Poetic Revolution case for Note 5

This is my very first Poetic case so if I miss out anything, please feel free to add to this review
Two piece, I had quite a hard time taking the case apart,

but installing was much easier.
What gave me all that trouble was actually the protective port seal
Looks very protective alright, stylus hole is huge
Actual shot in hand
Definitely a very manly phone, small hands beware.
Weight
heavy
Button shots
Not a big fan of the buttons, you can barely feel their existance
Top shot
Kickstand
My favorite feature of the entire case
Conclusion:
Rugged case, feels safe to drop from hip high (not gonna go higher, sorry).
Look-wise can't complain.
Installing and removing the case is a pain, so I probably would not change case as often.
Can't fit into pockets but it is impossible to drop this phone with its grippiness.
I like the hole; I can hang phone around my neck and also hang it with my key.
Not water-proof but gives a decent dust-proof.
Kickstand is great for video but not for standing straight up (no big deal)
Well, that is all folks, hope this helped making up someone's mind.

I reviewed it too... my only gripe with it was the kickstand which is metal and I think the only cause - of making it not work with wireless charging.

I've got one of these coming in next week and was aggravated about not being able to use the wireless charger, even though I only use wireless at night. But in the end, a friend of mine has this case for his 6s plus, and I really like it, so if it means I go without wireless so be it.

That plastic screen protector though. Fingerprint heaven and grease! Why doesn't anyone make a case that is tight fitting with a 9h protector so that it doesn't do the grease under screen issue?! Ugh.
How easy is the protector popped out?

Agreed with the fingerprint heaven. They don't make a case with 9h because they can make more money with them sold separately? Protector is actually pretty difficult to pop out.

I was able to pop the screen protector off pretty easily. I had a hardertime getting my screen protetor off my otterbox. The S pen is very difficult to pop out of this case. at least getting it out quickly is not happening. definitely like the case though.

I found leaving my stylus clicked out allowed the case to still close completely and makes it a lot easier to remove the stylus when needed.
Also cut the loop off mine. ?

ha, I was gonna cut the loop off, just hadn't gotten to it, looks way better

Cases that are supposed to protect the camera

This is important because the camera is raised and might be easily scratched.
Please add links in replies (and if you have received the case, a review)

Nillken TPU case, ebay looks like raised circle around camera

amazon.co.uk/dp/B01LEQTIOM/ref=pe_1909131_77697121_tnp_email_TE_AMZLdp_2 I received this case a few days ago, it has the all important raised ring around the camera, feels pretty durable without adding much bulk, certainly better than the 99p eBay cases I've bought for phone's in the past. It fits very tightly too which I'm happy with but could prove a bit annoying if you're planning to be removing it a lot to use Moto mods. It also has a cutout where the pins are for the Moto mods although I'm not sure what the point in this is seeing as they don't fit on top of it, all in all though I'm very happy with it, I got it in gold to match the metal sides and I don't think it looks too tacky either.

The bump was little big than the normal. Does the case helps to protect the bump??

Nillikin case has a hump to cover the camera completely

I got this a few days ago. Fits well, and has a little bump for the camera to keep it elevated slightly. Working great so far.

To add to this, I've got a IVSO slim hard shell case (which I think is the same as the Nillken) that fits very well, is nice and grippy and has a raised lip to protect the camera

I got a bumper with aluminium and sliding back case it gives strong hold for the phone. It is stylish and have protection to phone.

Back side is a slide. You can remove and attach mods. I have style mod that fits with bumper.

Looks nice but unless I'm wrong that doesn't protect the camera at all.

I'm extremely surprised and pleased with the quality and presentation of this case. Plus it comes with 2. Highly recommended!

hi can somebody give me link to buy a tempered glass screen protector for nexus 6 which does not cover proximity sensor? i have searched ebay but could not find any that eet this criteria.

This is what I always buy and it does not cover the sensor. It works great!

