I am running Chroma 6/26 with the kernel it contains. Not using any layers. Nova Launcher.
I have an MP3 set as a ringtone and when I get a call it works as it should, and stops when I answer the call, but when the call ends, the song (ringtone) is still playing... it's like the call just interrupts the song so if it is a short call, the song is still playing.
Anyone else have this issue? It's never happened to me before.
Thanks!

My ringtone goes from loud to soft then loud and back to soft again in maybe 1-2 seconds interval when there's an incoming call, which is kinda annoying. Anyone else has this problem? is there anyway to fix it? it's not set to increasing ringing and i know its not a sound file problem cos when i play it it's fine, it's just when set to ringtone this problem came up.
much appreciated if anyone knows how to fix this
Do you have Microsoft voice command installed? If so, disable the incoming call announcement. It doesn't work, they wont fix it but it tries to announce. It drops the ring tone volume when it's supposed to be announcing the caller.
Bingo, that fixed it, thanks a lot! but i've got another question then, if i do want voice command to announce the caller, do i disable my ringtone then? Or it doesn't actually work at all? I've read somewhere rather vaguely that it doesn't work on the X1 but on others like the samsung onmia it works, is that true?
(man i love this phone but heck these little things just keep on testing me)
I bounced my way around a few of the threads discussing it and couldn't get it to work on mine.
Tried different cabs etc. I did find the .wav file MSVC created in //volatile and I could play it manually and it had the callers name constructed correctly etc, MSVC just wouldn't play it. Create the file, drop the volume, wont play it
Hihi,
I just recently updated my N1 to FRF83 on stock all the way and have started to experience a problem during my incoming calls and would like to ask if anyone else experiencing this as well.
Even after setting all volumes (notifications, ringing, media etc etc) to 100%, whenever I get an incoming call the phone doesn't ring and it only vibrates/LED trackball.
I've doubled checked that there isn't any contact-specific settings for ringtones and also tried using a volume control app to 100% all volumes. Also checked that its not a speaker problem cos the chosen ringtone plays alright on music players. Also tried both custom ringtones and default ringtones and there's no difference.
Been using my sister's phone to call my phone and the thing is that this situation is not consistent.
Sometimes it rings without any issue. Sometimes the ringtone rings for 3-5 secs and silences. Sometimes it does not ring while trackball/vibrate activates. Sometimes it does not ring and trackball/vibrate does not activate as well. The issue is equally inconsistent regardless of whether the phone is on standby(screen off) or active(screen on).
Thanks in advance if anyone can help
I have the same issue with the FRF91 build of Froyo. Looks like the Google forum has a bunch of people reporting this as well.
I'm going to try to go into recovery and clear the cache. If it doesn't work I'll wipe the phone and see if that fixes it.
Help .... I HAVE a TONE missed calls ... the phone does not give any beep .. except when talking on the phone, no ringtones ....no keyboard sounds....but when I talking on the phone the speaker works
First you should check the volume slider. It may not be at 0. Then I recommend to play a audio file using a media player to see if the speaker of your phone is generally working. At last go to settings\sounds & notifications to make sure there is a mp3 or wave file assigned as ringtone and sound notification is active for incoming calls.
I have a weird problem, when I receive a call, the ringtone stops playing after a few seconds, in the middle of the song, the screen call continues to show and all, but the sound abruptly stops.
I don't touch or go near it.
Anyone here has this kind of problem?

Every time I get a notification, I can't here the music anymore. It keeps playing but I can hear after 2-3sec later. The music doesn't pause or doesn't get dim. The sound totally stops while playing in the background. I use Poweramp. Is there a solution? using latest xiaomi.eu stable rom
Disable or alter notifications.
