Hey,
what about a Paranoid-Android ROM for our I9305 by me?
Would you flash it ?
It will be Lolipop
Sources are syncing
I'd give it a try
With pleasure , at least to test . But i have to warn you, building AOSPA is a hell of a shiet , i tried once, a new error at each build tentative. There was another guy that tried building it , same. Good luck mate
Sources were downloaded an now repo sync starts

I was able to compile fine but it was stuck at aospa bootanimation

I will flash it but you need to give more details about whats working/not working and features.
You may try to port I9300 official one. Much easier than building new one
Hi,
Bad news. A lot of build errors. I am going to compile in official cm.
Sorry

Hey guys,
I plan to port CM10 to this device. I have heard about several problems related to the Intel CPU including Moto libs, drivers, etc.). Anyone who tried that already, can you please report your exeriences here?
I guess a good starting point would be to rebuild several libs, trying to run the CM Framework "on top" of the Moto "baserom". Can still follow my point? Sorry, I don't speak enough English to explain my plan more detailed..
Did Moto already release Rom sources? As I heard the kernel source was released so Matt was able to unpack the kernel, am I right?
Thanks in advance!!
Kernel sources
Moto already released the kernel sources. You can find the in github
http://sourceforge.net/projects/razr-i.motorola/files/razr-i/
As far as i know, devs had been tryng to use the sources, but there's always build problems.
Although, i dont know anybody that have tried with the 9.8.2I-50_SMI-26 kernel, supposedly of Jelly Bean.
I cant help you much more, im not a dev ):
i wish u could bring Cyanogenmod to the Razr i.....theres not much i can help with, but i wish you luck!!
By the title, I tought it really was a CM10 ROM ready to be downloaded... oh well, i'll keep searching...
AW: CM10 port
Sorry for confusion here. But there is nor CM10 for this device out there. That's why I want to do this.

Well... you can use the french Jelly Bean firmware as the base for CM10... it's rolling right now!
Please change the title so that it is not misleading.
All needed files for a running x86 motorola jb rom should be found here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/razr-i.motorola/files/razr-i/9.8.2I-50_SMI-26/
AW: CM10 port
This will take a while... I have to work on other projects too. This project is difficult as I'm working almost blind... No RAZR I device.
The Moto jb could be a solution..
Someone has sent me a PN to tell me about this update. I have to apologize because I thought he was talking about the RAZR.

Hello !
Bought a razr i few days ago to replace my old Xperia x10 that I'll keep to continue dev cm10 and other stuffs on it...
Think I'll be able to port cm10 on razr but it'll take time....started working on razr JB rom. The whole framework needs to be modded and maybe the kernel ramdisk...then it'll be a "simple" port with "cm look "
But... If razr i device sources can be available then a real cm10 build from sources could be done.
Read things have been already done for that by turl1
Let's see

Check with hiemanshu. He has an almost working Liquid Smooth, shouldn't be too different and a good starting point, I imagine.
Just a few news about cm10 compiling ...
Had a little free time and managed to download sources from motorola, implement them in cm10 sources ... and fixing few errors ...
Started a build with Motorola instructions ...
Facing few problem with toolchain that are different for x86 ... didn't had time to go further .
Will post again later to tell you about progress ... if there are some

Am I right? You want theme the stock rom that it looks like CM10? That is not a port and no CM10. There chooser won't work then and some other stuff too.
I think we should try working together to bring this project up to work. What do you think?

Good news! Usual tool chain won't work with Intel architecture... But I guess it could work with gcc/normal make by just editing the makefiles - if you want to build the whole rom it should be OK with some modifications. What do you think about working together?

