I'm probably just missing something, but where is the option to disable the auto-hide of the notification bar when on the home screen?
Much thanks!
I didn't know there was an auto hide, but if you go to adw settings > screen preferences > hide status bar, you can enable or disable.

also, in older versions a up swipe gesture automatically hid the notification bar. I think they got rid of that as a default though.

It seems like this is what I was doing with my notification bar. I have the latest version though, so this might still be default. Thanks!

There is no real auto-hide.... either show or hide.
Under screen preferences... first option.
Also.... change your swipe up to something else if that what is causing it to hide.
Is there any way to completely hide/disable status bar??
Thanks for reading...
You can hide it in adw launcher .if you want to delete it, I don't know what you have to delete...

Various launchers have the full screen option which hides the status bar. I don't think it is possible to delete it permanently.
You can't delete status bar permanently because it's part of a launcher, but some launchers have the option to hide it.

Go to settings--->manage apps---->all.
go to the app ginger dx and force close it...
this might work in gdx.
other ways are via enabling the option in launcher.
Press thanks if I helped..
You can use Long press menu button to hide status bat. Go to Settings/ Cyanogenmod Settings/ Input/ Long-press menu settings/ Choose behaviour and choose Toggle statusbar from list. Status bar will disappear by long clicking menu button but it may come back after while when entering and exiting menus in Settings.app for example.
I don't think so it is possible to hide permanently. But why do you want to hide it ?
My life is impossible without that statusbar
Just wanted to know if there is any mod for the notification bar to put quick toggles the way that Sammy phones have it. I hate having to click something to get to the toggles.

There's a good app called Power Toggles. Works pretty well.

What do you mean by "click something to get to the toggles?" Just swipe the notification shade down with two fingers to show the toggles. Tap a toggle to go into its settings or tap and hold to toggle the function.

There's no way to add new toggles to the noti. shade right? I'd kill for a flashlight switch there.

There is. It's called "Power Toggles" You can add many toggles (including flashlight) right below the date in the notification drawer. You don't even have to be rooted for this.

like the way the toggles are on the s4 here, instead of having to use 2 fingers

Yes, they are handy being right there. That's a Samsung mod, stock Android is not like that.

Go to playstore download an app called power toggles. Open the app and configure what toggles you want on notification bar. It will be the same as in samsung

Wow, I have always hated third party apps because usually they don't look nice or don't work well. I am impressed.

Have you Checked out Xposed Framework and Gravitybox?
It allows you to turn your quicksettings into toggles. The main reason why I used gravitybox was the torch & wifi AP toggle plus it was just update so you can rearrange the order.
This option might be better if you want to keep android looking stock. Also Xposed framework brings in all kinds of options you'd expect with custom roms.
I'm hoping we get these kind of toggles on the Moto X. This is my Gnex. I don't know why moto didn't add the option to add more toggles like the SIV and G2.

Sorry to bring back a fairly old post but I have been looking for an Xposed module to do Notification toggles. I thought Gravity Box did it but I cant find it. Am I overlooking it or did it lose that feature along the way?

Under status bar tweaks, quick settings management. Turn the option on and reboot. Come back to this if you want to customize.

I've customized them already. I want them as notification toggles not tiles on their own curtain. There is no setting I can find to turn off the rules and make them toggles on the notification curtain.

If you long press they act as toggles (that behavior can be changed as well). I know what you mean though. Maybe you can look at "Power Toggles" in the play store.

I really like Notification Toggles in Play. If rooted you can install as a system app and get true 1-touch state switching.

This. With gravity box..you just long press the tile and it toggles....no need to go into settings like when you just press the tiles quick.
Most...that I've tried anyway...apps that give you toggles on the notification screen, like Samsung, give you an icon in the status bar on the top left. And you can't get rid of it. Personally I can't stand that. Lol

Is there a way to remove those two wrench icons at the top without removing the actual toggles in my notifications menu? See attachments.

Sure! You appear to be using either "Notification Toggles" or "Power Toggles". Both have an option in settings to use a transparent icon, but if you do that, it shifts the other icons over so you have blank areas in your notification bar. I didn't like that myself, and instead opted to change it to a battery % icon instead (this is also available in settings).
You -might- be able to use one of the Xposed modules to hide it completely, but I haven't tried.
Dang you are awesome. That did the trick. Thank you!

Power Toggles has an option to hide the icon but keep the toggles. However, this will cause the toggles to be 'low priority' and will usually be moved to the bottom when you get other notifications.
Can somebody please help answer these -
- How do I change app shortcuts on the lockscreen?
- How can I turn Notification off for a particular app on the lockscreen but allow otherwise?
- On clicking mobile data icon on notification toggle it expands, is there a way to not do that?

1 and 3 are not possible unless you are using a Custom ROM which has those featured. For 2, you can long pres on the notification - More Settings - On the lock screen - Don't show notifications at all
