[Q] [q] Wi-Fi Problems,please help

Hello,
I'm having problems with wi-fi connection,in fact it doesn't connect at all.
I'm running on CyanogenMod 10.1 i also was in slim bean before CM,and in slim bean the wi-fi connection problem started.
First when i put in the Slim bean,the Wi-Fi worked for a week ,then it didn't worked anymore.
The option "On-Off" to connect,it's often disabled so i can't even turn it on to search,and sometimes when i turn it on,it just keeps looking for Wi-Fi and nothing appears,though i have Wi-Fi in my house.
Does anyone know what should i do ?
p.s i got samsung galaxy s1 gt-i9000

As you can see, issues regarding Wi-Fi connectivity is related to the kernel that's installed. Try flashing a different kernel and check if it has any improvements.

Do you have any suggestion,what kernel should i use ?
Or how should i change it...

if your device is i9000, I suggest go for Devil Kernel it's been great since then. Just download the zip file put it in your storage, go to recovery (CWM) and flash it in there. There are instructions in that thread. Godspeed!

i installed Devil Kernel,but still same problem. I think the problem is elsewhere...

Thank you so much!!! The fix works for Carbonrom, Pacman and Probam ROMs(the jb 4.3 versions)!!
Dunno what I would've done without this fix...thanks man!

Will this fix the issue where my WiFi connectivity drops on aokp 4.3 Milestone 1? Cause the only solution I've found so far is to toggle WiFi off then on to solve the problem but that's starting to annoy me.

[Q] Wifi problem with OmniRom 4.4.2

hello guys.
after i haved installed the latest build on OmniRom (Asylum_Omni_4.4.2_20140401_N7000_Linar3), my wifi won`t work at all. It`s not turning on, can`t do nothing. or i slide the on button and is searching for networks forever and that`s it...nothing. Before this build i had no problems with the wifi. Any thoughts,helps?

Reinstall your old Rom or post questions like this in the OmniRom thread. It isn't so difficult to get the necessary 10 posts.
And maybe the search in the original Asylum thread will give you some hints about the problem.

Experiencing call bug on 5.1.1 roms mi3

Experiencing call failure
After few seconds on call through sim phone gets stuck and can't hear any voice nor it is going but call isn't ending. all then needed to hold power button for 10seconds to restart my phone
What to do? Any fix?
Not on asop rom

Tried 4+ ROMS, all with call bug

Try ivan rom.. Last time i use with bluetooth speaker, it work flawless..

Ivan Rom is best I guess . But I miss theme engines of cm. Now switched to aicp. Haven't had call bug yet.flashed stuxnet.

Forgot to mention; I was on Ivan's Kitkat ROM, perfect.
After that tried a few Lollipop versions ... no BT connection in the car.
Last night I went AOKP : AICP, no problems so far ... BT connection working as well.

Hi Inonotting (you seem to know a lot) I have the BT connection problem as well. you mention the AOKP : AICP Rom, I had a look but not sure which one that is, can you be a bit more specific, than I can flash that Rom as well (Btw was using the official Mi3 Rom, but the last version has the BT bug again!)

hello guys , today & half year ago when i installed the lollipop rom maked by dungphp on my device e120s i found some issues that
+, no wifi was found when i turned on the wifi icoin
+, when i lock screen,turn it on again , it reboot or softreboot
this happen when i installed the cm rom baseband
- on cm11 rom & miui v5 rom i tried to installed to my device but no wifi was found when i turned on the wifi icoin too. so i found a kernel that it fix wfi in the device call " Wi-Fi_semcove_Patch_KK_SHV-E120S " so the wifi working ,i continued to installed the lollipop rom with the kernel but when i done,i reboot,nothing happened ..................
can we have a topic or a slove for this ploblem , i think this is popular because some people have the same ploblem with me !!!!

i dont think any more development is going on at this time for this device. Although mine is E120L, I tried to see if there was a marshmellow port or at least lollipop with random reboot issue fixed. But i couldn't find it. I am using resurrection remix port for E120L by dung php and its stable than any other Rom. I think its available for E120s as well in choimobile thread.

i have tried many time & every rom lollipop by dungphp but it was the same issues :crying::crying:

if you are having problem with wifi, why dont you try flashing latest JB build to get your baseband updated and try flashing lollipop afterwards? Did the same thing and it solved many issues, but random reboots are still there. Seems like you are trying to update your device from Icecream sandwich or older JB builds. Also check "clear efs" or something like that from odin to clear corrupted efs files.

You can try wiping phone efs through odin in order to fix radio issues
1 Download stock jb rom
2 Check "phone efs clear". This is most important.
3 Click pda
4 click start
5 wait for phone to boot up
6 go to settings->software update to check if you are running latest jb build. Soft reboots and radio issues are usually caused by old baseband version.
7 Proceed with usual old way to install lollipop.
This way odin will wipe your efs settings to rebuild from scratch.

It should solve itself. I dont have e120s, but I fixed Wifi issue by clearing efs and updating to astap 8 in e120L.

Just found out that even armv6 device like xperia arc is getting marshmallow.

i managed to fix wifi problem on lollipop rom by integrating kernel of " Wi-Fi_semcove_Patch_KK_SHV-E120S " on lollipop rom. wifi worked but reboot problem when locking screen still remained.
