Hi..Thanks for preparing this skined rom. Saw you on cm11 touchwiz rom but cant help as all I can do is compile things on cm11 like you have done. Sawing your interest to build on cm11, you can make xperia z2 rom fully on cm11. I made it but didnt post it as somebody has already posted it build on old cm11. In case you need the links to build z2 rom just tell me. Regarding this rom developer wulsic is already working on stock lg kitkat rom. Maybe he can help you. Check his thread in general section

Yeah and about wulsic I'm helping him with the rom
I flashed this with CM 11 4.4.3 gapps and the play store couldn't connect, my Google info could not be synced. I was connected to WiFi and had no other issues, jus couldn't get started...

great idea, it's nice to enjoy various skined rom ( sony / lg ) , aosp is more simple and fast but looks so poor! i try your work dude:good:

Install ROM then reboot to ROM and then reboot to recovery again and then flash gapps

What you need
The zip from https://cyngn.com/c-apps
This zip contains all apps which comes in cm brand phones/out on phones which have cm officially as default os. Rest of info you can get from link.
I m using oneplus one also so I can tell all are great apps. Oh u also get working audiofx .

Motorola allows official bootloader unlocking, so there is no incentive for any devs to try to find another way...therefore there is none. Unlock on Moto's site or not at all.

Hi, it's possible someone can upload sms/mms apk from cm13 ? Please

Please note that if you will flash on cm13 then the dialer will stop working and you will not be able to make or answer any calls , so your phone will become useless , this package is perfect only for CM 12 , and still if you want few apps like app themer than simply extract zip and copy theme chooser to prive app will work flaw lessely and most apps like Boxer mail and gallary next will work by normally installing it...
Hei there all.
The problem is you know the infamous call bug on xt1056.
Conclusion is : call bug is occure on lolipop rom, it only can be fixed by updating modem (which is still impossible if using an unlocked sim device). But Kitkat rom work flawless.
It mean if im using Kitkat firmware on Lolipop Rom it maybe work.
So to resolve this problem i've a little question :
1. What is extracted from proprietary blobs when building a ROM?
2. Which one is the driver/firmware that work as a calling driver?
For the first question, i need to examine both of the file from 5.1 and 4.4.4. And make a trial and error and hoping it will resolve the problem.
For the second question, i will try to replace a neccessary file to make the bug resolved.
What ive got:
Ive explore system/etc/firmware, there are some modem files. I havent compare it yet with the proprietary blob from 5.1 or 4.4.4.
Maybe this will not resolve the problem since maybe there is no way to make 4.4.4 driver to work on cm13 ROM without ROM compiling, or it wont work because unsigned driver, or any issue that may cause a problem. Please guide me here. I dont have a developing experience yet.
I know this all is for the sake of xt1056 sim unlocked user (which is unable to unlock the modem on 5.1 yet). I hope someone will help me here.

I mean system file that work as a driver on a ROM.
A proprietary blob system file to be precised.
@fadyrox try to get spc code while you on Kitkat using spc utility/mls utility. If we can get that, there will be a probably to unlock the modem.

Btw, can you try to switch to art runtime on 4.4.4.
Somebody reported that ART runtime maybe the cause of call bug.
If in 4.4 with Art runtime behave the same way in Lolipop ROM. So we know the culprit is on the Runtime.
Change from dalvik to ART on developers option.

I have lg l90 d405 rooted with custom recovery installed, I want to port xperia z5 rom to my phone, I saw many member like stryder 007 and others have done it successfully and I am asking if any one could help me how to port it to my phone pleazzzze :crying:

You can't port 100% same rom from Z5, use cm as base, port framework, SystemUI, apps etc

you can't directly port Sony Xperia Z5 rom.Use cm as a based rom.

I really thank you very much. I followed the instructions step by step but after flashing the rom it actually booted after that i got a message ( Unfortunately, system ui stopped working) then the phone reboot again and so for. Do you know what is really the problem for this ?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/chef-central/android/guide-how-to-fix-bugs-bootloop-ported-t3310214 try the bootloop solution.copy files from stock rom to your port rom and correct the system ui permission.And sorry to say but I'm not that an advance user or developer.

I don't think it's not very easy to port Z5 rom because it's totally different from our device system structure.If it's possible here's so many good expert developers who can port Z5 rom for our device.Though try your best you can learn and gain knowledge about it.

I actually managed to port xperia z5 rom to LG L90 D405 but with some issues :
1- no cell phone signal
2-wifi not turning on or off
3- bluetooth not turning on or off
4- power key not working
5- physical nav keys (home button, back, recent apps) not working
6- Screen resolution is bigger (My phone original resolution is 960x540 with 240dpi, the rom that i ported is 720x1280 with 326 dpi)
7- camera app open and show an error and the closes

Bug fixing thread didn't help you?Sony camera app may not work if you add it to port rom also.And what cm version rom did you use as base rom?All version may not work to change resolution dpi or not support.Try cm 10 or aosp base rom.aosp rom have this feature.

Understood but that cm will not work.Go to your LG Mobile forum in xda and find if anyone already built a aosp rom for your device.You can use that aosp as base rom.This sould fix the dpi problem.Otherwise you'll have to find same resolution port rom for your device.

I fixed the DPI but the other problems didn't find a solution for it I am really disappointed that no one of the developers is helping

What other problems?You sometime won't get help from the developers because this type of related threads are available many in xda forum.So it's better to use Google or xda search engine.You'll get your desire answer.If you are new to port rom it can be hard for you.We many uaers want Z5 rom for our device too but developers are refusing to do it.Or may not work properly in our device.So this is a very big challenging if are not an expert developer or user.You can ask problem maybe I can research the problem for you from my own knowledge and from XDA. I'm intereste on this type of matter.

Thanks.But you created this thread in wrong place.This thread should be in troubleshooting section.So now what problem that you are facing?and how did you change the dpi? Some user says cm 10 and aosp rom work properly.Did you changed the build.prop?

You again mistakes!Pendemic warned you in your early thread.And from there you already got your answer.Like I told you before you can't port z5 rom directly.Well this is not bad to try.who knows if you actually can port the rom successfully.

Used cyanogenmod 13 for a while on this phone but decided to revert back to stock because of the camera. now when i try to install it and do a factory reset from twrp i cant!
on twrp boot it gives me an error that it cant mount /data (no such file or destination) thus not wiping it, thus not being able to install cm13. any help?
EDIT: seems that twrp doesnt detect internal storage at all. shows 0mb available , but i can browse it on the stock file manager just fine. ideas?

try to flash custom rom based on stock
and then flash stock recovery and then do a factory reset from stock recovery
try it and tell me what happened

I don't think so,but you can unlock the phone instantly with your fingerprint,so I personally see no reason to use DT2W on this device.

if only LTE is availeble, what happen when you are in a place where the reception isn't good? Does the network stop working?

When i have no LTE coverage, i have 3G network, so no
Everytime i want to pair my LG G Watch bluetooth turns off... And new on again...

CM13 can't be used as a template.
Other devices got CM14 because:
a)their stock rom stopped at MM,but their developers made the blobs open source,so they can easily go to CM14
b)they already have stock N,so they simply use the blobs from it.
Our device doesn't meet none of the provided scenarios,we will probably get stock N on December,and only then will we be able to start working on it.