I used to have the same exact one. It was pretty much perfect imho.
I managed to crack it around christmas though and never got around to getting a new one.
Of course I also managed to get a small nick in my screen after that.

Are the borders black like in picture?
Is it better to stick or mask the detach on the borders?
What about the use with a cover? Does it spot a gap from the borders?
Sorry for all those questions, but I'm evaluating to buy this because all the screen protectors I tried doesn't stick perfectly

This screen protector works great trust me! It will work with any case you wanna use . And it sticks good! I guarantee you will like it!

The borders are black like in the picture to hide any slight ghosting that might occur close to the edges due to the Nexus 6's slightly curved edges.
Depends on your cover I suppose. I used to have a Ringke Slim on mine and that worked fine. Especially since both the edges of the case as well as the screen protector is slightly raised above the actual screen it'd be pretty hard for something to actually damage the small areas that aren't covered.

Perfect, I have a ringke max case now and I'm waiting for a cruzerlite bug droid one. I bought a cheap Amazon screen protector, but it's not good and doesn't stick on the sides. I will buy intelliarmor pro and try

They are great! Great quality and sticks great to the border, also doesn't cover proximity sensor.

Q: Tech21 Evo check case

Was wondering if the above mentioned case has a slight sticky tacky feel to it which I like.?
I remember the Tech21 Mesh series ones on older Samsung devices had a wonderful slight tacky sticky feel to thier edges of the cases. Thanks.

Cheers. Was looking for something with a slightly sticky tackey edges.
I think it was the Mesh series Tech21 I had for the S7 , edges were orange colored and had a slight sticky tacky feel to it.

I've been using this case since day one. I tried a few others, but keep coming back to it. It's a great case. I'm not sure about tacky, but it is not slick. I've never even come close to dropping my phone.
Just one word of warning. My wife got the white Evo Check, and the white yellowed pretty quickly. We just threw it away and got a cheap case on Amazon for her. My black case is still in perfect shape.

I primarily use a leather type folding case on the N8, but have tried a few regular cases which I find in all honesty uncomfortable to hold for long.
I find the edge tpu plastic or whatever it is hard to the touch. Was hoping to find a case that has soft compressible sides. The skins are soft and pliable but the edges are too thin for protection.

I found the s pen and USB port protection is little or inadequate. It's exposed.

OPPO FIND X Case Thread

As with most phones that aren't from companies located in Cupertino or Korea,accessories in general,especially those specific to this phone,will be sparse at best.
To make things easier for all here,thought I'd start a case thread,hoping all who have this phone will post a link/pics of what they have. (FWIW,I don't plan on using a case full-time,but,it's better to have one available & not need it vs the alternative)............

The mfg supplied cases typically have a great fit & as functionality goes, can't be beat.
TBH I'm typically not a case fan, preferring a clear body skin only.
I will pick up a case or two if the price is right, just for those instances when I need it.
Also, I switch phones quite frequently & usually keep all of the mfg supplied accessories in the box, never using them, for the benefit of a future buyer.

I currently have that case and it works awesome!!! protects the entire phone while still allowing the camera to function

I don't like the bottom part of this case. Is it possible to put the case that come from the box and use the top red part of this other case? (if i cut the 2 red bars that slides into the body case)

Maybe, but the bottom of the gkk case is also protecting the screen since it's raised

All sides case
I've got the case above which protects all four sides (and the back). The top clips on magnetically.
Incidentally, it also works rather well with this and gives the phone wireless charging. The pad fits INSIDE the case and all you see is a tiny silver USB "plug" at the bottom of the case.

I picked up one of the Oppo cases from liaow. I really like it:
- finish is matte with tiny pinpoint holes which gives it some grip but not too much to make it sticky
- Oppo logo is a shiny metal insert
- find X logo is embossed and barely noticeable
- fit is perfect and barely adds any size
- it will provide some protection but clearly not against big falls etc. Corners only cover bottom but not top obviously. The sides do not protrude in front of screen.
I was tired of watching the phone slide off every surface so this case stops that. It also looks classy imo.
