No matter where I download them from all I get is some useless PowerPoint program? I admit to not rooting a device since my note 3 but I don't understand why when I keep trying to download the nexus 6 drivers all I get is an empty PowerPoint thing. I could use some help here please. Thanks!

It's free online storage for files for you. They give you 2gb to start with

Dropbox is a cloud storage solution that allows you to store your files in the cloud and be able to access them anywhere across all of your devices (so as long as you have the application). It's similar to Microsoft SkyDrive and Box. You get 2GB free, and you can buy more storage later if you need it. Some OEMs have deals with Dropbox to net you more storage (Like HTC and Samsung, but only for specific devices, too). It's harmless and provides a safe haven for your files.

Hi,
I own a Focus S in the UK but I cannot get Internet sharing working because it's tied to AT&T. Is there a Registry key that can be deleted or modified so it can be used here in the UK please?

assuming you have the device unlocked
search for, download and install WP Root tools and WinTT, make sure WinTT gets root privileges and then in WinTT there is an option to turn on Wifi ICS
you know there is a post I made on this very site telling you want to do, in fact, im fairly sure there are several on this site
Here
Hi,
Thanks for response. I have done this but each time I enable IT it asks me to contact AT&T. There must be a reg key somewhere which does this, but finding it....

I need to root "using Mac OS" 10.5.8 (using terminal or?) for AT&T Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900A. Please continue developing the rooting for this device. With all due appreciation and respect for de la vega and XDA devel., Chainfire et. al. I really need a simple rooting procedure for the Mac that will not delete or change any data, settings, or apps. on the phone. (like the T-mobile rooting).
Last years' ATT Note ''2" rooting by galaxynote2.com with others was simply brilliant!! Please don't stop refining and provide help with the Mac OS for ATT Note 3 as soon as you can. I have great admiration for all the folks who create these work throughs. They make life so much more productive and give hope to the masses. Thanks for the fantastic jobs and I hope to see a clean and simple procedure for the N900A with Mac any day now! I'll keep looking back every day. Much much obliged.
as far as I can tell heimdall doesn't support the note 3 yet.
I will use parallels and or virtual box unless that's been used with no success?

I don't think hiemdall has a note 3 update also yet. With the note "2" ATT rooting, the entire process files only took less than 50mb of data (using a Mac)! de la vega for some reason not only erases everything but is 2.2GB in size. Appreciate the start, but there must be a better and more efficient way. Hope the wizards write a more optimal program soon. I have to wait. It's hard!
I don't care how much bandwidth I consume root makes me a very happy camper even if I'm stuck mac os till tax time. Caught a great deal on Craigslist an Apple novelty store was going out of business selling G5 macs for 100 bucks fully loaded couldn't pass it up. But I now realize how it is a pain in the arse to do things on these things... thanks for root package again DG is always their to impress me

I've not had success flashing with Parallels in the past.
Rooting might be a different story; although, if you get to a step that involves rebooting your device - tread lightly. Mac OS will initialize the device before Parallels.
I will confirm that I made a soft brick using VMFusion and Windows XP, ended up using my Windows 8 machine worked fine then.
Rooted fine on Mac using parallels 9 with Windows 7. Install Samsung USB drivers for Windows and you are set.

Just a guess on my part but virtual machines have traditionally had trouble with serial devices, even enterprise level VMs have this not the freebie desktop ones.
That said I'd recommend giving up 20GB of your drive by making a bootcamp partition and running Windows natively.

Hi folks,
I installed Android Nougat in my Nexus 6 lately and everything thinks to work fine. But my problem is now, that I'm not able to fake my GPS Position without Apps noticing it. I was able to do so with Marshmallow using Xposed Framework but it's not yet available for Nougat.
Anyone knows how to do this on Nougat?
And no, it's not about Pokémon Go!
Thanks in advance!

what are you trying to hide by faking your GPS?
Nobody cares about your need for Pokemon Go hacks!

It's NOT about Pokémon Go as I said in my posting above, maybe you should train your reading skills a bit @pr0ndigy!
But it's because of a different game, it's called Landlord. But it should not matter why I wanna do this. If you know a solution, I would be very grateful if you tell me how...
