP recovery!

I am back to stock rom can you help me ?
Hi,
I was on 6.0 on XT1095. Tried to root it. Screwed up by flashing something that didn't work. Now i am stuck on 'warning bootloader unlocked' screen. Previously when I was on 5.1 I restored my phone from bootloop by using official images from Moto and using their instructions. Now there are no 6.0 images. I guess trying to reflash the whole 5.1 ijmages would brick my phone. I tried flashing just the system image of 5.1. It didn't work.
I found this 6.0 stock ROM here on XDA http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-2014/development/rom-xt1095-flashable-stock-rom-t3277874 . How do I flash this?
Please help. I'm on stock recovery. Previously I ran commands like 'fastboot flash system x.img' and so on when phone was in fastboot mode. How to flash this zip now.
Thanks in advance.
A bootloop is simple to get out of. Just press and hold the power and volume down keys to boot into recovery and go from there. If your phone isn't booting past the unlocked bootloader warning splash then you need to elaborate on WTF you flashed. Just saying "something that didn't work" isn't sufficient to make an accurate diagnosis.
To flash that stock ROM you posted a link to above would require you to fastboot flash a custom recovery first.
As for restoring a 5.1 image I don't understand why you'd think that would brick your device. You're formatting the entire device by going back to ANY stock image. Just because you are on 6.0 doesn't mean you have to restore a 6.0 stock image (that probably won't be available for some time).

Ok, so lets start from the beginning.
I have a OnePlus 3t and I have been trying for the whole day to get multirom up and running.
Made a couple of mistakes in the beginning (nothing serious) although i decided to use the unbrick tool to fully clean it.
After successfully cleaning it I booted, skipped thru the setup, went to developer settings, enabled oem unlocking and verified the computer signature.
Went to fastboot mode unlocked oem, and flashed TWRP like this:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery TWRP.img
fastboot boot TWRP.img
It all went well, then in twrp I copied a backup from my pc (that I made previously) and restored it.
And here comes the actual problem. Whenever I try to boot into TWRP it is just a black screen and a the LED is white.
Only way to boot into TWRP is by typing
Code:
fastboot boot TWRP.img
while in fastboot
Does anyone have a clue on this one?
(Sorry if grammar isn't perfect)

Update: Just booted into recovery by using
Code:
fastboot boot TWRP.img
and now I'm unauthorized in adb
The unbrick tool flashes an old firmware that won't start twrp. You need to update the firmware to a newer version. Try this firmware zip and report please:

I somehow made everything even worse so using the unbrick kit again.
Should I OTA update when in system?
Just tried doing a OTA and while it was rebooting it WIPED the data by some reason.
So now it is basically a clean install that needs a OTA that probably will wipe it again...
Ok just tried it again and it seems to actually update. Gonna report back soon

This is really weird

YESSS I'm finally able to boot into twrp TNX SO MUCH
Glad to hear you aced this. Just for further explansion:
The OS update does a firmware update too.
I took the firmware from the 3.5.4 flash zip from oneplus.
I was on stock 12.1 (rooted, bootloader unlocked) and wanted to try out this ROM e/OS.
Went through the first step of flashing the recovery, after which it is now stuck in Fastboot mode.
I did try to boot into TWRP to install a ROM or do a factory wipe via Fastboot but any command just takes me back to Fastboot.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks.

What happens when you try to boot TWRP?
Is there an error message at the bottom of the bootloader screen?

Ah, this usually happens when you are trying to use a custom ROM with the stock boot image. Extract the boot image from the ROM you're trying to install then flash it to /boot.
Otherwise, use a GSI.

I'll try flashing the custom ROM boot image first. By GSI do you mean the stock boot image?

No, Generic System Image. May not be available for the custom ROM you're trying to use.

I hadn't flashed the custom ROM. Just the custom ROM recovery, with which you install the ROM.

I would suggest asking in the ROM thread, but make sure you read back as the question may have been answered before.
To get your device working for now, just flash back to stock
