I have a Nexus 6 european version...which is the original build (last update) of my nexus? And where can I download it?
Thanks
original build for any nexus 6 is android 5.0, and you can download and install the factory image found here http://code.google.com/android/nexus/images.html#yakju

I initially made a mistake and installed the wrong version of Gapps for my Sprint Nexus 6. I was able to finally revert back to the original version...Which was version 7.0.96(1785884-430). I was just wanting to see if anyone could tell me if this is the correct version that I should be on or if not which is the newest one that I should be running?

Software wise, all Nexus 6's are equal. Sprint is the same as Verizon, which is the same as UK, India etc. The only difference between the 2 models (North America and International) is the Radio Bands for LTE.
So in answer to your question, use the latest 5.1 Gapps if you run a 5.1 ROM or run the latest 5.0.2 Gapps, if you run a 5.0.2 ROM.

Thank you for the quick response but I completely screwed up my question. I meant that I updated Google play services not Gapps. I just want to make sure of the version of Google play services I should be on?
I have no idea why I put gapps in the title!

Only difference for you then is one is newer than the other. So use the newest (48i).
Further info: ALL Nexus 6 can use the same ROMs. The only difference is that some US carriers have specific ROMs to add functions or just so they can approve the builds themselves. So you just need to avoid the Builds that are specifically for T-Mobile or Verizon IF you want OTA to work in the future. Otherwise, you could use any.

Alright guys, so I have a quick question I'm unsure about. So I bought a Nexus 6 off of the Google Play Store, and I am using it on T-Mobile. So for the wifi calling feature, I understand that I would have to have bought the device from T-Mobile themselves for the feature to be built into the OS correct? And if that's the case, is it safe to fastboot flash the T-Mobile firmware to a device bought off of Google Play? Or is that a bad idea because of a different chipset of some kind? Thanks!

Yes, you can flash the t-mobile img and get the features they offer.
Just to clarify:
All N6 are the same. What build you get in an OTA is decided based on your sim-card (if you have a T-mobile sim, you'll get the T-mobile build).
In other words, if you're using a T-mobile sim there should be no reason for you to flash an image. Unless you've been tinkering with your phone (root, custom recovery, custom kernel), then you have to use the images to update since it'll be impossible to install updates through OTA.
So it doesn't hurt to flash any of the builds that's on the Google developers site for my nexus 6? None will brick the device somehow? And also, I have a T-Mobile sim in my nexus here, but my phone still updated to LMY48M not the T-Mobile build. I have tinkered with the device, yes. It is rooted right now and I have flashed images to it before. I have flashed LMY48I earlier on and just last week flashed LMY48M. But I did an OTA update from stock LMY48I and it took me to LMY48M. Sorry if this is confusing.

Yes, when you're in the US.
Here in Europe (Netherlands) we use a different image, although we have also T-Mobile.
It is good you ask about this, because there are many others that are/were confused.

Yes, it is safe to flash on any Nexus 6. North American or International. Every Rom works on Every Nexus 6. Regardless. The only difference is if you are on T-mobile or Verizon, if you want WiFi Calling or VoLTE (respectively) You'll need their specific builds.
Oh yea, it's definitely confusing haha When it comes to flashing anything Android powered, there's almost always a possibility to brick so I had to ask. Alright! Thanks guys! I'm gonna flash the T-Mobile image today because I am on T-Mobile and this phone is still on the US International image.

So just to clarify, there is no risk in flashing ANY of the images for the nexus 6 because all nexus 6 devices around the world are the same chipset correct?

Just making 100% sure, it was said yes, but not directly. They said "go ahead and flash the T-Mobile build" but as for "any" build, notice the word "any". I just wanna make sure, sorry I don't wanna hard brick a $700 device.

If on T-Mobile flash latest for T-Mobile. If not on T-Mobile flash latest Generic which is every carrier but T-Mobile. It not rocket science.

Hi, I was hoping to update to 6.0 but there are three versions of 6.0 to choose from. Can someone describe their differences? I bought the phone unlocked and i am using it on Verizon. I would like to keep it unlocked for all carriers and for use globally though, if that makes a difference in version number.

why do you want to install an older version(that's not international)? the latest version is MMB29S, and all nexus run it, its not just international. again, all nexus are running the same build. the difference between american and international versions are only the radio bands being used by the phone itself.
