Please feel free to do so, glad someone who will maintain it is taking over the project. There are some themes on the second page that haven't been updated into the OP yet (been meaning to get to that).
That thread is the #1 google search result for "cm7 theme chooser", I'll put something in the top of the post linking over here when you get it all added.
As for credit, poontab did as much or more searching than I did.

Thanks for this amazing project .. It's So Hard to do that big effort because i planned lately to do like this Project and i start open every page contain CM7 Theme!! a lot .. So would you mind if i Take a copy of all the thread and modified it to Arabic language to put it in Arabic forum and giving full credits to XDA Forums, you and every one in credits list ?

Hey folks from XDA! i am very happy to introduce my first theme "Blue Night"
The theme is based on ThemeDIY but i changed it with my desktop until i found it useable as daily driver.
The reason the theme is based on ThemeDIY is because i'm a High-School student and i'm really lazy .
also , because of this the theme WILL NEVER COST MONEY. NEVER EVER. as requested by ThemeDIY creator.
