[Q] what hardcase are you waiting for?

Hey guys,
Just wondering which case are you guys waiting to be made. Personally I want the otterbox one.

I am waiting for both otttercase and casemate

none of the above, as it will make the phone too thick

I can't wait to see the otterbox ones. The defender for nexus one looks cool and the commuter for the samsung galaxy s looks great too. i like bigger phones. this phone is great, but doesn't fit my hand right, kinda like having a computer mouse thats to tiny.

Asked otterbox if they're making a case and got this email.
"We do not have any information if a case will be made at this time for that device, but it is something that has been requested. I have put in a product suggestion on your behalf, and recommend keeping an eye on our website, as it will have the most up to date information on any new releases that we may have."

Even I would like to wait for casemate, the ones for nexus one on their site looks awesome

Thought that I would share this for anyone else that is looking for a case that does not cost a lot and will do the job.

i bought one of these at a cellphone store for cheap, like 5$. Terrible quality though, you get what you pay for. Oh and when i pulled my tab out i got a black stain on the white back panel, so be careful. IMO, cancel the order and find something else. Your tab deserves better.

Meh.....quality means nothing to me for cases as long as they do what it is meant to do. As for my Tab.....I do not know how your Tab is white but mine has a black carbon fiber design on the back.

The international and I think Sprint (?) tabs have a white back. You can see the international ones in the latest Samsung tab TV ads. I asked our Samsung rep about them last time I saw him. He told me they were the internationals, FYI.

The leather case looked not very well,But it's cheap.

Found it this morning... First slider style I have seen, if it is like the same style one as my I9000 case, it has rubberized coating and very thin. It really has been the best case i have found...
so heres to hopeing...
I will post pics when it comes in...

Got mine today. It's pretty excellent.
I got the red one. The color is great. It's like color changing red/black.
Fit is great too, no wiggle.
Feels great in the hand.
I do think the "rubber" feel of this slider case can scratch off.

Decalskin.com 3M Vinyl skin for the Nexus S and 4G.

I'm not much on "phone-bling" and this is the first time I have even thought about putting a skin on my phone, but while perusing e-bay, I stumbled across this skin and really liked it. It was only $7.95 shipped, so I figured why the hell not.
Once they arrived (Got one for my dad's LG Ally as well), I was pleased to find they are made with the 3M Controltac vinyl and not some el-cheapo stuff you find on other skins. The skins went on without much fuss and (to me) look very nice. Decalskins, of course have several different designs to choose from, but this is the one I liked the most. They also allow you to download a free wallpaper to match.
The skin works fine with my clear snap on case as well. All-in-all I'm pretty happy. Of course it goes without saying, this doesn't offer much in the way of protection. But it does make the phone less slick, and as I said above, it works with the clear cases you can find on Amazon and eBay. NOTE: It does hide the bottom touch key lights, so this probably isn't of use to those running BLN. But it doesn't affect operation at all.
I know it's not everybody's cup of tea, and that's fine, but I figured I'd throw a quick review up for those interested.

I bough one from geliskins and I though it will make it less slippery but it was the opposite. Is it any better?

Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with Gelaskins, but I can tell you, this skin is a lot less slippery than just the stock back. I swear that thing can be used as a non-stick baking sheet.

Go to www.dealextreme.com or dx.com and they have several inexpensive cases for the Google Nexus 7; probably from the same sources as all those eBay sellers.
As an example I have bought, in the past, a soft TPU case for my S2 (at around three bucks! :silly and I preferred it to an Otterbox... But I believe it's a hit or miss; some other products are crappy.
I bought this (here) and I am waiting for delivery; I will post a review when I get it. Seems OK however.

Looks great. Doesn't look like the flap will stay closed though since there aren't any magnets on the outside rim.

Hmmm, true.
Maybe (hopefully) it's a 'friction' closure?
I could always put a fabric elastic around it I guess, kinda like in the moleskine note books ....
Edit: on some of the pictures, it almost looks like it has an elastic; when you look at the edge, on the cover that does not have the hole, it almost seems there are seams for an elastic, that has been put away for the picture?

Not a fan of pink haha.

That pink one has an elastic strap closure, you can just see it in the enlarged pictures on the vendors site.
