Hello guys,
I'm having a problem with my Galaxy S, I'm noob w/ Android. I read many users(not from here) saying that Lagfix really does a difference in performance, excited, I downloaded GST(Galaxy S Tweaker) and without root, instaled lagfix.
Now my Galaxy S is working, BUT, the home button stopped working and the back button is working as home button, also the camera stopped working, the touch became horrible, I can only connect to computer using Debug mode and everytime that I turn on the cellphone, appears I9000B and before appear the S logo it changes to I9000.
There's something that I can do?
I'm really desperate and don't care if lose data. I only wanna my Galaxy S working as it should be.
Eh. What's the name odd your device. Sounds like you installed lag fix for the international sgs
Sent from my GT-I9000
reflash it back to stock or flash another ROM made for the I9000 or I9000M instead of USA variants
Hey guys...
First time poster on here and after some BIG help... any will be useful and i thank you in advance for taking the time...
Ok without writing a novel i will give as much information as i can without beating around the bush. Then followed by details on the phone.
Issue:
So no matter what kernel or ROM & apps (or no apps) i put on this phone it is always unstable and reboots itself. Some ROMS doesn't even load.
The phone has been rooted correctly 'used the samsung root tool kit' with the correct one for the phone Australia i9305 LTE version.
I used to have rXTREME 7 which was OK - it rebooted maybe 3-5 times a day if i was frequently using it, but annoying.
I tried the rXTREME12.1 installed fine, the phone was restored to default, Xache & Davik Cache where all cleared and installed rom on fresh system however it would just hang on the Samsung logo... and do nothing.. i have also tried the CyanogenMod and Paranoidandroid 3.97 halo ROM's and they wouldn't load....
Currently i have Ripper Rom and it works however whenever i try and do ANYTHING it reboots itself... i will be lucky to get a good 2mins of it working correclty without it having to reboot... So far this morning it has rebooted about 31 times (no joke i have been counting) just trying to access my email... Not matter what i do, replaying to MSG's trying to answer the phone (swipe just doesn't work) or it will just reboot itself...
In saying this i have also tried to unroot the phone and installed the standard OPTUS rom and it was also so unstable it would do the same thing, however would wipe any information i had put on the phone... apps, data, contacts...
Details on the Phone:
Australian LTE GT-i9305
Android V: 4.1.2
Baseband V: I9305XXBLL5
Kernel V: 3.0.31-1153417 [email protected] #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri May 31 23:10:25 KST 2013
Build Number: Ripper ROM V17.2
Recovery: Team Win Recovery Project v2.3.30
Again please help!!! i am at at a end and want to smash the phone to peices.........
Thanks in Advance for any help or advice!

I don't know what to do.. HELP? PLEASE....
Wipe phone factory reset flash stock rom and test fails then its hardware .
jje
Yeah it sounds like you've done everything so it sounds hardware related. If it's still under warranty hopefully you can still run triangle away to clear the flash counter before you send it in for repair but I don't think you have any other choice

Thanks for the help guys..
I have a funny feeling it is hardware related as well
I do have triangle away, and the phone gets rid of all the flashes bar 1... it shows the count as 1... so don't know if warranty will cover it?
On that note of a stock flash, does anyone have the latest OPTUS Australian LTE version??????
Again, thanks for your time...

You need to flash triangle away and then boot into download mode and flash a stock rom. Should be able to find it on the sammobile website

Stock rom is up on sammobile, I have both stock ics and stock jb files for optus Australia which I can upload if required.
update -
So the phone has another version of teamwin recovery v2.3.3.0 and installed the xrtreme13 rom and is completely fine... untill you put a sim card in the phone... I tired all the different modems and it still crashed...
If i put another sim in it, and still does it, does it mean the modem on the phone is borked? and should get a new one? or is there a fix for this???
However we did pin point what the problem is...
Cheers,
Scotty
Good day all, first timer posting but have been reading the forms for a while now.
I have a major problem with my galaxy note GT- N7000. I have browed through the forms and have not seen a problem like mine. I really need help with my phone.
Problem:
The phone is rooted with paranoid android rom; current version PA_n7000-3.60. I have been using this for over a year with no problem, when all of a sudden the phone goes into android update screen and ever since been on that screen whatever I do. I never tried to update the rom or anything when this happened, just found it like that. All auto update are turned off.
I have tired installing the rom again using CWM and even tried installing the latest update still the problem persists.
I don’t want to format the phone because I have some very important information I will lose if I do. Cannot back up using CWM, getting error messages, cannot get access to phone via connection to my computer. I am in a jam and really need help with this.
Thanks.
Hello,
This is my first post here
So couple of weeks ago i attempted to Flash Custom Rom ( HavocOS ) altho it looks nice but it seems that my phone is getting slower by the day,
the reason that made me flash a custom rom is to remove the unecessary apps and samsung stuff that uses my phone for no reason.
and losing the snappiness of my phone, phone gets hot sometimes for no reason, pickin up calls takes forever to connect which makes me miss calls sometimes, etc ... made me regret flashin the Rom.
so i was wondering if it's possible to revert back to original Rom and Lock the bootloader again.
My phone model is : SM-A305F/DS
Thank you for your help.
PS: sorry if my english seems off it's not my first language and still learning it ^^
The best way is probably flashing the stock firmware on odin and then lock the bootloader.
Dear XDA Community,
since 4 years iam using a Samsung Galaxy Note8 SM-N950F. It works comepletly fine until one day the device suddenly reboots by using it.
At first i wanna mention, that the Hardware didnt got conact with water and at this day and the days before it didnt fall down.
At the first reboots I always got to the home screen and could use it for a few seconds. But after a few reboots its get stucked by the logo.
After 5 hours of rebooting, the device worked like before... but only for one day. The next day its beguns rebooting again...
I try to break the loop and opened the bootmenu. From the bootmenu the device did not reboot but display the following message (Picture-1):
firmware info was not valid
Then i wiped and restartet it. I clicked through the firststart dialog after i reach the home screen and then i joined the reboot loop again.
I tooked my phone to a repair center but they said it will be a mainboard defect which i cant belive cause it dont reboot from the boot menu and from the android download mode...
The resettet and said they installed a new firmware but the error message didnt changed.
I also followed this guide to do it by my own:

firmware issue Samsung Galaxy S8 (SM-G950FD)
Hi, I have a serious issue with my Samsung Galaxy S8, 64 GB, dual sim. My phone has stock android, never rooted, never modified in any way. I run it in Australia but got it from overseas. After a system update (sometime in December) my phone rebooted (precisely on 29/12/2019), and after the...
