Hi I have ordered a brand new phone Htc J One from Japan.I had the previous One X and I had intalled the ViperX4.0.6 edition which was great.I wonder if I install the ViperOne 4.3.0 which is for global Htc One,will I have any issues with the extra sdcard which has extra on board. Also the Lte will it works?cause I have noticed some questions in the forum without clear answers.
Thanks beforehand
sadly there is no custom ROM available for HTC J One HTL22
That was a kick in the balls ,but I hope that maybe a special release will come out,
thanks
yeah you should have done some research before ordering it
or waited for M8
That was the last think I had in my mind,I found a pennyworth at ebay, the J edition has the extra sd advance and I got it.That's ok
still..is it rootable? At least I have the root benefits

Hi,I tested both Roms but both have bugs.
The Android Revolution HD 61.1 crashes when you close bluetooth, radio does not work, bought apps cannot installed, bluetooth does not give you the abillity to call,sd is invisible,I havent noticed anything else yet ,but it's a fast rom.
The Renovate 2.1.0 is unworkable, you cannot control the touchscreen.
I have found this site from vietnam which gives many options for alternative roms
http://www.tinhte.vn/threads/htc-j-...oc-phat-trien-boi-huukhai-15-04-2014.2261036/
but still !! all the roms have issues with the touchscreen at list for me.
Maybe the vietnam htl22 have different drivers.
I take the roms from this site
http://htcsoku.info/htcsokudev/2013device/m7_wlj/dev/global_edition/beta/
it's japanese, they worked for me but still have various bus which it is announced. The best i tried is the HTC Sense 5.5 με Android 4.3 beta 1 it's very stable and fast, the only issue is the bluetooth calling
Also now I am installing the Viper Ver 6.0.1 from the vietnam site which I dont know if is ok yet but at least the screen works
HTL22 is a very strange phone without much interest from the developers ,sadly.I'm not from Japan.I bought it hoping that it could give the advance from the international version. But the extra sd was a huge exchange about the rom support which we dont enjoy.

all HTL22 in vietnam is shipped directly from Japan so i don't think it driver issue, all the issues you encountered haven't been reported by anyone who use those roms, weird, the only issue that all roms have is the NFC can't work at all

oh, i figured out why you encountered those issue, it's indeed because of the hardware drivers, first, you need to go back to stock and then update OTA to the newest software number and then flash recovery and flash my rom, that it, all issues will be fixed

Thanks for the reply Kurokeita,I haven't also thought about the ota update that I didn't received.I was on a harry to root it when I received it from the posts and I didn't update it. 9/10 roms that I have tried had the same issue with the screen. My problem now is that I havent the original stock recovery to flash it.I kept the stock kddi backup rom but not the stock recovery. Can I you post it?
Also I have tried the Viperonej 6.0.1 its great rom but a bit slow!My benchmarks droped to (antutu 25600 and quadrant 11650) with other roms I had 28450.The Android Revolution HD 61.1 was very fast but unstable. The rom is a little laggy and the radio don't work!I dont care for the nfc.The great issue for me is that bluetooth calling is working and I'm happy for this cause all the working roms I have tried were buggy with this issue.I am hoping for an update.
thanks man and I am hoping to sent me the boot.img

That id the stock 4.1.2 from KDDI, just download it and rename to PN07IMG and copy it to your ext-sdcard and then reboot into hboot, it then search for stock rom in the ext-sdcard and will ask if you want to update or not, just press the volume up button and the update process will start, after all is done, update your firmware to the newest version to get the lastest drivers and then once again update the stock 4.1.2 to get back to hboot 1.52 (all roms that have been ported to HTL22 will have touch screen issue on hboot 1.54, still haven't figured out why that happen yet), and flash recovery and flash the rom you want and all work fine\
About ARHD61.1 lagging issue, i'm not sure if that is just your device problem but when i used that rom i didn't notice any issue, try wipe cache and dalvik-cache and see if that solve your issue with lagging, about the radio, i don't used it so i have no idea, will ask others who used ARHD61.1 if they have encountered it or not
And here is the Renovate 2.2.0.2, make sure you full wipe before flash this rom so that Tweak app (it's like venom tweak) work properly
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8smFc9Lui2tZGs5WktTbGduSjA/edit?pli=1 in my opinion this is the best rom that i ever used, flash it and use with kernel ElementalX 13.4 for best performance and battery life
Thanks about your support.I will try you the firmware update.I have the hboot 1.54.0000 and radio 1.23.11.1209 and its S-OFF.
About the ARHD61.1 is very fast ,it has a lot of bug maybe you confused with the viperone 6.0.1 I told, sorry. At ARHD61.1 I noticed varius bugs as:
invisible externalSD,when I open the bluetooth and the disable it the hol phone crashes, bought apps cannot installed.I always make a full wipe before installing from the option which give any rom.
The Viperone6.0.1 is very stable. The only issue is the radio bug and that it's a little laggy with low benchmarks. But it works fine.
I havent tried the ElementalX 13.4 cause I dont care about overclocking but as you say i will try it.
The major thing that I have noticed in evry rom is that the bluetooth works only for transer data or listen music when I tried to call it was dead. The only roms that worked properly was the viper 2.7 and the viper 601.The viper 2.7 is a tweked KDDI version with no error BUT it takes you 200mb ram away!you only see 1.5gb,its slow as the viper6 and contence the 4.2.2 android.
I will try to update the only thing I fear is that due to I live in Greece the update never wont come.I'LL SEE
Unfotunately my friend I rolled back the phone to hboot 1.52 and still I couldnt control the screen to Renovate 2.2.0.2 rom.I had done all the updates.I dont know what is wrong.I will return to the Viperone 6.10 and when a solution will come I will try again.
viperone rom

