Hello,
My phone is nicely bricked. The situation is:
- UBL
- Tangerine kernel on it
What occured: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61375980&postcount=1480
Do I have to relock before flashing tft ?? As I have a custom kernel installed on it I don't think so ... but as I am in a bad situation I'd like to be sure of what to do ...
thanks.
[EDIT]: phone booting stock rom.... When flashing stock rom with your Bootloader Unlocked you have to STAY Unlocked. Relock can be done only when you are on stock rom.
Note: To flash the rom I had to delete bootloader.sin from ftf file
[IMPORTANT] After flashing your bootloader is locked back !!! I was going to flash a custom kernel before checking that ....

1.) if you flash recovery in fastbot you no longer have a rom installed.
2) No need to root if youhave unlocked bootloader, just flash an unsecure kernel.
To fix this, flash my kernel (Follow the link in my signature) then flash the rom of your choice in recovery

Hi,
I was about to flash the 3.17 firmware, then flash Insert-Coin ROM and then update my kernel to tbalden's new 4.3 performance kernel. Now I have been reading like a MADMAN and I am unlocked, with S-OFF and SuperCID. But never flashed firmware, roms or kernels b4.
Questions are:
1. I have read conflicting guides about locking the bootloader before flashing firmware. Some say you must, others don't mention it all. Do I need to lock my bootloader, flash the firmware, then use Hasoon2000's all in one to unlock again?
2. Will Flashing firmware wipe my SD?
3. Will flashing insert-coin rom change any of the 3.17 firmware I just flashed
4. Am I doing all this in the right order (Firmware, ROM, Kernel)? I read you should flash firmware first before a rom because the boot.img will go back to stock with the firmware.
Thank you so much guys!
1) For flash the new firmware you don't need to relock your bootloader.
2) No
3) Nope
4) Flash the new firmware, then the rom and after the new kernel
I rooted my phone, installed recovery and i installed custom rom,but that rom doesn't work properly (The phone is just restarting all the time). And everything i can do is to put my mobilephone to flash mode, then Flashboot recognize it,but i don't know what to do then(i tried to flash some kernels but the problem is in rom),can anyone please help me?
Is your bootloader unlocked? You need an unlocked bootloader to flash a non-stock based custom roms. Since you can connect it to flashmode, download flash tools and flash back a stock rom. You can unlock your bootloader if you want flash flash a custom ROM.

Hello
Yesterday I've rooted my phone and then I wanted to install a custom rom (CarbonRom).
I've read that I have to unlock the bootloader for installing a custom rom. I did this with the flashtool.
After that my phone stuck in bootloop.
I have restored my phone with twrp recovery and it works now. But I still have a locked bootloader.
I have read that I have to install a stock rom to prevent a bootloop. I only rooted my device so my phone still should have the stock rom on it.
Does anyone know how to unlock the bootloader properly?
Thanks in advance
