Installing xposed on HTC One running lollipop isn't different than what is explained in the "official Xposed for lollipop" thread: Flash framework zip in recovery and install the xposed apk. Each time you want to update the framework, you'll have to flash it in recovery like said in the xposed app
Btw its "harder" to install because Xposed for lollipop is still in alpha version.

Btw. there is a separate version for 5.1.

What did you finally download? x86, or arm?

Should be ARM since the CPU on the m7 is ARMv7.

To make some things clear in the beginning:
The Xposed Installer v2.7 is for devices running KitKat and below, whereas the Xposed Installer v3.0 is for devices running Lollipop.
Could you specify which device and what Android version you are using? Without those informations nobody will be able to help you.
If you are on a KitKat-based ROM, stay with Xposed v2.7. If you are on Lollipop (Android 5.+), check the official Xposed for Lollipop thread and use the flow chart in post #2 to identify the correct file for your device.
mine same as his problem.
mine is 4.3 (jelly bean)
mine also dont work. It says "the xposed framework is not installed. please download the zip file from xda and flash it manually via recovery"

Could you specify which Xposed Installer you have used? v3.0 or v2.7? v3.0 is for devices with Android Lollipop, whereas v2.7 (Xposed repo link) is for devices with Android <5.0. There is no need to flash the framework via recovery if you don't run Android <5.0.
Mine is KitKat and I run on intex aqua star 2 I used both 2.7 and 3.0 but the framework ain't installed

Kitkat won't use 3.0. Try getting it going with the regular 2.6 from the main kitkat thread before trying the experimental version. It's so easy, it really should just work

Did you flash the Xposed framework .zip through recovery? If not, check this thread for the download file (should be v80, SDK22 and arm64).

Let's see:
Android 6.0 -> SDK23
Nexus 4 -> ARMv7 (aka ARM)
So you need the xposed-v80-sdk23-arm.zip from here.
Don't forget to wipe cache&dalvik after flashing Xposed through recovery.

EDIT: Nevermind, it's 3.0.
Flash this recovery by using ROM Installer and try again to flash Xposed.

In the post which I linked in my last post, you'll find a TWRP recovery for your device. Follow either the instructions from this post to flash this recovery or use ROM Installer (an app from Play Store) to flash the recovery file.
Afterwards, boot into the new recovery and try to flash Xposed.
Ok sure thanks a lot I will see what happens and keep u posted thanks a mill!

Yes.

Not compatible?

Xposed is not (yet) compatible with Android SDK version 21 or your processor architecture (armeabi-v7a).
CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE: could not load library "libdvm.so" needed by "/data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/cache/app_process"; caused by library "libdvm.so" not found.
The "Install/Update" button is grayed out. No-go for me? The phone is a year old (HTC One M8 on Verizon). Rooted and S-OFF.

This is what you need to do :-
1) Root you device
2)Install appropriate TWRP through odin.
3)Then you need to deodex the Rom of your device. For this please download a copy of Update of your device on your PC and follow instruction given this forum to deodex the Rom.
Or
3)You can also, download and install a mini Rom which deodex the apps. I found one and it worked flawlessly on my device. Not sure if it will work for you or not, but their is a file name :- deodex-apps-kn06497 in this forum.
( Install via TWRP in recovery mode)
4)Then download xposed-v65-sdk21-arm-arter97-V5-generic.zip from arter97 framework.
5)Install the above framework using TWRP.
6)then Open your device and download xposed installer 3.0 alpha (4).apk and install it as you normally install files.
7)Reboot and see that Xposed has been installed in your phone successfully.
Tip:- Dont clear cache using TWRP.
Also, Once you install each file using TWRP, reboot the system and then again go to recovery rather than installing all files at once.
I am sure this will make your device run Xposed
You don't have any idea what the problem is AND what you're suggestion, right?
The problem in the OP is that he uses Xposed Installer 2.x instead of the version for Lollipop: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
And for your suggestions... it's hard to find anything good about it. There shouldn't be any need to deodex, nor should you use v65 when v80 is already available. I would also suggest to try my official zips first, as far as I understood @arter97's fork concentrates on Samsung Touchwiz ROMs.
Please, if you don't know what you're talking about, don't answer.

Thank you @rovo89, that certainly did it. There was no need to deodex, which seemed like such a PITA.

