I've created a modified framework.jar that simply disables the high-volume warning and I thought I'd share it in case anyone else wanted it. This is for people that want to disable this damn annoying "feature," but don't want other features of custom roms. Modified from the OCF T-Mobile firmware. Tested on T-Mobile S6 (920T) running Deodexed, Debloated stock. May or may not work on other versions.
Requires: Root, Deodexed ROM
To install:
Backup and delete your framework.jar from /system/framework/framework.jar
Copy the framework.jar from this post into /system/framework/framework.jar
chmod it to 644
Restart and wait for all the Optimizing...
If there are problems, simply restore your backed up framework.jar (which you backed up because you followed the instructions, right?)
If there's enough demand/If I have time, I can create a flashable zip.
Once again, YMMV.
Thanks. How do I find out if rom is deodexed? I'm on clean rom lite.

Check the OP for your ROM thread. Or check to see if there are .odex files in the /system/app/xxx/ folders.
Now we just need to figure this out for odexed ROMs.
Is this gonna work on Stock Rooted 5.0.2 - S6 - 920I ?
Unfortunately no, i've tried it on Stock Rooted 5.0.2 - S6 - 920F, it doesn't work. I think, the same on 920I
Doesn't work on my Galaxy Note 4 N9100.
Stock Rom 5.1.1 rooted..... Odexed .. that why but I tried
That F...g warning still appears
Too bad, thank's anyway

Hey,
I want to revert back to stock 2.3.4 but I want to keep root and clockwork etc, so anyone know where I can get a stock 2.3.4 flashable zip?
Right now I am on CM7 latest
Thanks
i found this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1061648
if i download this rom from the thread:
GRJ22 OTA (stock vanilla - odexed, unrooted):
http://www.mediafire.com/?shsmauak48b8hc4
MD5: 3B2B7B0BAAAA803365A573FC3864A150
is that the original stock 2.3.4?
anyone?........
The mediafire one is linked to a stock 2.3.4 that is deodexed that is still unrooted. If you want to read up on what deodexed means, check out this article.
http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/what-is-odex-and-deodex-in-android-complete-guide/
You will still need to root this ROM.
In the thread, the top link is "stock" 2.3.4 but rooted and deodexed (along with the other things he mentions in the thread).
Basically, you have two options. Use PASSIMG to get your phone back to stock and update to 2.3.4. Then, if your bootloader is unlocked, you can flash a custom recovery and flash one of the many su.zip files out there that give you root access. This will truely be a rooted stock 2.3.4 install. If you want the easier route, use the link in the thread you referenced above.
I built one about a month ago for someone who wanted the same thing, but I'm struggling to find it...
EDIT: I've just thrown something together, if you still need it? Basically, I removed the stock recovery from the GRI40 and GRJ22 updates, so that you can flash them without losing recovery. You can then flash the su zip, and you will be updated, with root...
Tested, and it works...
The OTAs were just updates (about 5mb) from previous versions so there is not stock full system zip. You would probably need to flash stock 2.3.3 then you can flash the 2.3.4 update. Now there is also a 2.3.6 update that is flashed from 2.3.4.

Danger-rat,
please can you upload it.
I currently have 2.3.3 rooted somehow :S and it keeps FC sometimes and the default music app cant read my songs... but rootexplorer can. So i want to get a clean rom see if it all works. and ofc keep recovery.
As noted in the thread, this is something I've just thrown together. It's basically the full GRI40 update, and the GRJ22 update patch with the stock recovery and recovery restore scripts removed from both- this means your custom recovery will not be over written.
Backup your apps (Titanium, or whatever)
Boot into recovery.
Make a backup of your current ROM
Do a full wipe
Flash GRI40
Flash GRJ22
Flash the su zip
Reboot
Restore your apps...

sorry i just pm'd you and you've already replied ages ago. That tea break took longer than expected... thanks again !
/edit just figured it out i think. gonna give it a shot.
/edit2 i think i screwed it up, i was trying another stock rom i found and it seems to have done something, so i cant run my apps and do an app back up, which is no biggie from what i remember it just takes AGES to re-download. and set up settings etc. also no rom back up atm
but as long as i get back i hope its ok
YES thanks Danger-Rat
Brilliant help, absolutely no errors. just gotta restore apps and settings now.
Thanks again
I just updated my phone to GB version 20b Singapore starhub rom, rooted and I found my apps and framework under system file is odex.
So my question is....
1)How do I deodex it?
2)I found all the custom rom and theme is deodex,if I install deodex custom rom/theme over my odex, will I get a bootloop?
Well,to let you guys know I just flash modaco GR4 rom and deodex theme...resulting a bootloop but I manage to see a boot animation, after that is bootloop...so it's that normal?!
Lastly can I install Paul's v20l-stock-rooted-deodex.zip file?If so,will my version will be v20l instead of v20b?

http://www.droidforums.net/forum/xeudoxus/47283-release-xultimate.html Not sure it's good for O2X.
http://wiki.sdx-developers.com/index.php/How_to_deodex_a_ROM
2/
Flash any custom ROM, they are all deodexed except if clearly precised. Mostly Paul's ROM are available in odex versions for those who don't want to customize.
If you flash a 20L, you'll have ......20L.
Make a good factory reset in CWM, maybe twice before flashing new ROM, and perhaps reformat /system /data and /cache to be sure.
P.S: a google search is sometimes more fast than asking here ;-)

Thanks for the answer Striatum.
I've try the 1st one xultimate, but get an error in LGE video player when deodexing, not sure what is the error.
2nd one I haven try yet, maybe next time
Well,I've flash Rebuild of Official Italian/European v20l Gingerbread Update from Hell_97 and it's work perfectly.
Ohh..I also copy my original build.prop file and paste it to rebuild one,and guest what...my rom version now is v20b!
Just for my curiosity, why do you absolutely need a 20b version?