Hello!
Yes with gcc/normal make it works with cm roms I use brunch command which works too
Took turl1's repo as base for the device and build environnement is ok.
Now it needs Motorola stuffs... The build stopped cause there are no include yet.
Will update my repo with what I've done so that we could work together
And yes building from sources is the best way to get better things

If you mean incomplete download or corrupted zip you can verify md5 if given by rom creator

In android device emulator you can test.
The other questions answer beni_defconfig is for galaxy fit.
Its the kernel config file in sources. For ace its cooper_defconfig.
Btw which rom you use as base or do you want compile from sources?

ok...so...if isn't hard as hell to compile a kernel, and if someone could teach me, i think i can manage to do it.
othervise, im using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2561861 this rom, and all i want to do ( for the moment ) , is change the kernel to read ext part. Just like the kernel used by The Ultimatum rom or NKVY rom, as it give u the chance, when install, to choose btw the ext part or the internal memory. and its not useing any link/app2sd apk.
Plus, one more question good sir How hard is it to make the kernel from lets say htc or xperia and change it to work on Ace ?

The problem is that the kernel built in the rom is still based on 4.4.2, don't know why, but in future we hope this issue will be solved. For now you have diffrerent solutions:
1) You can flash a custom kernel, like ak kernel, franco..
2) you can flash this wifi fix http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53132436&postcount=6487
3) someone says that flashing the stock boot.img by google will solve the issue, but I personally haven't tried..
OK thanks for explaining.
I think I'll wait until the kernel will delivered Witz an nightly.

Great, I flashed my Nexus 4 with the current nightly omni-4.4.3-20140611-mako-NIGHTLY.zip and now WLAN works again!!!
Thanks for your support!
:good:
Sorry about that one. Normally, after an update like this, the kernel, device tree, and blobs are merged all at once when a maintainer has time.
But someone merged the device tree changes without telling anyone else and didn't merge kernel/blobs. I saw no blob/kernel changes and assumed no device tree changes, so was scratching my head trying to figure out why things broke until I finally looked and noticed that the device tree HAD been merged.
(I have been extremely busy the past week so didn't have time to look at it for a while.)
Hello , i'm trying at the moment to build Aokp Kitkat from source for our device according to this tutorial But i can't find the device source/repo , can someone help me please?
Thanks
Edit : Found it , starting the sync
I hope its pure aokp . The only pure ROM on here I have seen is CyanogenMod. All the other have had mods cherry picked from other ROMs

@aaz03 hows the compiling coming along????
I just wanted to kindly ask if anyone is already working on porting cm 12.1 for the Z3+
I think about buying it but cm support is crucial for me.
Please don't answer that I can do it myself... It is far beyond my knowledge but I would be happy to donate for someone porting it ?

+1 for anxiously awaiting CM 12.1 for my Z3+
Me too, still... Stock Rom seems even slower than cm on my old xperia z (even when cold)
I currently have aosp built and running, I doubt CM would be hard to get working from there.
Until sony releases the modem firmware or I can figure out how to get it loaded properly I don't think it will be worth it as you won't be able to make calls / texts or browse the internet
Any news on this front? Or any hope that speed picks up when Z5 is released since it's essentially the same apart from the camera?

I have a build of cm12.1 that gets halfway through the boot process, but fails to boot correctly because the kernel needs to be compiled inline due to some cm specific idiosyncrasies - using a prebuilt kernel doesn't work. However the inline kernel build errors.
I've been working on other things. I'll get back to cm12.1 once I've sorted the other things out.
Sounds promising I'm willing to test once it gets in a bootable state and also to donate for a working cm
The only reason i'm spammng the update button is because of that little hope of seeing "UNOFFICAL CM12.1 released". That day i'll call sick on work
@dl12345 , Hey man, since you now are my complete saviour, supplying proper root, and working TWRP.. anything I can do to help CM12.1 along? As you know, E6553 model, and eagerness to help out
Is this It finally? http://developer.sonymobile.com/201...GB_en&utm_content=Developer_World-PROGM-Nov15
According to the AOSP thread, baseband is online now ? @dl12345 are you still with us? I really hope so or that someone else is able to make cm for this device finally. I would still be more than happy to start a bounty for it.