Xposed framework for 4.4.2

Hi,
I can't seem to find the proper zip for this. Would it be 21 or something completely different. I'm still running Kitkat (for my own reasons) but everything seems to focus on 5.0 and higher.

You dont't need an extra flashable zip, you can just install Xposed directly in Xposed-Installer:

Thanks for responding. Actually I can't install Xposed the way you did it (i.e. by installing the application) because my phone is not rooted. So the Installer can't mount the /system partition as rw and make changes to /system/bin/app_process. That's the reason why I have to flash it's zip file through the custom recovery (TWRP in my case). So I was looking for a zip file that would be stable for the given specification of my phone. As not any version can work with any phone . I downloaded a zip from github but that was meant for SDK 21 and above . In fact the Installer that you used, does the same changes to the /system/bin/app_process, just by having root access. Anyway, hope one gives me a link to that zip.

Same problem here . . I cant find a zip for my Kitkat 4.4.2 . They are all busy with Lollipop and Marshmallow. In our case SDK version is 19. You can check your SDK version and other such details by apps in Play Store (Droid Info is one such app). Plzzzz do let me know if u find a zip for our version.

I think you are right . . as I have explored almost everywhere but I couldn't find it. But then I wonder . . wouldn't it be a very easy task for expert android buffs here on XDA to just make a flashable zip of the core files of Xposed ?? You're referring to the Xposed installer app (by DVDAndroid), not the Xposed framework.
Xposed Framework for KitKat has no updates. No development on that front for a couple of years.
As far as the installer app goes, there's no need to update that. Later versions of DVDAndroid's installer may support KK but not sure there's any benefit to updating.
Best to ask in his thread.

Need some help to flash xposed framework

Hi guys
I need some help to install xposed installer on my device i try all the possible methods to install but it doesn't work. I already flash the xposed-v86-sdk21-arm framework but when the phone boot the screen is frozen on samsung logo so i restore my data again, i feel the framework is not compatible with my device .
Steps done:
My device rooted with superSU
Teamwin recovery available
Installed xposed installer apk
Phone module: samsung A300f
Cpu: armeabi-v7a
Android 5.0.2
Hope you guys give me some tips to solve this problem and thank you.
READ the official post for xPosed, it's spelled out in big red letters that official doesn't work on Samsung touchwiz. You need a special modified version. You found the xPosed general board (it's where you posted this thread) it is easy from that spot to find what you need. Search lollipop samsung xPosed find the one of the two existing xPosed forks that works with 5.0.x

thanks for replay, i tried today to flash deodex'ed rom but it doesn't work because it's to old and samsung released an update last time, so is there another method to install rovo official xposed ?
or is there any rom can work with rovo official xposed?
The only ROMs that will work with Rovo xPosed would be non-touchwiz based, such as CM (which can have its own issues with xPosed). But you really need to ask these questions of samsung users. There are a ton on deodexed ROM many are just stock touchwiz that have been deodexed. Part of having root and xPosed means not always having the latest OEM android version. I'm sure somebody in the correct thread (Arter or Wanam) can point you at the ROM they use.
thanks
thank u again Nergal I'm really appreciate your replays i already try out some rom's right now hopefully it's work
..

Problems on s4 mini

Hi everyone!
I'm having some troubles getting Xposed Framework to work on my S4 mini (GT-I9195)
The phone is rooted and i'm using Android 4.4.2 (it's not a custom rom, but Samsung's original)
From Xposed installer, as I go to the Framework section, i get:
With Xposed 3.2: "Xposed is not (yet) compatible with android SDK 19 or your processor architecture (armeabi-v7a)"
With Xposed 3 alpha 4: "The Xposed framework is not installed. Please download the latest ZIP file from XDA and flash it manually via recovery"
Am I doing something wrong or is there something i just don't know?
Sorry and hopefully this thread isn't spam

You're on KitKat, so you just need to use the older apk method, no need for flashing Xposed
Sent from my SCH-R220
Thank u a lot for your answer!
Where i can find more info about the "apk method"? I'm afraid i've never read anything about other methods than putting the apk in the phone and installing it from there.
Sorry but i'm a total noob
EDIT: Apparently i solved by using another version of Xposed from a mediafire link found on a forum. The file name is "Xposed Installer (SDK 19).apk" (Unfortunately i can't post urls yet )
Thank you a lot!
