Hello world!
Can anybody help me indentify is this case fake or true? I have never used Spigen Armor before, so I can't compare.
Looks good, but it's very, very uncomfortable in use. Is it fake or maybe just these armors are so inconvenient (and my suspision is unfounded)?
Thanks for help.

If it's fake then is a really good fake. Slim armor isn't confortable since it's a big case, but I don't know how are you feeling unconfortable with it. Can you describe what you feel?
It is a good one, but I believe it's fake never-the-less. I've bought 3 spigen slim armors for my g2 and I've never seen a silver one. There's red, gold, blue, black, and midnight blue. Now, if I'm mistaken, and its gold, it may be real but, if it is, you should have gotten an authentication key to check it on their website.
Unless you bought it used, if that code didn't come with it, it's a fake sadly. Mine are all quite comfortable, unless I rest my pinky finger on the charging port. Even then, it's still not really uncomfortable.
It is a fake !

This definitely looks same with my genuine slim armor except for the color which mine is petroleum blue. Either it's genuine or not, getting used to the case takes time and it's really a solid case. But when in pocket because of the thickness it's been more prone to scratches in my cases. And sadly my screen is lifting at one point i have to use a case which has a better lip on screen.
Your case is most likely genuine if you got it in a non-plastic box w/ a serial number you are good to go. Enjoy your case.
Separate the 2 parts, if it has a label on the plastic one, then its not fake. Simple
There are handful of videos available on YouTube. Also as @Eminemiero said, If Sticker on plastic means Genuine!
For more compare it with my so call Genuinely Fake Spigen SLIM ARMOR case. Purchased it from eBay for $4 Including free shipping.
Kindly check attachments for better clarification on what you've got is 101% Genuine.

Sure.
Quality wise feels great in hand. Yes added bulk compare to bare naked G2. And i think with Original Spigen case, it will be the same story.
Once you've covered up, non can tell which ones is genuine n counterfeit.
Also I've tempered glass up front so protection wise it feels Super Solid.
Thanks. I have the black and white Spigen cases but I wouldn't mind checking out other knockoff colors if the quality is still good. $4 is cheap!

Looks fake to me. Looking at their website, The logo font looks different. The pics on their website don't show armor being bolded, and the shape of the hard case is totally different. That being said, a case is a case. It will probably protect your phone just as well as a genuine one.
fake. spigen armors have their logo engraved on the lower left side of the case

Hey guys, just ordered a Note 2, so stoked.
I am looking for a case that doesn't add a lot of bulk but still has all sides covered (why do they remove top/bottom or corners??), and has enough lip on the front to protect the screen. I was pretty interested in the Bodyglove case, but it can't be bought in Europe, where I live.
Any suggestions?

Body glove case is nice. Buuuuut, the lip prevents edge interaction the way the lips stands up. Using quick controls on aosp browser can be frustrating because of this. See the diztronics on Samsung protective cover + to see how it should be. I have both. As much as I like diztronic cases the OEM SAMSUNG case is very nice. Both though aren't up to my specifications for edge protection. The clear or smoked tpu's are usually much fire and in some cases a bit thicker. I am awaiting DBA cases to come out with their ultra case which seems to be perfect. You get a tpu line, x shaped plastic shell to protect corners and if the pictures do it Justice, you don't get otter box bulk. Either way, I would highly recommend any of the cases I just mentioned over the body glove. The diztronics is the cheapest and least flashy of all of them and you support an independent business owner at the same time.
I wish clay from diztronic would still sell screen protectors though. Too many people claiming warranty on them even though he was barely selling above cost and was losing money on them. Good example of what happens when you let your first world problems and penny pinching ways get in the way of good business and good product. Lose out on a high quality product he sold on the side to make people happy but his bank account couldn't afford it.

Thank you for the replies. I think I'll go for the Diztronic, as I like the matte better than the glossy Samsung protective cover.
Other suggestions are still welcome.

What is the thinnest case out? I don't necessarily like cases...just want something as thin as possible for scratch protection.
Rinkge Slim is probably the thinnest. It fits VERY well and is about as minimal as it gets. I really like it.
However, I switched to a TPU case because I can be a bit clumsy and needed more protection from drops on pavement.
If you just want scratch protection then a skin is the way to go.

