[THEME] DJ05&DL09 -Dark Myst v2-

Hey XDA people, i recently whipped up a theme for DJ05 and DL09 and i wanted to share it with everyone. This is my first theme, any comments, suggestions, tips, and/or critisism are all welcome. Thanks guys.
UPDATE: V2:
-fixed signal and data icons in status bar
-added more blue actions replacing orange/yellow ones
-included swype.apk themed as in the screen below
-included debinged browser as seen in the screen below
-removed apps with themed icons
-got rid of uglier dropdown open/close bar
-added a dl09 version
-expect more updates and customizations in the near future

I used the DL09 version as well and my swype works just fine. FWIW

there seems to be a slight problem with some of the apps in v1. i know that messaging and google talk fced. i suggest reinstalling with a different apk because v2 removes these apps and does not replace them. Also swypes working like a charm for others. Sometimes deleting libswypecore.so from /system/lib if you have it will also help with the fc.

If your coming from another.theme you'll have to do a wipe.

this theme bricked my fascinate . was running supah clean dl09 with adryn's 12/30 kernel, and had to wipe and reload everything.

[APP] Touchwiz Calculator [03/02/2011]

Touchwiz calculator taken from the leaked GalaxyS 2.3.2 ROM.
I changed the icon to our aosp icon because I hate the touchwiz icon, but love the calculator.
You need to install this either via clockwork mod, or adb push (if you extract the .apk)

have you tried the radio apk for the fm radio is its working on nexus s from the leaked rom?

Works great. On of many touchwiz apps I miss. (Never thought I'd see the day!)

i like this calculator bcuz you can press a button to go look at all your rescent calculations which helps me a lot at work being that i calculate a lot of items for shipouts

realcalc is a pretty good option too for people looking for more then just the simple stuff.

Thanks! The samsung calculator was awesome on my vibrant. Too bad the video and music player wouldn't port over so easily.

The calc is great. Any way of making this so that it doesn't have to by adb pushed or cw flashed? This is because it takes over the original in-built system calculator correct?

Where did you download the leak? (Galaxy S 2.3)

Awesome icon set! What's the trick to theme some of the icons in the launcher? I'm using apex but some icons like gallery and some system icons won't theme..

Update:
-Iconbacks should now be fixed.
-Added a new Camera & Gallery icon.
-Added a Calculator and Instragram icon.

Best theme so far, looks awesome on my one x.

Slate should support any phone/tablet that Apex, Nova and Go supports.

Yes, some are duplicates because I need to cover as many system apps on the different phones as I can.
I am working on an 'Icon update' which will add a lot more 3rd party icons.

So yesterday I updated the theme to 1.3, this somehow broke the icon back files. I am not sure how to fix them, as I haven't touched them. Not sure how long it will take for me to fix it.

I checked your screen res, it's really small. So it would take ages to redesign all the icons at such small size and wouldn't be worth it in the end. Sorry.

so it wouldn't be compatible with phone forever? or would you mind if you can provide a direct link of your file? i'll check if your icons adapt to my phone. thanks

So I just downloaded this icon theme and am running the latest nova beta (whatever.36), and when I go to change icon themes, slate isn't listed.
Galaxy nexus, cm10, nova jellybean beta.

Just updated to 1.4 and a lot of the icons which previously worked, now don't (gallery for instance). Also, the icon back still isn't working and hasn't since 1.2. Otherwise love the theme, any chance of releasing a psd and allowing community contributions?

I know about the missing icons, but the icon backs should be fixed. They are working fine here.
I'm getting fed up of this constantly breaking, I don't get why it keeps happening.

Moved the Nova support. Please download that file, sorry for the inconvenience.
Fixed most of the old icons, some are still broken.
My Iconbacks are working on Apex, Nova and Go, they should work for everyone.

You can make apk compatible with not just one launcher, my packs are compatible with apex, adw, nova and holo

May need to ask for your help on that if you don't mind
So new and inexperienced in APK dev that its not even funny. I was happy that I was able to finally get a working version for testing on my device haha.

Thanks for sharing you great work with us. I'm using this with ssLauncher. ssLauncher currently does not let us change to a different icon from the icon pack library. But since you have provided the apk here, i could import them manually into ssLauncher, thank you for that as well, this way i can switch between your alternative icons.

Like it much!
Please, customize icons of the upper bar using your color theme. I mean time, wifi and so on symbols.
And add rectangle borders around "on/off" switchers. Because sometimes it's impossible to understand is it "on" or "off". Switchers are like flying in the air.

i will add support for other resolutions (xhdpi, hdpi, mdpi) next days, but it requires time because i have to (download)theme lot of pngs
(if someone wanna help me with resources... it would be greatly appreciated... just download cyanogenmod and decompile at least the framework-res.apk, settings and systemui)

What's up with the permissions? Suspicious. Most themes don't need any permission, but this wants personal info?

i don't know why, but also other themes ask for permissions (FI for examples asked me for Multimedia access and info about wifi...)
my manifest is the same of cm theme engine template ( i used the template)

i added xxhpi support, but i was able to install it also on a nexus 7 2012 (hdpi), nexus 4 (xhdpi)
will add more res, don't worry, but i need time
