So I just purchased my AT&T S6 and I'm debating if I should install the Hancom Office 2014 or go for Microsoft Office (free edition)?
I don't do much document/spreadsheet editing aside from maybe a couple edits here and there. The spreadsheets I open/edit do contain formulas that are of a budget type spreadsheet - nothing fancy or complicated. The documents I open/edit are nothing fancy either and I like to use the Find feature and Copy/Paste. Both documents and spreadsheets contain password protection on opening.
Any recommendations?
Thanks!
Disable Hancom and go MS. Their offerings lately on iOS and Android are superb.

MS is killing it lately with their new approach. Focus on quality apps for iOS and Android and back off the phone approach? Smart move due to their new CEO having smarts.

Found this floating around the web & thought I'd share, they have a very interesting UI it's rather different.
A home app replacement with an easy-to-use interface that delivers previews of social network updates as well as phone services data. Pick a service, such as Facebook or Twitter, to see recent updates. Choose Call History or Contacts to call someone. Use the app launcher cube to quickly find any installed app and launch it.
Based around a single circle of icons, you can control every aspect of your phone with a single screen. Two to be exact The second of which is the screen that holds all your applications in a very slick cube design.

Zup peeps!
Just "finished" my new website. OK, it's not 100% finished, but it's pretty close now. You'll notice the "Service" and "FAQ" sections are missing everything at the moment, and are just filled with text until i can fill them with some content, but it'll be finished soon enough. Look at it as a preview.
What is this interwebz site? Well, it's pretty obvious isn't it? More info coming soon
Check it out
Note: You'll have to be on a computer to see it or set the user agent on your phone to Desktop
Looks pretty nice, and since you are a web designer, and I am your friend, I am obligated to tell you to make me a website for free where I can edit the galleries and writing. lol
Can we haz cookies at your website?

I love your website. I like the template. Can you please make one for my Christian youth group. PM if you can, and how much will it cost.
Thanks

Thanks!
But i'm not a web designer I studied it like 6 years ago and that's it.
Looking at your website shows me you know how to make a flash website. That's more than my basic HTML knowledge.
I've updated the "Service" section and added "FAQ". Both are currently filled with gibberish (latin) so you can see how i plan on doing it. Just ignore the content
Any feedback?

Thanks!
Edit: Dexter, stop trolling! Hahah
For my Mom, her eye sight is getting bad. She talks and texts something fierce but lately she been struggling to see her ancient T-Mobile's screen. No data package or fancy extra's needed.
What do you guys recommend?
This is the problem...T-Mobile does not really care about people like your mother
they do not offer that many choices for near/far sighted people.
Your best choice will be to cancel T-Mobile and get her a Gitterbug phone . They offer phones designed for people with limitations and in need of big numbers and big screens without the fancy data packages
maybe the Galaxy Note i717 with xtra large fonts?
T-Mobile mobile for your mom? Sounds like a fair swap
Nah, seriously, has anyone tried the accessibility setting on Android? I've not tried it myself and just wondered if it may be useful in this case.
Edit: I just tried it - forget about that! It's totally horrible and useless. I was expecting something akin to the magnifier on Windows, but it just vocalising what you're doing and not very well at that. Clicking an icon on my homepage told me "Workspace 2 of 3" (obviously my 2nd screen of 3 home pages). Pretty pointless.
Either what MTM said or a larger touch screen phone hacked to show all apps, screens, ect on the, largest font available. I'm, sorry I'm not, more help.

I always have the pop up asking me which browser I'd like to open a URL with in Samsung stock email app. It works all the time and I primarily pick Samsung internet when prompted.
However, for emails that I receive from Amazon if I chose Samsung internet as depicted below they still open in Chrome.
Any ideas why ? Thanks.View attachment 4634250

Funny how when asking a question it triggers ones brains to actually look into the matter more. LoL. I think I figured it out in case someone else wanted to know..
It was the below settings defaults menu that I changed to remedy my issue. It was originally set to "in this app" and I changed it to the below "always ask". Now I get prompted again to pick which browser or app to use to open URL with.

I disabled Chrome browser myself. I like the ad blocking and Samsung Pass features available in the Samsung browser.
Glad you figured it out!!

Having a quick, portable voice transcription system would be a great help at work.
I work in the medical field and frequently need to transcribe medical terms like drug names and procedures (e.g. Xarelto and pancreaticoduodenectomy).
The "online" google assistant recognizes almost all the terms I use with no difficulty. I worry that the "built-in" recorder / transcription app may not have as robust a vocabulary. Anyone use the new recorder app and have success with obscure words? Any way to add uncommon words?
