Im currently on Euphoria ROM, which has (of course) aosp keyboard baked in.
Since I'm a dutch user and I want gesture input, I need to have the Dutch dictionary installed.
Adding it from the settings isn't possible.
Please help me on adding it manually.
In not interested in installing another keyboard (for now).
I sure hope it can be done.
Thanks for any help given!
I tried to install Greek dictionary with no success. I would also like to know how it's done...

I've seen several threads about this issue and I have managed to get my Diamond to work with Hebrew - here is how:
First, I'm using the Don Salari ROM v4.6 Lite ROM
Next, install Resco Keyboard v5.23 set the secondary language to Hebrew (there are many other languages that should work as well)
Next install file called - heb_fonts_all.cab (look it up on google) - soft reset
Next install file called - arabizer.cab - softreset
that's it. got hebrew and all.
I assume it should work with other languages like arabic but with supporting fonts.
Enjoy.
If you want working hebrew just do the following
Install new ROM (any rom)
Install Hebrewenabled.cab (by the_dude_was_here)
Install FingerKeyb.cab (from the applications forum)
Install Heb_MUI_manila.cab (optional, if you want the entire manila in hebrew)
this works perfectly, to get the hebrew cab and hebrew manila, I suggest going to Htcaddicts.co.il, which has them all.
Good luck.

Does your solution work on 6.5 or only 6.1?
In terms of writing and viewing hebrew correctly, yes, if you mean that it translates the entire WM6.5 GUI into hebrew, then no, it only translates the Manila.
And from what I tried, it works both on 6.1 and 6.5, but the Manila translation is only for version 2.1, 2.5 is not translated yet.
Hello , i live in Israel and i want to buy an htc wilfire.
there is a shop that sells it and the shop's name is "E-Line", they offer an upgrade to android 2.2 for money [ because they add Hebrew support (keyboard + fonts)].
So i have a few questions:
1) The most important one: do you think they make an official update provided by HTC or install a custom ROM? (I'd like to root it after a few months of usage and i heard that i can't root the original froyo)
2) Is there any ROM (except "SUnAaBh" ) that HAS Hebrew support? (I'd prefer to buy on android 2.1 and change ROM by myself to 2.2, and save money)
If the answer to (2) is "NO" than:
3) Is there any way to install Hebrew keyboard and fonts onto a cusom ROM? (Please give a link or an explanation on how to do it)
As for the upgrade they "provide", there's no way to know if it's the official one or not.
Well, not with the information you (and probably they) have given.
About Hebrew support, Android 2.1 can't display hebrew glyphs (they're simply not implemented in the font) but it's relatively trivial to fix, and there's even a script on iandroid.co.il that does it for you (but you have to be rooted and your rom must be de-odexed).
Unfortunately this is my first post so I can't post outside links I'll PM you the forum thread for the script if you want. (or you can just google it)
Android 2.2 can display hebrew glyphs natively without any sort of patching, so you're not required to use specifically SUnAaBh or whatever
As for the hebrew keyboard, you just need an extra keyboard app that supports hebrew layouts, the ones I know of are AnySoftKeyboard (free) and Smart Keyboard Pro (costs .99$ I believe).
I should mention that both Android 2.1 and 2.2 have a bug that cause certain applications (notably gmail) to display hebrew words reversed, the script I mentioned also contains a fix for that, as does the Cyanogen rom.
thanks, you've helped me
Hello,
The LG keyboard on froyo contained Hebrew on my rom, unlike the current roms.
How can I import this keyboard to my current rom(Zeus)?
I tried importing by TitaniumBackup but the Hebrew disappeared.
I attach LG keyboard's files(apk+odex), maybe deodexing is needed.
Thanks in advance!
the languageĀ“s are stored in the framework-res.apk so thats why it didn't work though titanium backup
(CMIIW)
So, How can I import my language from froyo to gingerbread? (I used morelocale2 to change the locale of my phone but it didn't add my language.)
Hello,
I would like to use original Croatian keyboard layout in non-Croatian CSC ROMs?
latest rom with Croatian keyboard & Swype is I9001BOKP9_I9001DTMKP4_DTM although it is not Croatia CSC (in fact it has ONLY German DTM code)..
so what to rip out and then inject in any other ROm (or in Android booted up)?
I think copying AxT9IME.apk from the Croatian rom to your current rom would be plenty. if not please correct me.
btw: lol at your avatar, no brain******* ^^
I get that plenty at work so please, without that "action" here, thank you
where is that file?
System/ app
Sorry doesn't work..
I also backed up with Titanium - Samsung keyboard, Swype and anything called input from german I9001BOKP9 ROM, tried on value pack ROM, Lion ROM, Moon ROM - installed Titanium (phone rooted of course) and restored those files, but keyboard doesn't have Croatian layout as option..
also manually copied A9IPK files (apk & odex) but no can do...