I have this one and have had it on past phones and I felt it made the 5x quite a bit bigger for a "thin" case. Maybe because its designed to fit flush with the camera and since the camera protrudes out, it the case does too.

I've heard a lot about this one... Also the Nillkin Nature case keeps coming up, too, and lists itself as .66mm thick. That's a pretty slim case, and would be far thinner than my Cimo tpu case. I'm probably going to order both the Nillkin and Lg Hardshell and see which one is best. I like that the Nillkin comes in clear and smoked options, too, instead of just solid colors. Haven't been able to confirm that option on the LG case since it doesn't appear for sale in the US just yet.

Based on this guy's caliper and Amazon.com, the Nillkin should be quite a bit thinner than the LG case...

Nillkin nature tpu case. Also has the best feeling buttons I ever had with a silicone case. Ports on bottom have protection . also nice

IMO the Ringke and Spigen "slim" cases look like Otterboxes in comparison to the LG Snap On, that one is basically like a hard skin. The quicksand cases are similar to those in thickness.

How thin is the Nilkin? I don't see it advertised. The LG Snap On is advertised at 0.75mm but we don't know at which point of the case they measured.
The Nilkin is a gel case, or "condom" case as I like to call them. They are thin but that's about all they have going for them.

The nillkin is advertised at. 0.6mm. Not much for rugged protection, I suppose, but should be nice for some coverage without added bulk. Mine just shipped (from somewhere in east Asia) and should be here in about 2 weeks. Will keep y'all posted.
The Lg case has a s light inward curve to it so it's hard to get measurements. After trying multiple angles the thinnest I got was .80, that's coming straight up from the bottom.
Diztronic hands down

Just got the Nillkin. Definitely the thinnest TPU case I've ever owned. Also the buttons still retain most of their clicky feedback. This has happily replaced the Orzly as my main case.

I've got my Nillkin Nture TPU case. It's awesome! I don't have pics yet, but will try getting some for y'all when possible. In short, it's amazingly thin for TPU, adding minimal bulk. This is far superior and much thinner than my Cimo TPU case. It's not going to offer much drop protection, but I'm not too concerned about that. Plus it'll certainly prevent scratches. It also has a slight raised edge at the bezel so you can set the phone screen-down on a flat surface and the screen won't touch, but the added bonus here is that since its such a thin case, the offset is minimal which makes it MUCH easier to swipe left-to-right (for example to open an app menu or Google Now) than thicker TPU caes (which can often make it hard to touch the edge of the screen.
Anyway, I'm really happy about this case. It does had small flaps that cover and plug the charging alot and headphone jack, which I waver between liking and disliking. However, those could easily be cut off if wanted. Anyway, easily the best $10 I've ever spent on a case.

Yup, the white is actually clear. That's the one I bought.
My Nillkin is on its way from China. I'm excited to get it. I'm using the Ringke Fusion right now and I think the profile is slim along the edges but the extra thickness is killing me.
With the Nillkin should I look into getting a screen protector for the camera lens or does the case lip around the camera keep it from touching the surface?
This ballistic leather case is perfect. I've always preferred leather back covers. Always sacrificed protection, just because it was proffesional and classy looking. Burkley, Qialino, & Tetded basically I've had every flagship phone from Samsung and LG fir the last 4 years. I have 7 lines I pay for (wife & kids) so dammit I use all the upgrades, then pass phone down the line. Every 5 or 6 months when I get ready to get a new phone, I ALWAYS start looking to see if there is anyone else making something better...
This time BALLISTIC of all people had this leather case that interested me. They do an ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE job displaying the case on the website, they state it was their thinnest ever case, but in my mind it would be BALLISTIC huge. I took a chance and bought it. So glad I did.
First, it's thin. Super thin. Like perfect man. I had the Naked Tough and it's less obtrusive than that. Plus the still have their corners integrated in, and they do not look anything but stylish and flow well with the case. It's rated at 6ft like all there cases too. The lip, which is another area of contention for me with these leather back cages is the exact perfect size. Keeps my screen elevated very well if I sit it face down. Some cases I've had would elevate screen no more the high enough fir paper to move freely. That's pointless to me, a grain of sand would still scratch the hell out of it. Not this case. I'm telling you as far as security and protection go, I do not see how any slim case could do more than this. PERFECTION.
Now the leather. The ENTIRE back is leather. Just the bottom and top edges are rubber and they are a part of the piece that makes the corners. The leather and rubber blend SEAMLESSLY. I'm telling you I do not see how this could have been done any better. Ballistic says they used what they call a "buffalo leather" and it feels very supple, but is very durable thus far.
This case is dang near perfect. If you like classy leather backs, do yourself a favor, buy this.
Um, got pics? Link to their site for purchase?

