there is no point in having screenshots because you all remember what stock looks like.
these are odex versions, allowing full space given from when you got it new. i give it this way as it lets you do what you want.
The root versions are capable of being used with either scripts listed below.
d2sd
data2sd-ext
data2ext3.
You need to flash this like any other ROM given. Do the triple wipe, if you prefer like me do it twice IE data/cache/dalvik/data/cache/dalvik) This will 99.9% clear any errors when you boot it up. Skipping these or not following correct procedure will in fact fudge it up when it boots up.
If you are using any other the given data2sd, then allow a full first boot inc setup etc the reboot to flash the script.
I have tried this ROM myself and i am happy with the turn out, although i don't like stock anyway lol

yeah this has init.d tweaks there making it faster, busybox preinstalled and the root in this is far more advanced than the superuser given in root.zip

Update, Urgent - BigBear. I just came home from work and surprisingly the ROM is giving android.process.acore force close errors. Please have a look. I don't know how to send you LogCat details.
Update 1- Earlier when I had installed(triple wipe) it was working fine before I left for work, during the break my brother had called explaining the problem. No Data2EXt script was installed. Trying to reinstall now.
Update 2- Its still giving the same error, Help !!
Update 3- I have gone back to CM development ROM. Any other member can help him I have client meetings scheduled from Sunday onwards . BigBear I can provide you a video of the problem if you desire it.

OK, i know what the problem is i think. will compile a new one over the rest of the weekend from scratch. ill make a brand new euro odex and deodexed stock ROM, with and with out root

Use fshamis Rom karan. It is stable and fast. I use it as my backup.

the idea vigoo is to give the users what they want not send them else where for another custom rom. fshamis roms are good but again its custom an sluggish from stock. i know cos i helped build them.
no offense but yet again, you have suggested using another custom on a thread meant for these only and not the fact that i said in the previous post i will build another set from scratch thus giving users the advanced option of choosing a stock rom which they are asking for.
it feels like your undermining me and taking over on various posts, stop hijacking threads to add information irrelevant to the thread involved regardless of the problem.
if this continues i will step down from RC and walk away, sorry like but its beginning to really annoy me.

Just a suggestion, while flashing the stock ROM, could you add a link to GB Google apps, so newbies could flash those without the hassles of manual update.
Yes and no lol. Idea is to give stock back with nothing touched. This way its the users choice then otherwise it would he a custom if I replaced stuff lol

In "Stock with Root" ROM, when installing any root required app, it prompt root access is not granted. Think something wrong with su.
Try updating your su binary. It will be out of date! Check busybox to. Its stock with basic root so don't expect to much in the way of custom in there.

there does seem to be some issues with SU on the stock rooted. i myself didn't get any problems with this, but for users that have, please use Stock and add root.zip. this should solve the problems listed till i can rectify whatever is the problem. i will add root.zip to main post.
i installed the stockRoot rom but the superuser app does not work properly it can not update and it does not giving me root access to any program so i can not install busybox to increase my memory. any help about this?

Faulty camera's pink hue?
Just wondering if anyone has found a legitimate fix for this. Whether its a hardcoded software tweak or just faulty hardware.. I read a few post back that someone managed to take the m7 apart a few times and was just wondering if the camera was replaced and if so, did it solve the issue....and if so, where the replacement was found... Ive been running ic for a few days now and feel as though it is flawless (esp. after nightly installs) with this issue being the only exception.

After i install a custom icon pack via Insert Coin Themes and then i lock the phone, everytime i wake it up the lockscreen appears to load notably slower.
It gets around 2-3 seconds to load the screen .
When i am with stock icons i have no problem.Is this something common or i am doing something wrong?

I've been having problems with my phone since a few days. Already reinstalled insertcoint 4.0.4 but still have this problem.
My phone does seem to connect to the network, but I can't make any calls. I just don't hear anything. However, in the drop down I do see that it connects. Peoplte on the other side of the line also don't hear me. You guys have any idea wath the problem might be? Is there any way I can log the problems?
I have the idea that the phone is running slow as soon as I open up the dialer app too.

I have an HTC One M7 & I'm currently using the rom Insert Coin. I currently have the latest updated rom. Everything is perfect except for one thing, I can't seem to get into my gallery. Every time that I try to access my gallery, it forces closes. Even when I am not using the gallery, I still get "Unfortunately, Gallery has stopped." toasts. I have tried to clear cache & data, I've tried to force close it. Nothing seems to work. If someone could assist me, it would be greatly appreciated.

