HTC One (M7) turned into a brick - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi! I have a problem with my HTC One (M7). The phone doesn't power on, doesn't go to fastboot menu, but my computer recognizes it as QHUSB_DLOAD. Can I restore my device without replacing the motherboard or flash memory? If it possible, tell me more about it!

Its most likely an hardware issue if it happened by itself. If it went in QHSUSB_DLOAD directly after flashing something, then try the unbrick project

I can't check if cellphone is in Debugging mode or not because when i turn on the cellphone i see HTC logo and then nothing happens. cell phone is stuck on HTC Logo
Use latest HTC drivers and don't forget to remove HTC Sync if installed. Also try another usb port and another usb cable.
I have installed latest drivers through HTC Sync then UNinstall HTC Sync software
Use 2 different Data cables. Tried different USB ports but every time i attach HTC Incredible S computer can't find any Android Device in device manager. On the other hand when i attach HTC sensation Device manager recognise the android device.
if i cant solve this problem then my guess is that every time i try to run RUU i will get Error 170 so please help me out guy ....

Can you still get to the HBOOT menu? If so, does the device show up if you select the FASTBOOT option on the HBOOT screen?
It should change the screen to FASTBOOT USB mode.

What happns if you select FASTBOOT from that same menu? It should change to FASTBOOT USB and then check Device Manager again.
If so, yes I would go ahead and try running the RUU again.
i did select FastBoot and it changes into FastBoot USB
and then i run RUU RUU_VIVO_SENSE30_S_HTC_WWE_3.11.405.2_Radio_20.4805.30.0822U_3822.01.08.14_M_release_252414_signed_4

Any suggestions?

Well you could put it into HBOOT USB mode and try running the RUU again and see if there is any difference.
when i go for HBOOT USB mode i get
ERROR [120]: MAIN BATTERY POWER
This error message will appear when the Android phone’s battery power is not sufficient (Batter power should be more than 30%). Although RUU will instruct you to plug in the AC adapter, it will still need to make sure that your Android phone has enough power to complete the update. (The Android phone cannot charge the battery when it is connected to the PC while installing the RUU).

Try doing factory reset and then install RUU.

can i use this method?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21046189&postcount=2
Can some one please provide me ROM.zip file only ?
The method is worth a shot.. the Rom.zip file will be here when u are running the RUU.. just copy/paste it on desktop in the process
c:/your user name/appdata/local/temp and search rom.zip

I had something like that before when I tried to go back to stock. Basically I flashed the RUU, got rid of cwm recovery and all that, and I ended up getting stuck on the HTC logo white screen, with it refusing to boot.
I ended up going back to cwmr and a custom ROM.
So maybe the best way for you to be able to use your phone would be to go and put a custom ROM on it. However mine was S-OFF so it was easy for me to flash recovery again, I've forgotten how to go S-OFF from S-ON but you should be able to do it without booting.
However I would also know how to go back to stock.
Yea you can use PG32IMG.ZIP method.
If still not , Unlock your bootloader and install a custom rom.
I will use this method once i get back home
run the ruu again in pc.. and extract the rom.zip from temp folder in pc.. it will be in c drive-your user name-appdata-local-temp and search rom.zip.. rename it to PG32IMG.ZIP make sure its not PG32IMG.ZIP.ZIP

[Q] USB Problem

I have a major problem. I want to restore my HTC One with a RUU file, but my laptop doesn't recognize my HTC One via USB. What can I do for this problem? Please help.
My HTC One is useless right at the moment and stuck at the fastboot screen. Everything is wiped also.

[Q] HTC One Half Bricked?

So, pretty much the title. I'm pretty noobish when it comes to phones, and think i messed it up. I'm currently with Rogers, and what i did i unlocked it, and put the Google Play edition onto my phone, because i personally did not like the Blink Feed. So me being awful with phones, after the update came out for the Google Play 4.4 KitKat, I decided to update the firmware... Not realizing that it would mess my phone up... I have no rom to go back too, which would of probably saved this whole problem... Also another huge problem, my Phone does not want to be found by my computer... I would of just easily fixed it by flashing another rom, but i can't because it doesn't want to be recognized. Basically my phone right now boots up half way to the Google Logo, and then goes to a blue/green screen and stays there till i decide to turn it off.. I can get into bootloader, but that's as far much as i can do... Any help would be awesome, because i'm lost as far as it goes and decided to come here to post about it... Considering this is the best website for phones and whatnot... Thanks ahead of time guys!!
BUMP!
You have to fix your driver issues.. without it can't help. Try a different computer, usb port, usb cable, different htc driver package, anything to get your device detected when running
adb devices
or
fastboot devices (in bootloader/fastboot mode)

The thing is, the only time it can recognize it is when it is in fastboot, it says it's connected but it on the phone but doesn't connect to the computer :/
Interesting... what about changing your HTC drivers. There are a few links floating around. Do you have Windows 7 or 8/8.1?

Sorry for super late reply, fell asleep. Also Windows 7, tried installing different drivers to no avail
Can't help if the phone refuses to respond to fastboot devices in bootloader mode.. or adb devices in custom recovery..

[Q] Brick flashed with m8 rom? - Cannot fastboot/adb and TWRP wont mount my USB

Hey Guys,
you are my last resort of hope as i have given up to fix this problem by myself.
I have an HTC One M7 that i have done a bigger repair on (=new camera, battery, display, backcover). Phone had worked fine so no hardware issues.
After that i decided to set up a new rom to also have a 'clean' system, but after i wiped via TWRP as usual (only data and sdcard...) i accidentally flash an M8 ROM which i had stored on the internal SD card after the wipe.
Of course the installation failed and i was not able to mount my USB-OTG or connect the device by fastboot-USB or ADB. Windows only lists my phone as "Unknown Device".
I am still able to acces TWRP and bootloader, but i cant connect anything to the device to set up a new rom.
Drivers are not the problem in this case, as the HTC One of my friend will enter fastboot-USB and will be found by fastboot just fine. Mine will always show just "Fastboot" and wont be recognized.
After that i have tried several 'fixes' found in other threads, but i think i messed up even harder, as now windows wont recognize anything at all. Also have no luck with linux.
Herei is my data:
*HTC One m7 Unlocked + S-OFF
*CID-02__102
*HBOOT-1.44.0000
*RADIO-4A.14.3250.13 *OpenDSP-v26.120.274.0202
*TWRP 2.8.5.0
*Rom was the lastest Venom Rom
Any idea on how to solve this problem? I run out of ideas and think i am stuck with a bricked phone...
Would be so easy if TWRP would just let me boot my USB
Thanks in advance to everyone willing to give me a hint!
Greetings to you all!
Dont you have a nandroid backup?

Problem after miflash

Hey guys, I need your help, I bricked my phone yesterday, and trying to solve it I used miflash, but now that the process finished my phone only vibrate and show a green light and then start a loop , and my pc wont recognizes my phone, somebody can help me please?
sorry for my bad english
Could you give more info? Which phone, what bricked the phone, bootloader locked/unlocked, what do you see in device manager on your PC?
Are you able to go into fastboot?
There's another user dealing with a bricked phone currently here, see if anything there helps you out. Link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/zuk-z2-pro/help/zuk-z2-booting-anymore-restore-t3539804

So in the last days I bricked my z2 pro by closing the bootloader with a custom installed, and to solve the problem I put it in EDL mode and I used the flash mi, but now when I press the power button it just vibrates and flashes a green Led, but it does not turn on, I already tried several combinations of buttons to get into fastboot and nothing, and when I plugged the usb into the pc it shows nothing
