Help! I've been getting a lot of "phone storage is low" messages lately on my M7. I would go in and delete a few pics and then some artists from my music library, but every time my apps updated I would get this message again. When I went into settings - storage it would show considerably more GB of music listed than I knew I even owned! To experiment, I went in and deleted ALL my music from the phone. Under settings - storage, it still shows that I have over 12GB of music, but when I tap the "make more space" option it doesn't even bring up music as an option. What's going on? Why does my phone think I have so many GB of music? (screenshots attached)

I have roughly half the available memory left:
I don't understand why I would be getting this message.
Is there a known bug with this program? Any suggestions on how to fix it?
I have most my apps on my 16gb microsd card and have rooted and removed a lot of the bloatware.
Going to check to see where TiBackup stores it's backups as this might be eating some space but still, with over half the space still available, don't see how it is happening.
Have currently uninstalled the app and the warning has gone away.
Suggestions?
Sent from my LG-P925 using XDA App
I wanna install a few apps (GPS for example) on the internal memory since i still have plenty of space left

Go to Manage Application in Setting you will see a list of loaded programs. Choose the apk and the program will let you know if you can move it to the sdcard.
By default, all your apps and games are installed there (phone memory) but the data is what some apps and most games save in your sd card..
You can go to Settings > Apps and click on the app you want to have on your phone and see if the option "Move to SD card" is greyed out or not
This way you'll know which apps are stored in your phone memory and which are not..
Well this is odd, when I turned my phone on this morning, "Motorola Contextual Services" force closed about 3 times and hasn't done it since. Then when I was driving to work, it didn't read my incoming messages or calls, which was weird. So I went into the Assist app and I saw that the "Driving" tab wasn't there anymore. I (reluctantly) reset the phone, and it still doesn't show up.
I took the screenshot before I reset, so it still has a xposed on it, but I used RSD lite so it reset everything.

While driving it's nice to be able to use hands free to send a text but everytime I try to use it, ie "Ok hotword" send text to so and so I keep getting the "To improve....." screen.(see image) If I opt in it will last maybe a day and I'm right back at it. Any way to make this permanent?

MTA: Seems that a setting for device information must be enabled in order to keep from getting this screen all the time. Simply go into "Google settings->Search & Now->Accounts and Privacy->Google Activity Controls"... Such a headache... but fixed.
Hi xda,
My friend has a P9, 32gb. However, apps like Disk Manager only show 25,1 gb available. 16 of which is taken by the system. This leaves 9 out of the 32gb for her to use. Is this normal? Is there something to do about it?
That definitely is not normal.
My phone currently has 18.21 GB of free space. And this is after I installed some apps and games.
A clean phone should have more than 20 GB of free space available to user.
Have you tried factory-reset her phone?
No, I'll tell her to try that, thanks. Here is an image that shows how little space she has
