How to flash:
1) Boot into latest TWRP and Format Data (Wipe > Format DATA > Yes) - This step is essential, and will wipe Internal Storage (Downloads, Music, Photos etc, **backup important files**)
2) Transfer ROM to SDCARD or Internal Storage. This may be done in Windows via MTP, or using adb sideload or adb push ROM.zip /sdcard/
3) TWRP > Wipe > Factory reset and flash ROM.
4) Reboot.
5) Call / WiFi issues can be solved by flashing 5.1 Radio Firmware (Below) for your Model.

Wi-Fi Sleep policy: Never. (Changed via Settings > Wi-Fi > Advanced) - Check Battery stats occasionally | some Apps will force Wi-Fi to be always on
Bugs:
When flashing, I get the following: "E:Error executing updater binary in zip"
This is a custom recovery bug. Try restarting recovery and flashing again. Alternatively you may need to:
TWRP > Wipe > Format Data > Yes
Note: This will delete anything on internal storage - photos, music, videos etc.
Calls, Data or WiFi not working?
These ROMs require the latest Radio Firmware included with Lollipop. See instructions in FAQ below and OP for new Radio files.
Xposed Framework and Android 5.1
I cannot provide support for the use of Xposed Framework. It is still a highly experimental work-in-progress MOD with no official release.

What is this Collection?
All of these ROMs are created from the Motorola 4G Factory Firmware images. A pure source, unlike a dump of an OTA Updated system; the upgrading process patches, moves or deletes system files. The result is possibly bugs being introduced, and files being left over. These ROMs are completely clean, and any bugs you find are genuine Android issues.
Why does my screen ripple | flicker?
This is due to compatibility issues between KitKat Bootloader and the Lollipop Kernel. Turn screen off once to fix. Upgrade Bootloader easily with: Bootloader Upgrader Tool
How do I update to the Lollipop Radio Firmware?
Note: Phone must be in Bootloader mode.
Update your current Radio Firmware by downloading and extracting the correct file from OP, and using the following mFastboot commands: (Simply put all files together in same folder - SDK not required) (USB Drivers (Windows))
mfastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin

In the past, I have flashed a 4.4.4 ROM to update my XT1039 from 4.4.3, and I discovered that the modem (baseband/radio) wasn't updated (and the sdcard bug was still present.)
I had to flash the "mfastboot ROM" to fully update it.
I don't know if it the same with these ROMs, but it is maybe wiser to update first with a "mfastboot ROM", then flash a ROM from this thread, just to be on the safe side.
If someone that have flashed a ROM from this thread can confirm that the modem was updated/not updated, that would be great.
@mooms - In my experience with non-LTE Moto G, 4.4.2 or newer radio functions fine with Lollipop. I can make radio firmware available as a separate flash-able zip if necessary.
FYI, there is no need to flash an entire fastboot firmware image just to update your radio. The following commands are enough:
mfastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
mfastboot erase modemst1
mfastboot erase modemst2
mfastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn

Can you explain more about the SDCARD bug as I'm not aware of it? There's no mention in the LTE FAQ. I've created the ROMs by extracting the available firmware images and making changes.
I flashed this XT1040 Stock and it is working great. Great battery life but stock performance is a bit laggy as always. I suppose the optimized version is even better.
Everything works. No bugs no nothing.
By the i flashed it just like I used to flash the stock kk, in bootloader through cmd prompt.

The Moto G 4G had issues recognizing some class 10 µSD cards, it was fixed with 4.4.4 ROM. It was well discussed here, but it is buried since it was some months ago.

If you want to make your own ROM, take one of the 'Untouched' zips from here, extract it - remove / add / modify and rezip and flash to test. Edit install script and build.prop to change ROM name.

Yes, no permanent changes are made by flashing this ROM. Bootloader and Radio are not touched.

The newer Versions XXUGOE and XXUGOF have in it´s original form the problem with an FC close on gapps and/or Playstore. The real reason is still unknown for me. Some peoples clear the
apps-list in the apps-Manager, but this never helped me. The last known version without this issue is XXUGOC. There is a strange issue with or without update the gapps.
Another issue is the Samsung Stockbrowser on OE and OF Versions: By trying to open the browser, there is something wrong with the automated google-account-signin.
So the Stock-Browser never opens and the next FC shows up. At the moment the "fix" is using Chrome instead Samsung Browser. I guess some config variables are incorrectly set on the latest versions by samsung itself. ? Cache Cleanings and other tricks are not helping for this 2 issues.

I don't want to be rude, it's just a comparison for those who are wondering 1st pic is before flashing OOS 3.2.6 modem on Orion OS. The 2nd is after. But, the WiFi is connecting faster than before IMO.
EDIT: Don't flash 3.2.6, it'll break fingerprint as it's a firmware.... :/

I think not.... The Chinese Version has other Modems from the HydrogenOS!
It should really be mentioned that these are actually firmware images, not exclusively modem files. Just as an FYI to anyone considered flashing these.

I had the same prob. Flash back your old modem and fingerprint will work again.

All who have Problems with Fingerprint Sensor, flash back to 3.2.4!
The CM devs or other must Patches Files to get it Working with 3.2.6 Modem.

I recommend the 3.2.4 its stable for now, i used it ....you Can try an older one and you can See what the best for you. Dont try 3.2.6 its Break your Fingerprint Sensor because the changes with the Firmware/Modems, to get it working, the devs must fix this in their ROMs like CM, RR and others...

Can anyone help me please? I am unable to root my S5 900H which is on latest update 1 day ago 6.0.1 . I tried 4-5 times using ODIN but even after ODIN showing I was successful, the phone doesnt go into TWRP. i know i am doing something wrong but not sure where. Here is what i am doing.
1) Downloaded TWRP recovery (3.0.2 and even tried previous version 3.0)
2) Started ODIN 3.09 (also did on 3.12 latest)
3) Put Recovery.tar.md5 file in AP and clicked Start
4) Successful message confirmation and phone reboots itself
5) Vol Up + Home + Power button and it goes into Default Android recovery.
6) Knox meter shows 1 instead of 0
So what am i doing wrong? Could it be my USB cable? its not original, but ODIN recognizes the phone and says successful at the end.

Please follow these steps also...
1. Uncheck the auto reboot option in odin while flash recovery.
2. When flash completed remove the battery and then reinsert after 5 seconds.
3. Now press vol up+ home+power button together. You are in twrp now.
Hope it will work as worked for me.

As an ex sony user (x8 s sp z1 z3) .this is my first samsung device. This thread helped me alot specially owning a device after 3 years from release is not a good idea.
Juste a note : this G900h feels like a downgrade compared to xperia z1 and z3 in terms of speed ,snappiness and real life performance. The only thing i find better in s5 is the screen and rear camera.
Hi all i got problem with my g900H .
My s5 No service and no signal, sometimes emergency calls only . Os:stock rom 6.0.1 official .
I hv my imei number, got APN but when searching network not found anything.
Click select automatic network its said unable to connect.

Hi. Please my g900h version 6.0.1 has a serious flickering problem at low lights level on my screen.
When the luminosity is high, the flickering goes away.
Any help on this issue???
