I'm new to the programming scene, and would like to know where to start I programming with Android studio. I know a little bit of Java, and have resources to learn more, but where can I learn the ropes of Android studio itself? Are there any good online tutorials that you guys would recommend? Thank you.

Can create support for the ANDROID Emulator XDA 2i?
I found ANDROID simulator has been to support such models as the KAISER, XDA 2i configuration is almost like KAISER.
I hope I can make out the XDA 2i supports the ANDROID Emulator.

Android being open source has nothing to do with what random apps you want to run.

Programming apps has to do with the sdk/ndk..not the fact we can see and modify the OS. Would be like saying we can't make software because windows isn't open source .. only one it can think of is the zynga poker app. would probably be just as easy to download flash and try the web sites and see if it's playable.

Anyone know of a good video editing app? Looking for an app that can trim, clip, merge, and add music without a watermark.
Paid or free, doesn't matter.
Thanks xda

PowerDirector by developer CyberLink.com is the best option currently and was released for Android this past June. It does need to be purchased and downloaded on a compatible device, but does successfully sideload and run on the Moto X. Although I would recommend using a tablet to maximize space. It's as serious as it gets for video editing on a mobile device. It's no Adobe Premiere or AVID obviously, but it's the best there is on Android. Definitely worth a try for serious mobile video editing. Hope this helps.

Hello everyone.
I participate in a project - android app development and my work is to make the app to upload audio files (m4a) after recording, and cvs files to amazon server (aws.amazon.com). Can you give me general guidelines? How to start? My first steps? Advice?
General speaking, android studio is better or eclipse?
The amazon aws has a few mobile services, for example Cognito, Device Farm, Mobile Analytics and SNS. Should I use some of them?
Thanks in advance.

Android studio i prefer
I love too to use Android Studio.
Android studio is free, I also used Microsoft Visual Studio, but I would recommend AS if you are beginner.
