Just flashed 5.0 on my phone and can't stand the NFC icon in the status. Previously was using G2 Xposed to remove the icon along with other modifications but its not supported for lollipop. GravityBox was able to do most of what I wanted but unless I am missing it, I do not see an option to remove the NFC icon

I just received my Moto X, which immediately updated to Kit Kat as soon as I fired it on. This is the first phone that I've used that has the quick settings toggles that is not based on a custom rom like CyanogenMod. Call me crazy, but I can't figure out how to change the quick settings toggles. I searched on Google, but all that is coming up is how to do it on Jellybean, and that method doesn't work for Kit Kat. Am I missing something?
I do not think it is possible to change the quick settings toggles on the stock ROM. It would be a nice addition though.

There is no way in stock android. You need to root and use xposed (assuming you are on 4.2.2 still) or look into the play store. I dont know if this app works on JB - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anttek.quicksettings&hl=en
Otherwise you have to use notification bar toggles - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.j4velin.notificationToggle&hl=en

Is there any way to do this?
Easy

There are a few xposed modules promising to hide NFC in status bar.
xposed framework 2.51 is useable.
Not every module is running correct.
Remember to make a backup while trying - me trying to install xprivaxy had to flash a new rom.....
I am running the dual sim version XT1068, CM12.1 nightly build.
I hate those carrier names or the 'No sim, no service' thing on the lockscreen!
(On 5.0.2 : I tried the well-known method: the "Hide Carrier Label" xposed module.
It hides the carriers names after activating it (& rebooting) for once, but after the screen is turned off or phone switched off, the carrier names get back in their places.
I checked Xposed, modules, app settings, but all appeared fine to me. But it never worked again. )
On 5.1.0 :
Since Xposed is not yet supported (pre-alpha, so bugs&bugs) is there a fix for this?
Ok, I've never looked at a 1068 and don't run a CM rom, but a standard phone setting in "cellular network settings" allows you to show or not show the mobile network name. Or are you talking about more.
I just saw the lockscreen part. There are a bunch of excellent configurable lockscreen replacements on Play and several excellent ones that are completely free.

Would anyone know how to hide the Bluetooth notification symbol in the notification bar? Any help would be appreciated!
Yeah turn it off. On a serious note you can't without root.
I am rooted but still can't seem to remove it

Have you tried xposed or wanam? Those can usually do it. I can't tell you for sure since I'm not rooted.
Wanam xposed
ścribbled from my Note 5
Unfortunately there is no option to remove the Bluetooth symbol with wanam xposed.
I'm not running Xposed anymore nor have I tried this but have you tried Statusbar Icon Hider?
Thanks so much but this has no lolipip support and you can't hide the Bluetooth icon. Shoot. Really appreciate your time though
Recently my operator started supporting VoLTE but the problem is that the icon in the status bar is really annoying ... Can I somehow remove it or hide it without disabling the volte ?
