I've heard a lot about AOKP and wondered if any codinalte ROMs have been made because I'd love to try this ROM if possible.

CyanogenMod and custom ROMs are two different things. It is true that you can create custom ROMs based off of the CyanogenMod builds, but since we don't have those stable builds, the devs create ROMs based off of the i9000 etc. ROMs.
The CyanogenMod builds are built from scratch; that is why we don't currently have a stable CM build. Once a stable CM build is out, though, there'll be some awesome ROMs based off of it.

I can hardly wait.
Thats my question, whats is the best base rom fot installing roms etcs.
Sent from my Galaxy
As far as I know there is no difference but do not take that for granted
There is no best rom for installing other ROMs
Custom ROMs will replace old ROMs file, so it doesn't matter which ROM you have...
The best rom for your new rom is your old rom...

Hi, I have a question to ask about 2 ROMs, namely PAC-Man and Resurrection Remix, they are both 'hybrid' ROMs, they run Paranoid Android, AOKP and CM10.1. But what are the difference between these two ROMs, if anyone knows? I know that PAC-Man is easier to flash and install, but which ROM has more features?
Thanks.

Nothing matters as none of them are stable. Both have colossal amount of bugs. My suggestion, go for MIUI v5 or if you want to enjoy stock android with customization, try LiquidSmooth.
AOSP based and cm based ROMs haven't been stable as of now,it doesn't mean it lessens affort of developers like akhil or varun but we need stock based ROMs in the meantime if you see nexus 5 forum there you have "catacalysm"
(http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/orig-development/rom-cataclysm-nexus-5-t2518660)which is most appropriated rom over there. It is essentially a stock rom modified with some gravitybox like features .It even supports RRO layERS. I am not a dev by any mean don't have computer to try out these things but we have well more than capable developers who could develop such ROMs quite easily. What do you think is it worth it?
hey
there are many many roms and ports
I would like to have your opinion about best rom port for stability
and best aosp based rom
thanks in advance