This rom is one of the fastest I ever installed on my p990.
There is only one small issue. I get the error "the application Settings (process com.android.settings) has stopped working unexpectedly" by accessing "Home Screen" in "Settings.". Installation is on a fully wiped and re-partitioned device, also tried a new installation.
Any Advice?

Thanks a lot pal. It is running smooth and seems faster than stock ICS. I have gone through a number of KK ROMs including SlimKat project (nice, but sluggish and some features like camera not working properly); the best I tested was DayDream 1.8 OFFICIAL- nice interface and pretty quick, most features OK, but again camera app not doing the job all the time (long time to launch and also exposure problems and weird upside down picture?) and which seems to be the problem of all CM10 or higher based ROMS No BT calls working (which I use in my car when driving); GPS seemed to take a long time to get fixed, but eventually was getting there. So I keep testing and wait for new updates (maybe again 10MB lighter?) All the best for your work.

Hi first sorry for my bad english, i have a problem with kowalski kernel using this room. all works fine, until now is the best room i ever tried for my p990 but when i plug the charger when the screen is idle it freezes in black screen until i unplug the battery but when i connect it again suddenly the battery dont have charge, when this had like 80%+ im using Kernel by Civato now at 1.0 ghz is not OC, and the problem is gone, but the phone turns kinda laggy sometimes, i know im asking for too much while im a noobie here but this can be fixed? or what kernel did you recomend to use with this room, if is the stock kernel how i reflash it? already searched a lot for the stock kernell but i cant find it ):, ty for your time.

Phone freezes frequently
I have installed this ROM after having different issues with CM10 and CM11 based ROMS, like GPS fix slow or no BT calls. The ROM works fast but I experience frequent freezes, usually upon incoming call that I cannot answer (screen not responding at all) or just after finishing a call. Sometimes using off switch brings restart menu on, and I can perform hot boot, most often I have to take battery out and reboot. What might be causing this? Hope there is an easy answer.

First I'd like to thanks for your ROM, it's been the most fluid and best working one that I used in last years. I was on different various CMs from CM9 to CM11 and waiting when it will be working without bugs and with good performance, but I guess I can't really expect that from unofficial CMs. So I saw this rom, tried it and was amazed how good it is.
I have few small problems though:
1) How to start File Manager with root privileges? When I start it and go to its settings, there I see option for "Access type", but it's in disabled state and thus I can't change it from default "Safe mode".
2) How can I change LED buttons brightness? Option in Kowalski Manager doesn't work at all.
3) When I use automatic timezone, it's chosen wrong and it's +1 hour against correct. I found it should solve nitz.disabled - I downloaded and installed .zip from some old tonyp's ROM, but it didn't helped. I know another solution would be to change baseband, but I'd like to stay with mine. But if it's really needed - what baseband should I flash?

Ok, I guess proper solution is to use proper ICS baseband, as you can read in baseband thread by tonyp. So I did that.
1) Download ICS baseband
- links in tonyp thread are dead, but I found mirror: http://d-h.st/SSP (it's v30A = europe version, if you need v30B, you need to search it for yourself)
2) Install baseband by this instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26191714&postcount=3
- links are dead again, so I found mirrors: SmartFlash P990 and SmartFlash drivers (in this post. Note: I have had newer version of LG drivers installed on my computer so I had to uninstall them first and install these from link and then start smartflash as administrator to make it work on my win 8.1 x64.)
3) Installed this ROM again via TWRP
- idk if it's needed, because I did it without full wipe (expected baseband flash wiped it) and my whole rom remained same.
4) Now timezone works correctly
I somehow solved my problem with LED keys brightness by installing app: "LG Touch LED Notifications" from playstore (xda doesn't allow me to post links)
Then suddenly changing it in Kowalski Manager started to work correctly. I guess it created some file which was missing in ROM. That app at start fixes some access rights, so that will be the issue. But I don't know of what file(s) exactly

Another small issue in ROM - script /system/bin/gps-update has wrong url address, so updating gps_data.lto won't work. Script in /system/etc/init.d/07lto-dat is the same, but url here is correct. That gps-update script should be fixed too

no clean install will not do anything good. it's a reported issues by other users too, wait for an update from the dev.

Status 7 fix
Hi there!
I'm new to the rooting and flashing roms business.
I had soft bricked my note GT-n7000 and after a few weeks of reading about things on the internet I have finally found the ROM that I want on my note.
It''s the [aogp 4.4.4] [unofficial] [n7000]. The problem is, whenever I try to install it, I get the Status 7 error.
This was never a problem with TWRP, but since I had to update to Clockwork Mod to install this, every ROM I try to install gives me this error.
I've tried deleting the code that mentions compatibility devices in Update Script file but no luck.
Please help!