I also believe that the leather is fake leather but still looks like an interesting case.
Well they say they are using "Prwmium" materials on this line. The call it Buffalo leather. I believe it's real. Get it on Ebay though. I paid 16 bucks. On Ballistics website it's 40

I don't see it for anywhere close to $16. The cheapest I see if $24, and other sellers are $30 to $40. If you really payed $16, I suspect you got a knock off.
Guess I'm just going to have to order so we can see some real pictures of this case.
Ordered one up, should have it by the end of the week. Not available for $16.00 though.
tiny70thomas is 100% correct about this case. Got it in today and I actually love the case. It adds hardly any bulk to the phone and feels great in the hand. The power/volume buttons are just as good as the Speck candyshell grip if not better. Not sure how much drop protection it would provide and it's nothing more then a thin rubber case with thick corners. I'm almost 100% sure the leather is not real but non the less it feels great. Here are some "Real" pictures of this Ballistic Urbanite base in Buffalo Leather. I like it !

It is alright but what kinda turns me off is the texture. If it was less coarse-looking, like the OEM Samsung leather case, it would've appealed to me more.

Ive moved from a z3 compact and I had the same leather case for 2 years. Great quality and decent leather. Afte comparing lots of phone sizes I took a slight risk getting this iPhone6 plus sized one
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00NKFZYW6/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Only point is I slide my Z play in downwards so it's easier to grasp when pulling it out.
I like that pouch man. Super classy. How's the fit? Is it too tight or loose?
I was expecting it to be slightly too long as the iPhone6 plus is bigger but it's perfect. After having one for my old phone the pouch never gets loose enough for it to fall out. Prefer these cases to open ones so the screen is protected as well.
Looks good man. I may pick one up! It's perfect for the off hours... I also need something for work tho.. I work in an industrial setting and while I'd love to have the phone naked I need something hardcore in case I drop it. I've seen the Incipio ones, I may get one of those I guess... You'd think with the battery life this phone has it would have been a more popular model. But it seems like not too many people are picking it up
Had to order a Nillkin case of Aliexpress, as decent cases arent available yet on local sites.
Recently ordered mine shock proof case in Ali Express

This is the case: https://m.pt.aliexpress.com/item/32745245264.html
It hasn't arrived yet, but I think it's pretty neat, the phone seems to fit right into the case, so it doesn't make it that extra bulky, but it doesn't also fit a Mod back there.
I don't use a case. I use protector from the Gadgetshieldz. They act as my primary protection.
http://www.gadgetshieldz.com/moto-z-play-screen-protectors-covers-cases.html
didn't use case only screen protector
Ended up picking this one up for now. Protects the camera well has a decent lip over the screen for a slim case and it's a sticky kinda rubbery plastic so it won't fly out of my hands at work. It was also nice and cheap with prime shipping.

Casemate clear fron Verizon
I have had experience with the clear Casemate case from verizon for a few days now. Its probably the worst case ive ever had. Terrible design, uses adhesive to adhere the front screen piece and easily come off with any pressure against it. Rear case holds just fine but is incredibly thick and changes the device into a boxy phone. Needless to say save your money and get a different case
Cool, thanks! Let us know how you like any of the ones you order.
I was thinking a possible case idea would be a rear TPU case that adheres with adhesive, but then has an extended flexible rubber that overlaps the screen edges. Then you could fold back the rubber when you want to swivel. Just a brainstorm, not sure how it would work in a practical use.
Just pulled the trigger on a case and protector from a Korean website (GMarket)
