Had a replacement UK Orange Tytn 2 and have noticed that on the maximum brightness setting the bottom of the screen has a slight flickering to it, I have tried different brightness settings and the flickering stops, only flickers on the brightest setting
My previous Tytn 2 had no backlight flicker at all, was just wondering if anyone here noticed a similar problem with their Kaisers. Maybe I just got unlucky with my replacement

anyone help ?
It's normal for white light, as white light "flickers" at a certain frequency (100Hz I believe). This will cause banding to appear on some cameras. It's totally fixable with a software update, just need for HTC to release it
It's like how old documentaries always have the CRT monitors flickering with wide bands scrolling up and down the screen.
It's normal. I noticed it on my office, so I compared it with my One X and an iPhone 5,they all have the same issue.
Replace the ballast in the light fitting for a high frequency one, or try adjusting shutter speed.
but my friend's htc one is not making this problem even facing to light directly. that is strange.
Hello,
I am facing the following problems with my Xperia Z
1. As reported at other numerous sites for Z1, in my can I am having the symptoms with Xperia Z of flash bleeding and over exposed pictures with a purple or bluish tinge and frame covering a grainy image even in normal light , not necessarily low light situations. I have tried it with superior auto and manual modes with various flash settings and it does not seem to resolve.
Is it a manufacturing defect which cannot be corrected with software adjustments, if so then I night consider selling it for something else in the xperia series. But I have heard that the same problem is there with Xperiz Z Ultra and Z1/2 , is it so.
2. The earpiece sometimes loses audio during the call, it can happen randomly. Starts working again randomly after sometime or disconnecting and redialing the call. Apparently it does not seem like a hardware issue, cause it does not work even when i press or tap around the earpiece area. Again i have seen this on sony forums and some suggest it is due to the latest ROM update, I dont know for sure whether it is and what is the solution for it.
I am running stock (non-rooted) 4.3.x as per the latest Sony official update.
It would be really nice if someone can please help me out to sort the reported issues, which I am sure a lot of other users would be plagued with.
Thanks.
Hi there, I recently got my Xperia Z3 Compact fixed, they changed the audio jack, but I suspect that they may have misplaced the notification light a bit when they reassembled the phone. Please help me, look at the picture, is it supposed to leak light next to the notification light as shown in the picture? I can't correctly remember what it looked like before the repiar.

That's definitely not right. It looks to be reflecting off the proximity sensor.
I have two new Xperia X Performance phones and both show at times a blinking screen in camera mode, during which the camera cannot be used.
I managed to record it and have a short MP4 video.
Has somebody else experienced the same fault?
I have the same problem with my xperia x performance. Do you find a solution?