I was flashing the ROM with CWM and I did not know about Raw4 Kernal. I looked it up, flashed it and voila! the error disappeared.
I finally have a working phone now and a BEAUTIFUL ROM. Thanks again Jackeagle! :good:
Although, I don't understand one thing, my reactive touch keys and the home button is not working. I can use the phone with the touch screen, no problem. But the Home screen and the back and menu keys not working. [Note GT-N7000]
I'm not sure if this is a bug or just a problem with my device.
I can probably add pie control and use that as an alternative, but if there is a fix, please enlighten me!

Is your rom going to be an Odexed build and not Deodexed? Is it final?
If it is final, I have some questions if you don't mind.
1. Can I delete the .odex files under system/app
2. If the .odex files can be deleted, would you also add a script to zipalign the system/app? Haven't saw if this is available under kernel tweaker.
I actually prefer the deodex as I can free more space under system/app and add/push some of my apps under system/app to free for internal space and install more apps. Coz with odex I can't free more system apps so most of the apps that I use cannot be installed as I ran out of space.

I was flashing the ROM with CWM and I did not know about Raw4 Kernal. I looked it up, flashed it and voila! the error disappeared.
I finally have a working phone now and a BEAUTIFUL ROM. Thanks again Jackeagle! :good:
Although, I don't understand one thing, my reactive touch keys and the home button is not working. I can use the phone with the touch screen, no problem. But the Home screen and the back and menu keys not working. [Note GT-N7000]
I'm not sure if this is a bug or just a problem with my device.
I can probably add pie control and use that as an alternative, but if there is a fix, please enlighten me!

If you are latest Official Weekly/Prev Build Go to Settings --> Buttons ---> Tick Hardware Buttons Option for hardware keys to work

* During an update, what does it flash? rom, gapps, supersu? Wipe Cache and dalvik necessary?

I only noticed the problems of physical keys and resolves with jackeagle commenting. And the application of the gapps, I used the PA-gapps, and Slim-gapps, and both I failed only keyboard application AOSP, showing continuous closures (solved by deleting the app, I have installed another keyboard Google Play), except that not note problems.
Even use Bauner kernel (v1.2 is the one to use the v1.2.1 fails with internal SD not mount, error for sdCard0 mount on the USB storage, and not approachable ), and it seemed pretty good ROM, but would lack that can be modified to add the date to the Java options ( use EEEE dd MMMM yyyy - I might lie if available embers, now I'm testing several ROM's).
I use SurpeSu since seemed to improve (v2.16 )
PA-GApps & Slim-GApps BETA 8-x-317 is perfect, except keyboard AOSP, clossed continuous.
Simple:
Boot into Recovery mode and enter mount & storage and select mount on:
- System, cache, data and SDCard0
- Select the format's the same mount's made.
- We go to Install zip, I installed the ROM, the Gapps and select reboot system.
It should now boot without problems, except the AOSP keyboard, which you must uninstall I install an application to replace it.
- If you want you can install a kernel after gapps, but better probed without using any startup to test.

If you understand Spanish you can serve this guide I made on htcmania, since I is simpler translation from English to Spanish, Spanish to English, and it's done correctly it may not be understood in its full context, but even put much text, is to give information on possibilities or things to do in certain steps (example: ever following the format's must reinicair mobile, continue with the following steps, or we would play again reinstall a Rom Stock Samsun or Custom Rom format for ODIN pc), the link is this.
Be warned that installing a ROM kit-kat and allows the leap to the other, will not be necessary to install a kernel to jump to another ROM, but encambios ROM's always recommend the 4 mount's and the 4 format's, and you will Rom and install GApps.

Just a few things you might be able to help me with.
Charge light never goes out at 100%, stays green all the time.
Any way to change that?
Getting "Optimising Applications" at every reboot.
I've cleared Dalvik and rebooted, but it keeps happening.
What can I check?

The charge light is standard sony, I do not know of anyway to change that at present
However I can look into this and if I find anything I will report back.
Your optimising on every boot issue is caused by Gapps - remove it and reinstall another version
I had to change the link on my thread to reflect a better version that resolved this issue some users were experiencing

Yes you can use it every day and please find attached the extra files you need to make it work in the Italian language
You need to drag and drop the attached files in these locations
system/tts/lang_pico/
system/usr/xperia_keyboard_dictionaries/
(DO NOT delete any files already in these locations in the Rom)
(The attached is NOT a flashable zip)
Please ignore any DS_store files in the .zip - I work on a mac and these are hidden storage mac specific system files - you DO NOT need these
I read in the main thread that there is only English, instead I saw that there are all the languages. Thanks anyway! I'm still testing the rom and negative I found that I did not synchronize Google's conctat.