What's the latest firmware version for hboot 1.52 and how do I upgrade it ?
Hello fellow S4A owners,
Today I installed the SlimBean rom from spegelius (thank you!) found here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2640732
Although it was the first time I flashed a rom on my phone, I followed every steps carefully and everything worked fine.
I only have an issue with the playstore : apps download on 3G is really really slow, like 10 kB/s.. while on wifi it seems normal.
I performed a few speed tests on 3G and I hit 1800kB/S on ookla's speedtest app, and everything else seems normal. only the playstore seems to be affected.
I did the "playstore update" when prompted (on wifi) but no change. (I don't really know what that did though..)
anyone has an idea ?
please keep in mind that I'm relatively new to this kind of stuff so don't get too angry if I'm asking the wrong questions please
Thank you
mazuno
ps: I'm not posting on the rom's thread since I am not allowed yet.

Hmm.. Don't think it's related to the custom ROms and gapps.
Can you check your baseband Version? Mine is currently at UBMK3 ... No problems so far with download speeds. You might also want to consider that mobile data isn't exactly as fast as Wifi which is tied to a DSL or broadband line.

Hi, my baseband version is I9295XXUBMK2 (what does that mean and what's the difference with yours beeing UBMK3 ?)
I had no problem either in wifi or data before installing the custom rom
AND except for google playstore my data speed is correct everywhere (youtube videos, webbrowsing, pron (lol jk) )
seems like it's related to google playstore but how?
Not too sure of the reason now...
Can you try using the generic gapps from goo.im/gapps ?
https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/1067233?hl=en
Currently I'm running spegelius' CM port together with the generic gapps with no problems at all...
if you have hangouts installed, pls logout of it then check if playstore is more responsive.

nope, it did not fix the issue.
If I install the generic gapps now, will it erase some of my settings I did? because now I spend a lot of time customizing my phone since I installed the new rom, and I dont want to do it all over again ^^

Not really too sure about what's the exact problem... if customizing your phone means that you have installed a lot of apps already, get Helium or Titanium Backup to backup all your apps. before reinstalling the generic gapps just in case.
I have already switched to using the CM 10.2 unofficial version by Spegelius and installed the generic gapps. Everything's fine so far.
Hey friends,
I just got done more or less gaining S-Off on my VZW One and Flashing stock 4.4.3 radios, kernels, and firmware. After which, I went and flashed Viper One 7.0.2 and figured I'd flash the kernel it came with. Every looks to be running fantastic, but now I'm just trying to get double tap to wake working again. I had it working on a very old build of Viper One but can't get it working here. I also went and enabled the " Apply kernel settings on boot" option that was present but no dice. Any ideas?

HTC One M7 Verizon possibly this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2600691
you should double check that is for your device & version
and do a nandroid backup before
According to that link, that kernel supports Sense 5.5 Android 4.4, while Viper One 7.0.2 is based on Android 4.4.3 Sense 6. Will this still work or am I better off looking for a different kernel from the Verizon M7 thread...

Hey guys,
I've had a HTC One m7 in the past which I unfortunately bricked.
So I bought a HTC m8 last year which I dropped @ the club haha anywayyy.
I bought myself another m7 for 150 euro & installed insertcoin sense 7 latest rom. ( tried viperrom also, same thing)
Games run extremely laggy (FPS drops-like)
Hearthstone doesn't run smooth etc
Is it the android 5.X or could it be something else?
I need some help, for the rest it works flawlessly alltho i kinda notice that it was faster a long time ago.

