Hi all, How are you?
I have a Moto X 2014 ( XT1097) with Android 6.0 (build MPE24.49-18), and Its wifi tether stopped working since Android 6.0 upgrade.
Wifi tether worked fine before Android 6.0 upgrade. After upgrading to Android 6.0 , then Wifi tether has stopped working. When I try to enable Wifi tether, then it shows the message "turning on wifi router" indefinitely.
I have tried to fix this issue executing the steps described on post bellow, but it did not work:

Please, May someone help me?
I appreciate any help you can give me

I have the same problem
I did factory reset several times, and It did not fix the issue.
Please, May some one help me?
I have done factory reset several times, and It did not work.
My note 5 is the duos version, imported in Romania from Taiwan (SM_9208) After updating to Marshmallow yesterday, everything worked fine except for on thing: it doesn't find my Wi-Fi network from home anymore and the only way I can connect to it is by going to,, add network " and manually inserting the ssid and PASSWORD because it doesn't appear on the available networks list. Thst means that every time I turn my wireless off and then on, I have to repeat that process.
I haven't had the chance to try any other WiFi network, but I tried with other phones to connect to the network and they found it and connected to it without any problem. Furthermore, any third party app like WiFi analyser is able to see the network.
Do you guys have any idea how I could possibly solve this?
Thank you and have a wonderful day!
Try to backup your phone and then do a factory reset.
I factory reset after update OTA and everything work perfect.
uhm... does n9208 has update for MM already? if you have links kindly share tnx in advance
I tried doing the factory reset and it still has that problem.
And I did receive the update yesterday through OTA.
Other suggestions? Thank you, guys!

First, try clearing the cache again. If it still does not work, the update may have downloaded improperly so some file are corrupted. It will continue to use the same corrupted files even if you reset. Have your tried flashing the stock Taiwan Rom using Odin?
//LATER EDIT: I finally made it work by simply changing the wireless network's name. For some reason, my phone wouldn't find the network with its default name.
Hi guys,
I am having an issue with my p10.
There are some times where wifi despite being on it stops working, and only rebooting fixes the problem.
It happens with more than one wifi network.
If anyone has a clue to fix this please advise...
Thank you!
Hi, have you fixed the issue? I'm facing the same problem now - wifi stops working and my p10 is unable to search for any network. Before last o/s update only restart would fix the problem, now i have to turn wifi off and on again, but still...
Thanks...it works
I have the same problem.... I do not realize why but after some time my p10 disconnects from my WI FI network. I try to reconnect but I can't do it. Sometimes I received a wrong password message or just can't connect. I have tried the solution mentioned here but the problem remains. I have to reset one or twice in order to reconnect. There are other devices in the network but mine is the only with this issue. Could you please help me with your valuable suggestions?

You can try updating with Firmware Finder. More info is in the Guides Forum. B106 and 108 have been issued for C521; you can install them if they are approved for your IMEI. Or you can wait :silly:

Hey guys,
as the title says, I can't connect to any WiFi network after updating magisk to version 19.0 or above. Did any of you have the same issue and knows a fix for this? By the way, I have the exynos variant.
I know I can resolve the issue by doing a complete reinstall, but that is not a viable fix IMHO.
Thank in advance.
Alright, so after some fiddling around I found the solution myself: Forget the WiFi (aka delete the password on your phone) you try to connect to. After that it seems to be working again
Hey Everyone,
I have a T813 (9.7") that's about 2 1/2 years old. Over the last week, I've seen the "Authentication Error Occurred" in my WiFi settings. The easiest way to resolve it temporarily has been to turn WiFi off and on again. That lasts for about 10 minutes before I need to do it again.
I've Googled around and tried a number of solutions, including a Factory Reset. The tablet is stock with the last software update Samsung released. I'm thinking about reflashing the factory firmware or trying a Lineage or another ROM to see if the issue persists.
Has anyone had this issue before? Has anyone resolved it? I'd rather not replace the device over this dumb issue.
Thank you!!! ❤
The WiFi began behaving normally again after flashing the stock firmware with Odin.