It is english by default as I removed all other languages packs that effect the keyboard and dictionaries, the first boot menu will default to showing a list of ALL languages....
The keyboard and dictionary will only function in English unless you apply the files I supplied above this will give you FULL Italian as well as english!
For google sync to work you need to install Gapps mentioned in the second post in the main thread

After i install the rom i can't connect to mobilego(TM) wondershare's Progame
to restore backup from my old phone since Xperia Transfer(TM) progame happen to be broken
cause your rom change my device to C5303 and i can't change it to C5302
pls guide me some how pls because i wonder in near future i have to use those backup again

This Rom was only meant for C5303 devices as mentioned in the main thread first post
No idea why wondershare isn't working and I cannot offer support for third party apps sorry
I can fix xperia backup software place the attached files in the app folder and reboot
system backup will start working again (the attached is Not flashable you will have to add them to the ROM manually)

I accidently installed c5303 rom into my c5302 .Does it make any problem?
My NFC option is missing,stock widgets too.
In lock screen the clock is not in middle

Flash the kernel that came with the rom with flashtool
then go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57345781&postcount=106 to install the NFC stuff and that should sort out your issues
The lock screen is possible an issue with miui - go to apps and delete the mihome launcher

First I must say that this is the fastest stock I have ever seen. Thank for the great work!
%99 percent of your "bloatware removal list" is perfectly fit for usual XSP owners. And a few changes can be made on this list as you said "to be done in V3".
And I have suggestions before releasing your "mighty V3"
After numerous clean installs of your v2 over stock original .205 with Locked Bootloader;
1- I could never overcome the "optimising applicaitons on every boot" issue. Tried 3 different GApps mentioned in the original posts. If I am not wrong -without GApps installation- after update of Google Play Store and Services there is no problem. But when I install GApps and there is an updated GApp in them (no matter before or after gapps installation) every boot takes time. May be a permissions issue but you are the master
2- I got better superuser interactions with both 2.40 supersu binary and app
3- As you know SONY apps like Walkman, Album, Movies etc are sexy and most of Xperia users love them. According to SONY's strangely good update frequency of these apps makes me think that "Sony Update Center is required" in V3.
4- I tried both activating ant not activating mi home, cleaning data of mihome and xperia home apps, uninstalling, all the things possible... No chance to fix clock orientation in Xperia Lockscreen.
5- I think with such a smooth rom we guys will choose Xperia Homescreen. Mi Home can be removed. There are CM roms there to fantasy
6- As this roms "fitness" helps about battery life, you can also add your features like MPDecision thing etc. to make this rom legendary about battery. Underclocking also helps as you do and what about no frills classic pre installed or buried in setting?
7- I'm confused after tons of flashing zips and I may be wrong but after a clean install for locked bootloaders
7a- If phone is not rooted pre installed towelroot would be good because I dont want to find a way to get a file explorer to find apk and install it. Or pre installed ES File Explorer would also be good, as I think every one has it.
7b- If phone doesn't have recoveries recevory zip installation can also be added to installation instructions, may be supersu.zip too.
8- I don't know if there are differences but most of guys would prefers US English than Australian English
9- Of course not all GApps but I thing %95 of Sony Stock users use Google Contacts sync. Apps, app datas, maps, google+ etc etc all they are optional but contacts sync is a must. Needed in V3
10- Exchange capabilities are must for email I think. You can put it in or make it an addon.
11- There are so many guys out there can not deactivate their facebook accounts just to remember the birthdays of friends. And there is no wonderful way to sync facebook calendar to phone calendar on play store like Sony's own app. This is also needed I think...
12- Only one ringtone of original Xperia ringtones...
13- I know you have thought may be all of these but I will be happy whether even only one of these would help to make your rom better.
I am installing stock .205 now and I will use it till mighty V3 of you released

About installation, no problems. Maybe i missread the Op, i flash SuperSu (v2.40), i don't realize you even use Super user, but no probeme, i can diseable it very easy and NO problem with root. (thank for the french language on the very first boot)
About your rom : You'r a Champion: Stable , Fast, good battery,....only what i need....(i'm on LBL and use Performance Controle apk, the only "feature" that i need to control your rom)
About a probably Slim rom V3, if you can give us more battery, you are a GENIUS!!!:highfive:

YES you can uninstall, the "new"applications" listed in (V3)
If you want to use "performance controller" app just rename MPDecision.old to MPDecision in system/bin and reboot
That will reinstate Sony stock settings and allow you to use the "performance controller" app fully, hopefully!
