[Q] SD card software help

Hi guys,
I need some help,
I was trying to change my SD card (16gb) to my HTC 8GB stock one. I copied all files from the 16gb to my pc and then to the 8gb card.
But when running apps on the 8gb they don't open, it gives an error something like "it's not signed or a component is missing"!! It says the same thing for all apps on the SD card.
I installed again the 16gb card and it now gives the same error!
I noticed that there is a folder on the sd card called "Windows Mobile - ActiveSync" with a certificate in it! I don't remember installing any certificate, but I have my exchange account configured on the device.
Do you guys have any clue what could be the problem?
Also in activesync the phone it's not syncing (but it connects) and I can't connect anymore with my exchange account via 3G!
I was noticing in the last days that my data connection (3G) was connecting many times, and I had it in manualy connecting only.
Ps: I was doing a backup of the SD card before testing the android build...

It looks like that I also can't reinstall the apps!
I notice also that some apps I have it on the phone memory and not on the SD card, but neither from SD or phone they run!

The fix seems to be formating the SD card on the phone and not in windows, and then copy the data in to the card.

[Q] Problem with games

Hi,i bought Ace 2 yesterday and i am trying to play some hd games on it,but i have a problem.If i put data directly on my sd card from my pc,it asks me to download the data via wifi on my phone memory.So i was wondering how can i make it download the games data on my sd card instead of the phone memory?And how can i run those games from sd card and not from the phone memory?
Please do not tell me to root my phone,cos before this one i had htc one v and wildfire s and all the games ran perfectly well from sd card and not from the phone memoryand it also downloaded all the data on the sd card...
So how can i fix this?

I tried everything and i still didnt manage to make the phone download the gameloft games data on my sd card instead of phone memory...
So if someone can explain this procedure i found (the link i posted on the end of this post) cos i did all that they said and i didnt manage to fi anything...

hi, i am new to this forum. so please guide me. recently i rooted my galaxy mini. its because my internal memory keep showing full on my phone. now i have rooted my phone. i used link2sd app to move my big size application to my sd card...... i thought after i rooted my phone it will be easy. but now i am facing a lot of problems.....
1] i cannot update what ever app that i moved from my internal memory to sd card such as facebook, whatsapp....
2] i keep getting internal memory full although i have only few apps inside my phone memory
3] now i am getting my message inbox is full. but my inbox is empty
4] if i download a game or an app from play store to be install in my sd card it will be download as ussual but when 99% completed it said no sufficent storage ...
5] they are a lot system app in phone memory but which want to uninstall without effecting my phone???
i hope u guys can help me to solve my problem.....sorry for the bad english....

I suggest you to flash cwm with odin and then flash a custom rom..Your lack of space can easily be solved using ext partition of sd card as a place to move data..Use the search button and all will be clearer!

[Q] WhatsApp media files

Hi, I just install WhatsApp on my new mini S3 and all media files from whatsapp are storage on the phone and not on the SD card! Anybody know how to fix it?

Its suppose to be on the phone, u cant change it

Idiots Guide to SD Card issue , possible need to root ?

Hi all,
I got my son a HTC Desire 510 for his birthday a little while ago. Its come to the time where his phone ran out of space.
I got a 32GB SD Card, i've removed all the photos and videos and got them on the SD Card. Ive tried to App2SD type apps and they just redirect me to the system "move app" function.
This doesnt work very well and doesnt really move the apps to the SD Card.
Do i have to root the phone to get this to actually move the apps over to the SD card ( is there a guide for this ) and ( does rooting the phone stop apps like spotify and amazon instant from working due to the rooted phone )
or installing cyanogenmod for the htc desire 510.
Please can someone lend some advice ?
