I made a flashable zip that does the following:
-Enables on screen nav bar
-disables the capacitive keys
Also didn't think I'd actually have to put this in the OP but don't use this on a non stock rom.
I have been too busy to update these for the newest update, however @nilac was nice enough to pick up where I left off, thank him when you get a chance

it requires custom recovery to be installed for this zip, and to do the mod

Yes, I do need to update the build props for the newest builds but the mods still work

I flashed this and yes it enabled nav bar..
But after uninstall it didn't go, what happens is now i have both softkeys and capacitive hardware keys.. Don't know y.. But its gud to have both

ya thats y i said weird btw i am using nexus navbar to customize the look after enabling it with urs...
after uninstall i even checked the build.prop there is no code for the softkeys in any build.prop

Too bad that there isnt only extended reboot. I dont use volume skip so.. I really dont need it.

If you look in original thread the dev updated for 4.2.2. It is working great on latest Greenblue AOSP.

There never was volume rocker wake. There is volume rocker to skip track in music. Yes the power menu and the volume skip work perfectly. Although to get the volume skip to work with google play music you need to delete the AOSP music.apk from /system/app...

If you just added line on build.prop - you can't. If you modified systemUI (or framework, can't remember now ) Then search what xml and what value to change in it.

You mean the two capacitive buttons on our device?
Open Settings app > Display > Scroll down and tap on "Touch key light duration" under More Settings > Choose Always off

Sorry.. the things I said above are for Samsung's TouchWiz based ROMs and firmwares only.. Sorry
I used CM for a very brief time, so I don't know or didn't even notice whether this feature exists or not..

I think that option is removed from CM, it was there on earlier releases (not stable ones).

But I think it is only a theme. TW needs TW framework, that does not work with CM. It just work with stock.

which ROM are you using?
I am using OmniROM 4.4.2. I hacked the build.prop to disable the hardware keys and I am using an app called softkeyZ to change the icons.

are you using Dalvik or ART?
Xposed framework does not work on ART and you will face reboots; so switch to Dalvik (if using ART) for using Xposed framework

Edit: My bad. I was looking into files in the magazine folder. Got the theme to work.
How do I apply the theme? Its format is .hwt and in the themes folder there are two themes with .apply extension. Changing the extension is of no use for me.

no, xposed has limited functionality and breaks theming engine. it is custom rom which which is very close to stock rom, however you have an option to change battery icons and add network speed in status bar. i am enclosing link where you can find more info, it is in chinese...

Great news. Xposed version 71 is now working for h811 and h815. Flash arm 64 version 71 in twrp and install xposed app. Its working great for me with greenify and gravity box.

Usually tweaksbox. But nothing as of yet.
Gravity box has been working for me. I've got circle battery, music skip using volume buttons, and I've made the nav bar smaller. No issues so far.

Anybody know a status bar icon changer working for us?
It's not flashing for me. It's saying wrong sdk version: 22, expected 21. It's Version 71 arm 64 version. What am I doing wrong?

Use the file from romracers thread and not the main xposed. That fixed my problem

Official Xposed thread is for Android 5.0 (SDK 21). romracer's is for 5.1 (SDK 22).

It's because you didn't go to the original thread and download the apk that you need to install the app.