Well that's a good question...I don't want to confuse one of my buddy who's also bought the same phone and updated to 20b...
I own an S3 LTE i9305 which is COMPLETELY STOCK with Android version 4.1.2 and I was planning on getting a Custom ROM on it
I have been doing a lot of reading on the different procedures and what all to Install and quite honestly I am getting a bit confused. So I am just gonna jot down the entire procedure of what I have understood. I would really like to have some help from experienced members to let me know if I am going wrong somewhere
1. Rooting: Flashing the CF-AutoRoot file using Odin while the phone is in Download mode<<>> There are 2 files on https://autoroot.chainfire.eu/ for my phone, one is for 4.1.1 and the other is for 4.4.4. Not sure which one to go for. Also I have downloaded Odin3_v3.09
2. Flashing CWM: after rooting I will want to flash CWM the file for which is http://download2.clockworkmod.com/recoveries/recovery-clockwork-6.0.4.7-i9305.img using Odin while the phone is in Download mode
3. Flashing ROM: I am sort of interested in this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/development-i9305/rom-miui-v6-smooth-faster-ota-t3097018 so I will downloaded the latest ROM file from the given download link and flash it using Odin while the phone is in Download mode
Before performing any of the above I will perform the procedure given here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...warning-guide-backup-restore-imei-nv-t1946915
Also I have checked under Settings>Security>Device admins> There is no KNOX thingy
Also I have question about this GApps, what package should I go for and is it flashed in the same way?
Also how shall I make a backup image of my phone so that I can restore it in its current state if something goes wrong?
Thank you!

Hi,
1. Use the 4.1.1 file. Your bootloader is the older one, the other file is for knox
2. Not sure about that cwm file. It is .img file; AFAIK you need a .tar file. Check this thread for more info and the .tar file HERE
3. When you download the rom file, it is a .zip. You will need to flash this once you reboot into the cwm recovery you installed in step 2, after doing the recommended wipes from the OP of the rom you want. (Recovery mode not download mode)
Gapps - choose a package from HERE You need a 4.4.x package(if you install the rom you mentioned). I like minimal gapps by @jajb, but up to you
You can make a nandroid backup from the cwm recovery, but I would recommend downloading the stock firmware from sammobile.com from your region as a backup
Good idea backing up efs folder btw. I would recommend that to everyone

Right so a couple of minutes ago I have successfully rooted the phone (verified via Root checker) and I have also successfully flashed CWM (verified by entering recovery mode)
So now before I flash my ROM the question I have is. Do I have to transfer the ROM to an SD card then install it Via SDCard? Also how do I flash the GApps? Via SDcard or ODin?
Also technical points aside which ROM do you suggest is lightweight and good for i9305? There really are a lot of ROMs I am having a hard time selecting one

You only need the recovery to flash from now unless you need to install the stock firmware. Just install the .zip files for the rom and gapps to the external sd card if you have one, or to the phone storage(just don't format internal sdcard when you do your wipes)
For the rom you could try Slimkat 4.4.4 It's nice and stable and lightweight(I haven't tried slimsaber in the same thread)
Generally if you want stability, then kitkat or earlier android versions would be what I would recommend. Lollipop builds at the moment still have a few bugs such as gps or mms etc not working properly for some users
And generally the non touchwiz roms are more "lightweight" but the TW roms have some of the features from the stock roms(samsung features).

Thanx for that. Before you made this reply I already flashed the Resurrection Remix ROM along with the Minimal GApp that you mentioned. SO far its running good. Theres slight lags that my eyes are picking up but since I am open to experimenting with my current S3 LTE before I get an Asus Zenfone 2, I dont mind the Beta builds.
After flashing the ROM and Gapps I also ran the Bloatware remover script which worked fine. Installed Google music and Cabinet beta along with Google chrome from Play store. However I miss the search bar that used to be on my homepage for quick googling, any idea how I can get that? I dont see it in the widgets or anywhere else in the phone

So, I haven't been in the custom rom world since the S5 and the advent of Xposed. So I could keep my phone completely stock. I've been looking for deodexed version of 5.1.1 so I could download xposed on my S6, which I have been dying without for months. But to my surprise, all of the deodexed roms are for custom recoveries that trip knox, and I'm still trying to preserve mines. Is that a deodexed version of stock 5.1.1 as an odin file anywhere? Or is there a method to make it.
Thanks in advance.
Second this request; if anyone can at least point me to the correct way to deodex a stock ODIN ROM, that would be very helpful too. Thanks.
I am at this point. I am rooted following these instructions:

w/ this rom installed:

Lets just go with I am an idiot when it comes to this stuff. I am getting confused between firmware, kernals, bootloaders, deodexed, etc. Not sure what files to use, what versions, etc. I am lucky I havent bricked my phone yet. All I know is I was able to get root. When i try to flash xposed, it says the firmware needs to be deodexed. I thought I was. I dont need a dummies guide per say, but the correct order to do things and the correct files required. Can you help?

Before flashing that ROM, you need to edit the options.prop (I think) within the zip file to make sure it flashed the deodexed version of the ROM. Then you can flash your xposed.

On a slightly different topic, how do i go about doing the same to get marshmellow. I couldnt find instructions like the ones i posted in my OP for marshmellow.
One other question, how do you tell if your bootloader is locked or not?
*sigh*
There's a thread titled "how to update to pf4" which is marshmallow. Follow it.
Go to getex's thread regarding unlocking bootloader. Chances are good that if you don't know, you're not unlocked.