Imo the M7 was definitively faster on Kitkat than lollipop but make sure you are not in battery saver mode. Might also worth a try to turn on performance mode in the developer menu. You might also want to try a GPE lollipop rom instead of a Sense lollipop rom. GPE is smoother than Sense on lollipop.
Oh i've never thought about performance mode.
I'm 100% sure i've never enabled battery saver mode tho.
Can you point me a fast 4.4.4 rom ? or a good working GPE one?

Well if you have s-off you can convert to GPE using the GPE ruu, otherwise you can flash the stock 5.1 GPE rom using a custom recovery: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/development/rom-google-play-edition-lollipop-v1-00-t2963927
Or you can try an old 4.4.3 ARHD or MximusHD rom. (there is no 4.4.4 Sense roms)
I'll try hearthstone on my GPE 5.1 for you, will post back in a few mins
Allright i'll wait on your findings then, if it works i'll just go straight to GPE 5.1
I haven't done this S-off thing in ages, dunno how anymore haha

I'm on stock GPE 5.1 (used a ruu) but you'll have to use the rom linked above since you don't have s-off to convert using a RUU.
allright i'll do that, Do I have to install that NuK3rn3l also through TWRP?
I picked the one below that said for s-on people or something
what does he mean by

I no longer use my LG L90 D415 device anymore as I moved onto the Nexus 6P, but I do have it as a backup phone, I flashed CyanogenMod 13 on it prior to not using it. I realized now that the device just is super laggy with it. What are the best recommended stable ROMs for this device, is it still best to go stock? I am also curious if there are any good Marshmallow ROMs out there as well.
CM 13 is very smooth. Do not know why yours is lag, but you can try full wipe and re-flash, then wipe cache/davik again. If you still feel lag, I guess there is no rom can satisfy your need.

Sweet, I just flashed it. So far so good. I don't intend to run many apps, in fact, probably just need it to be capable enough to check emails, browse the web, answer calls and text messages. Its just a backup phone really. I'll play around with it to see if I do experience any issues, but it seemed blazingly fast (just as fast as my Nexus 6P!) from the initial setup.

If there is any problem, you can try slimrom or RR. both are good, and almost bug-free. If you just use L90 as a backup phone, I think there will be no problem. the funny thing is I just bought L90 as my main phone, replacing sony E1, which is also a great phone for me (of course, with many tweaks and debloat)
RR is ok but Sygic Navigation dont work :-/ I use Teamsek.
Maybe just me but on all clones cm13 after uninstalling any apk, system process crashes.
I also use Temasek...everything works great!

I have been using the CM13 since March or April I don't remember exactly when, and it works fine. I installed the Gapps Mini, I have root and xposed installed.
I have been updating the rom several times a month, the last update I installed was from 11-06-2016.
I have some Apps installed, but I dont use facebook, neither facebook messenger, or even snapchat.
The rom looks very stable, and I only notice lag sometimes, it's not perfect, but works. Much better then stock 5.02.

The rom looks very stable, and I only notice lag sometimes, it's not perfect, but works. Much better then stock 5.02.

How do you install xposed? Do you have xposed framework for this device (recovery or other way)?
Thanks

You will need ther recovery, but you can use this apk to install it:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/material-design-xposed-installer-t3137758
When you install this apk, do not update the app (even if it says that exists an update), because it breaks the xposed framework installation from the app.
This version does almost everything for you.
If you update the app, you will need to download the xposed .zip from xda, and install it from xposed, because for some reason, the app can't find the xposed framework anymore.
I hope I helped you.

Tahnks. Already have apk installed, xposed working and forced the IMEI through apk, but it only changes IMEI from dialing *#06#. If you go to phone testing - *#*#4636#*#* you can verify the IMEI is still 0 (zero).
I Use ORION OS on both of my LG D415's.
Its been a while and I wanted to follow up on this subject. What is the current most stable ROM? Really going for no issues and stability as I would like to give this phone to a relative.
I'm using the second to last nightly build from 12/12/2016. Has been good for me. Honestly, I would use the lineage os that slim built. Only caveat, it is not root. A patch for that will probably be available soon. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70643376&postcount=972
OR
slimrom 2.0 https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-l90/development/rom-slimrom-marshmallow-t3298337
I have been using RR for a few days now and has been stable and fast. I also noticed a big increase in battery life.
