I can't figure why app sharing isn't working with DualBOOTPATCHER.
In my primary rom I have KIK messenger. I share it out via app sharing (select apk + data). This app was installed prior to dual booting. When I reboot my phone and go into my secondary rom i do not see kik messenger.
What am I doing wrong?

This is probably a n00b question but I am going to ask anyway.
I want to do the following:
First time I install new Custom Rom I register with a google account and download apps from market. So after downloading some 60 apps I want to unregister my google account and remove my default account. The only way I can remove my default account is by doing a wipe.
So Is there a way I can extract the APKs of all the 60 apps I have installed and then Do a wipe and then install the apks again to regain my 60 apps but no google default account ?

if youre rooted you can try titanium back up or else I would recommend mybackup pro (theres a trial version) it will back up apks and data (sms/contacts/email etc)
app Manager for the apk. can also select and simultanious Installations (there are also many others, see above).
sms backup & restore. awesome app for sms Backup to SD card or Your Mailacount without using gmail sync. everything is free. there is also a call log app and apn backup app from the same developer!

AppBrain will do this too.
You can pull the '.apk's using the "adb pull" command and then push them back afterwards.
Or if you're on a custom ROM you can use apps2sd to store the apps on your sdcard then they will be reimported after you install your new ROM after wipe. This may depend on which ROM your using though, not sure.

I'm having trouble trying with S'Perience ROM:
1. Restoring a backed up system app with Titanium Backup, hangs TB and FC or have to kill app through task manager. All none system apps restore perfect without issues.
2. Trying to sideload the app doesn't help also (of course the phone is rooted).
Some guys suggest to check:
- Unknown sources
- Development / Allow mock locations
But it doesn't help, what i'm doing wrong? this is the first rom that I have with this problem.
For example, one app that I want to restore is Samsung All Share (is really useful), and default email app (I know it sucks but I use it with a rarely used email account that want to keep separate)

I need some help... Its a minor issue but i just found out that AMCHA ROM v5.00 dont come with default android email app.
This email app allow us to sync our exchange email to calendar. I have tried to install other email app but it doesnt syc calendar either....
Any one knows how can fix this???

Is it possible to install the apk after??? I didnt want to reinstall everything again because the InternetBanking apps reset to default and it takes a lot of time to enable it again.

Rom isn't full wipe, isn't any problem it flash again. Users apps will not lost.
Also you can extract wanted apk from flashable zip of Rom, put to the system, set permission, reboot.
Hi, I updated EMUI to official 3.0 by OTA but when I try to share an image, a popup for selecting the app for sharing appears but then instantly disappears and automatically opens twitter for sharing my image there.. [emoji15] what can I do? I tried to delete app data and cache of the gallery but nothing.. problem persists..
Go to Settings-manage apps-menu-reset apps preferences.

2.Backup your whatsapp app using any app backup app.e.g. apkshare.
3.Download GBwhatsapp+
Search it on Google for latest version.
4.install GBwhatapp+ enter your 1st or current whatsapp number and continue.
5.sync your backup that we have done in step 1.
6.now install the whatsapp app using apk that we have created in step 2.
7.Enter the second number you want.continue it and sync backup if any.Don't enter same phone number for both whatsapp.
8.Congratulations you have two whatsapp account on same phone.
9.any queries ask me..

instead you could just download parallel space app from playstore and add whatsapp to it. simple my friend

parallel space is the general way to make any two apps work on same phone.. like users on Windows... whereas kartiks method is specific to whatsapp..
